Yeah, we called it a hoax, you big fat liar, because it was a hoax.Trump did unequivocally condemn the white supremacists and Nazis.The fine people the president referred to were those marching to preserve a statue that was being torn down.His condemnation of the white supremacists was crystal clear.

And you had people, and I'm not talking about the neo -Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally.But you had many people in that group other than neo -Nazis and white nationalists.

Now, let's talk about the war against Iran.And President Trump overnight posted this update.He said Iran has just informed us that they are in a state of collapse.They want us to open the Hormuz Strait as soon as possible as they try to figure out their leadership situation, which I believe they will be able to do.Thank you for attention to this matter.John, what can the US do to finalise this conflict now that it has achieved its military goals when You do have a regime that's fractured.

Well, Trump apparently is hoping that as Iran nears economic collapse, the remnants of the regime will be willing to make some kind of a deal that would involve turning over their nuclear material and some kind of agreement for monitoring to prevent future work on nuclear weapons.But if that doesn't happen soon, I'm not sure that there is anything more that we can do.The way this conflict would really be finalized is if the regime were overthrown.That's what we all want.I don't think we can make it happen without committing a lot of ground troops, which isn't going to happen.So I come back to the idea that if a deal isn't struck soon, it will be time to declare victory and bring most of our troops home.

John, is there anything America and its allies can do to help with regime change?Can those talks at some point of sending arms to the Iranian people to help them overthrow this regime?Is there anything that can be done to fast track this process?

Rita, I hate to say it, but using only air power, it's very tough.You really need men on the ground to affect regime change.Now, it might be that if we started bombing power plants and bridges, like Trump was threatening to do at one point, maybe that would stimulate a rebellion.But the fact is, the IRGC has all the weapons and that makes it very difficult for the Iranian people to rebel.

Well, let's hear from Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who talks here about Who holds the ultimate power in the regime?

Unfortunately, the hardliners with an apocalyptic vision of the future have the ultimate power in that country.That tension has always existed there.Always.I think it's pronounced now that you have a Supreme Leader whose credibility is still untested, whose access is questionable, who has not been seen visibly publicly, has not spoken.We have not heard his voice.So I think that creates tension in the system as well.

John, what power does the Supreme Leader have?And if the Hardliners in Iran, who've got a death wish, hold the power.How can the US ever really convince them to stop fighting?

Well, Rubio is clearly right.The IRGC is in control.The most you can say for the Ayatollah is that he probably is alive.But when you say stop fighting, the reality is they aren't really fighting.They're just hanging on, trying to survive.And unfortunately, as long as these remnants of the regime

manage to survive, they probably stay in power.

Now, let's hear from Acting Attorney General Todd Blanch on the charges that have been brought against James Comey, of course, the former director of the FBI.

Today, a grand jury sitting in the Eastern District of North Carolina returned an indictment against James Comey on two counts.The first count is that on or about May 15th of last year, he knowingly and willfully making a threat to take the life of and to inflict bodily harm upon the President of the United States.Count two.Same day, May 15th, 2025, that the defendant, James Comey, knowingly and willfully transmitting in interstate commerce a communication that contained a threat to kill the President of the United States John, these all stem from that 8 -6 -4 -7 post, which prosecutors say was a coded call to take out Trump.

And these aren't frivolous charges.They carry a 10 -year jail term.

Yeah, these are the famous seashells by the seashore.I think Comey's term as FBI director was a disgrace, but I am not on board with this prosecution.I think posting 8647 means that Comey hates Trump and would like to see him dead.But I don't think it was a threat that Comey himself was going to come after Trump.I don't think anyone believed that at the time.But that is what he's charged with.

And I don't think it is going to stick.

There is an appetite, though, amongst the right for some sort of accountability, reckoning, equal treatment, whatever you want to call it, for those who have behaved in this way, because we saw during the Biden years, peoplehaving their lives ruined on trumped up charges, sometimes on just completely frivolous grounds.So how does President Trump manage those expectations where people want to see some of these people who weaponised agencies like the FBI against their own population to pay some sort of a price?

