mow this. This is... it's not a jungle quite yet, but it's getting there. Austin wants to mow pappas, which is a jungle and is going to require very slow, very high cutting, but she wants to do it tomorrow. So, tomorrow it is. We're going to work on this. We are still experiencing lower humidity which is lovely and lower temps.

I think it's probably in the low 80s. Really amazing. So, yeah. That's that. What else? I don't know. Bush hogging, bush hogging, bush hogging. He says there's more than he can get to. And he's the only one here that bush hogs. Nobody's been taught to bush hog. I don't have any desire to ever bush hog, honestly. Not on these hills.

So that's his job. And then, oh, I know what he told me. He wants to cut some hay. The fields down there that we want to plant, he says they've got some grass growing on them, just some native grass. So he says he's going to cut them. He's gonna try to cut that. I don't know y'all. I guess he said, you know, there might be 30 rolls down there and at this point we need everything we can get. Anything we can get. So, I guess that's the plan for this week. Although there is a good chance of rain several days so we shall see. Oil check, always check the oil as I've heard a hundred times.

Always check the oil, the gas will take care of itself. Okay.

And wow, who put that on so tight? Wow, she's dry. See how this works. Actually, I think this one does okay. You know how these gas cans are. They're terrible. Hard to get gas out of. Come on, full bunny. Full bunny. Somebody asked me what that means. It's that little

It sounds like it's going to blow up. I give up.

Oh my gosh. I actually got it to cut off by pushing the choke all the way up, which makes absolutely no sense. Past the point of frustrated with things that just don't work. Just yeah, okay. I'm not gonna mow. I'm just not gonna mow. I vacuumed. I'm gonna go do something else that doesn't require using equipment. Although, I do need to blow the porch off. Okay, well we got that taken care of this morning. And then it rained. It's rained some. It looks like it's going to rain some more. So, the hay forecast is not looking very good for the next two weeks evidently. I don't know.

Taking the dogs for a little walk. Lawrence has actually gone to pick up a bull. I didn't even know we were getting a bull, but here we are getting a bull. I guess I should have known that because we did have to borrow one last this past season. So I just forgot about that. He's gone to purchase a bull from the same person, Cheryl, that we borrowed the bull

from. I do remember when we were there and we dropped him off. He told her he wanted one he was looking at. It's all coming back to me now. Yeah, sometimes I just have to talk it out to remember things. So, he's gone to get the bull.

It's not time to put a bull out, but anyway, we're gonna have the bull. I don't... unless he's fitting in with that second group, maybe that's the situation. I don't know. We'll find out together. The humidity is coming back, y'all. It has been lovely for a week. It's been over a week now because we missed the first part. We missed the first five days of it when we were out west, but just now I can just feel it creeping back up. But, anyway, that's where we're at. So, I'm not really sure. I gotta get him to look

at that mower, though. I know that. I gotta figure out what's going on with that. He ended up bush hogging. He bush hogged Papa's front yard yesterday. I mean we need to go and mow it, but he did that to make it easier to mow. So, that's good. Hey buddy, I was gonna get my horse out too. I was gonna get my horse and wash him and there's probably really no need to wash him if it's gonna keep raining and be muddy but um I really was gonna ride you Rip. I was gonna ride you. Now it's getting hot again.

fun things like peppers,

bell peppers, sweet peppers, and then they brought a bunch of okra. So I am frying some okra,

which we love and we only get or do like once or twice a year. So that's doing its thing and then neighbor Jim brought us a bunch of sweet corn. So Lawrence was kind enough to shuck that for me just a few minutes ago. So I got that in the microwave because that's how I do corn now. I just wrap it in cellophane or serrane wrap or whatever you call that and put it in the microwave. My aunt Noni taught me that several years ago so that's a lot faster than boiling it and it tastes just as good y'all. So we're doing that and then I've cooked

like some noodles and some hamburger that I put with some alfredo sauce and it's just a hodgepodge, but I think it's gonna be pretty good. I got a bunch of okra and I was just saying, one of my favorite things is actually, I don't like boiled okra.

I can't stand that. I don't know why, I don't like it boiled, but I love it pickled. So I think I'm gonna try to find a recipe and maybe pickle some of that okra that I got from them. Cause some of it's a little big. I see you, Dixie.

I'm not sure how well it would fry, but I bet it would pickle just fine. So, I don't really know what to do with these, but I think the rest of my family loves these, so I think they're gonna just eat them. I know I could dry them. I don't even know how to do that. Just hang them up? I don't know. But anyway, that's what we're doing. Um, so Austin and I just got back. So, we're doing a new thing. She and I are doing a new thing. Not something that I was wanting to do, but I actually think it's gonna be a good

thing. So, um, the the local gym, the Planet Fitness, I know that that's like a whole chain thing. I've never been in one. Anyway, they had this thing where teenagers could join for free for the summer. Well, she mentioned that, so I decided to sign her up.

She's only got like a few weeks left. So I had to take her the other day. I wasn't just going to leave her in there by herself So I got like a free day. So the two of us went and I actually actually really liked it I liked all the machines and like all the equipment at your disposal And it was really clean and it just seemed like it seemed really good

So we just went back for our second day the first day We had no clue what we were doing. Literally tried every machine and literally everything hurts. Okay, so today I went with more of a plan. I have a little game plan. I have a little app. It's called the Strong App. My doctor actually suggested it. My functional doctor. If you're interested, you can like make your own workouts in there. And then anyway anyway you can do sets and reps and time

in between and all that stuff it's really cool so I made up like a little workout and went around and did it and so we were there for over an hour but I don't want to go this time of day anymore I don't want to be I like being home at five o'clock to start on supper and that was not the case tonight so anyway we're doing that and I'll be honest with you I've been very very very bad about working out the past three months I just have not been motivated I know you're there Dixie

bless its heart for probably a lot of reasons but just haven't been motivated so I feel like this is gonna be the kick in the pants that I need to get back on track doing some exercise so That's what we're doing. That's what we're doing. We try to go three days a week Yes, we are aren't we Dixie?
