Lee, what was your reaction to that 49 -foot vessel that crossed the Channel yesterday with 230 migrants on board?

Well, I'm not surprised at all, guys.My goodness, I was in the Northern Plains last week.How the hell can they get a boat this long, this long, across the dunes and onto the beach and into the sea without anybody seeing it?It's absolutely ridiculous.It's the only deterrent, Mark, that will work.I mean, these idiots we've got in Parliament are scratching their heads, wondering how to solve this problem.

It's very, very simple.You pick these people up at midpoint or wherever, rescue them from the sea, which you can do under maritime law, and return them back to France.And any that do sneak through or get through in the back of lorries, they should be securely detained in camps, not allowed to roam our streets, and then deported to a third country or to their own country very, very swiftly.