Yeah, it's a great question, Rita.The right absolutely does want to see some retribution against these people, but you got to have solid charges.Now, John Brennan, for example, former CIA director is under a criminal investigation.I'm not sure exactly where that stands.I think that one might stick.He committed perjury and the statute ran the first time, but I think he may have done it again.

and he may be vulnerable to a perjury charge.So I think Trump and his DOJ, Department of Justice, just need to be very careful about making sure they are bringing strong charges against these people, because if the charges fail, then they're just going to claim vindication.

Now, before you go, let's look at this poll that was released overnight showing that Kamala Harris is the hot favourite to be the next Democrat presidential candidate.She is well in front in that poll, 50 per cent ahead of Gavin Newsom on 22.We've got Shapiro there, the Pennsylvania governor, on 9 per cent.AOC coming in at 8 per cent, God forbid.That's just great news for JD Vance or Marco Rubio, whoever ends up being the Republican candidate, John.

Yeah, the Democrats' bench is very thin, no doubt about it.Partly, it's just a lack of talent.But Rita, I think it's also the result of the Democrats devoting themselves to hating Trump and having no real positive program.I think that's one of the reasons why none of their people have much stature with the voters.And I think it puts them in a real hole.

have to run against back Kamala Harris again.I mean, her campaign was a disaster.She outspent the Trump campaign.I can't even remember the figures, but it was something like three to one or four to one just completely blew all that money, all that goodwill, all that positive press to lose every swing state, to lose the popular vote, to lose in a landslide.Would they go with her again?

There is absolutely no way that the Democrats nominate Kamala Harris again.She was a disaster, and they know it.You know what they may want to do, Rita?Watch for this.They may want to come up with someone with a fresh face that no one's heard of.That's what they did with Bill Clinton in 1992, and it worked.

I think that might be their best strategy for 2028.

Well, the president and the first lady have called for him to be sacked, but really, it should be the shareholders calling for him to be sacked because the show has to be losing a fortune.It's not just that.painfully unfunny, but you look at the ratings, this show is failing on every metric.He's coming in third again on viewership, way behind Fox News' Gutfeld.He's even trailing the soon -to -be -cancelled Stephen Colbert on CBS.So how could they justify keeping him on, given he's got a massive workforce?

This isn't a show that's cheap to produce.

Yeah, I don't know who ABC, maybe ABC stands for another boring comedian.Maybe that's their their new mantra.But what like if they cancelled Kimmel, how many people are going to be disappointed?5?15?It's not like there's going to be a big letter writing campaign.

Get Jimmy back on the air.And thoughts and prayers out.Right now there's an editor that has to put together the highlights of every Jimmy Kimmel episode.And that poor That poor soul's got nothing.

Oh, no.Well, I tell you, one person who would be disappointed would be his wife, who apparently is the head writer on that program.So just imagine.what a barrel of laughs it is in that household.Now, let's talk about the courtroom showdown between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively.It's approaching, it's gonna be scheduled for next month.

I find it interesting that all of these allegations and these tawdry sex stories, they're coming out like 20 years later.And this is like either in 1999 or 2009, it's that whole thing where people are like, oh, he's very rich, he's very wealthy, he's got a voice in politics, I'm gonna sue now.And for Russell, he looks like, Russell Brand when he talks always looks like, He's a juggler who's waiting for the balls to drop.It's like every time you see Russell, he looks like, I was just juggling a moment ago and nothing's happened.So I wish him the best.I think his heart's in the right place.

In an exclusive interview with Page Six, he recounted how he attended a party with Katy Perry in 2012.12, two years after they worked together for that music video.And Kloss went to the party with a friend.And as he was introducing the friend, Michael, he claims Katy Perry pulled down his pants and underwear, exposing his penis.Kloss said he immediately freaked out while Katy Perry just laughed and laughed.Now, I know you're probably going to make light of this, but people would say this is a serious issue and they can understand why this man is carrying some trauma.

Yeah, but like once you start calling it like trauma and Katy Perry, we're seeing a weird track.She's got like a little pattern now.She's accused of putting her groin in some other girl's face.And now she's like exposing this guy at parties.This is behavior that is unbecoming of an astronaut.I don't think she's gonna be riding any more rockets to outer space.

She's more like Katy, scary.Now, if this is me, If this is me and my old girlfriend yanks down my pants at a party, I'm going to say it was traumatic, but not for me, for everyone else at that party.They're like, whoa, that's trauma.
