Kentucky Governor Drops STUNNING Ultimatum Over Mitch McConnell's Health Disaster

Our Republican supermajority has been so worried about me being able to potentially support someone before a special election, that they pass not one but two laws.They tried at first to say they could submit a list of three people to me from the Republican Party, and I'd have to pick.Now they say I can't fill a vacancy, but I have to call a special election.But here's the thing, There is a Kentucky constitutional provision that says that I appoint all state officers when there's a vacancy.The question is, does that apply to federal offices?Well, before there was ever a law in Kentucky on how this would work, multiple appointments were made by governors, assuming under that provision.

So if we end up there, and I hope we don't, I hope Senator McConnell will provide proof of life tomorrow and that we could all move on.there's at least going to be probably a little disagreement.

I bet there probably will be.And unfortunately, spoiler alert, if it eventually got to the Supreme Court, if it advantages the Democrats, they will strike it down.Let's just be clear about that.But regardless of what ends up happening, I like what Governor Beshear is doing right there.He is not backing off of Mitch McConnell just because he released this banger of a photo.Relationship goals, really, I think we can all agree.

You may not like his politics, but The dude's got aura.Anyway, so yeah, so they released that.And Governor Beshear could have just backed off and been like, well, we call his bluff and he released it, so now that's it.But a lot of people really do question whether it's true.There are still Republican senators saying they're not sure that that image is authentic.I lean towards thinking it's authentic.

But that said, if it is, what do you got for us today?Remember, He didn't wanna release that photo because old person something something privacy.Okay, well now it's been released and you'll look like a million bucks.So there's no reasonto be shy anymore.Let's get a little video clip, maybe record a vine, do a little dance or something.

There's gotta be something, right?Because again, it is one thing to establish that he's alive, if you even buy that he is.But let's say that you do.You still have to be able to do your job.You've taken a month off with not even a word to your constituents until literally yesterday.Let me ask you, dear viewer, how many days off do you get each year?

How many sick days do you get?And if you were to take those sick days consecutively for a month, do you think that you would have to do better than just a month later just be like, I think that it would be okay to expect more.I think I would be expected to provide more.And so I think it's totally reasonable for Andy Beshear to say, you know what?I'm glad that maybe you're alive or whatever, but I don't know, I think Kentuckians deserve an actual representative.And by the way, if you wanna come and debate my person or something, or I don't know, go to DC and vote on something, then you can establish that you can do your job.

But so far, you have not done that.All you've established is that, theoretically, worst case scenario, somebody propped your ass up and held your eyelids open or whatever, or I don't know, Chad GPT'd some open eyes, I don't know.This is not much at this point.And he says, moving forward, The senator should show we can meaningfully engage in his elected position through interviews, videos, or other means that can provide additional reassurance to our constituents.If you can lean up in your bed and put on a button up shirt for a photo, you can do that for like a live hit with meet the press or the source or whatever, or held the five.I don't know, but you could definitely do that if you wanted to.

Anyway, Bashir apparently behind the scenes is looking into all options to replace Mitch McConnell.It really isin his best interest.The dude spent a month, best case scenario, spent a month in the hospital for a mild case of pneumonia.Dude, take a day off, take a month off, take a year, take the rest of your life off.Okay, go be with your wife before she heads to China again, okay, on another unscheduled trip.

You see the video or the picture, I should say, of Mitch McConnell this weekend.And what do you think of his outlook?What are you hearing?

And you're like, I'm not a big fan of him.And then also, he spoke about him in the past tense there.Did anyone else notice that?No, that is either that Trump has written him off, which is totally possible.You might recall his on -camera interaction with Mike Johnson, where he was talking about the dude who's gonna die of cancer that was elected representative.And he has no empathy whatsoever.

Or conspiracy theorists might say, maybe he knows something we don't.To be clear, and I understand that this is not the most fun thing I can say.I think that it's probably a photo of Mitch McConnell.That's what I think.Cuz I think that if they were gonna fake it, why would it be so weird?Why would he be wearing jeans?
