LIVERPOOL DOUBLE TRANSFER BID!

Hello, everybody.Welcome to That's Football.I'm Mark Goldbridge.This is your latest football transfer news, and it's all going off.We've got deadlines.We've got Liverpool moving for two midfielders.

We've got Arsenal ready to pocket £100 million in sales.We've got Man City and Chelsea about to do a big deal as well, according to, well, latest news, which is what we're here to discuss.So hope you're doing very well.Lots to get.It just feels like this transfer window, we've only got two and a bit weeks left as well.It does feel like this transfer window in the next two weeks is going to go off like a bottle of pop.

So where to start?I suppose we should probably start with Liverpool.Fabrizio Romano, Barcola, not a Liverpool player yet.He was on unused sub yesterday in their 2 -1 win.against Aston Villa.Tell you what, that Aston Villa 17 -year -old, I mean, could he be the answer to England's problems when Harry Kane retires?

17, big lad, big reputation, keep your eye on him.So good, I can't remember what his second name was.Begins with an M. But look, you've got to start somewhere.We'll learn the rest of the name the more goals he scores.definitely a player to keep an eye on.But look, Liverpool could add two wingers to the squad, especially if Cody Gakpo ends up joining Tottenham.

Barcola deal remains on as talks are ongoing with PSG.Liverpool are open to adding one more winger, Mbaye on the list, but currently too expensive.So, look, I mean, this is what I'm talking about.We've got a deadline for Enzo Fernandes that's been set tomorrow for five o 'clock, according to Ben Jacobs for Man City, £120 million.We've got Rodri Big just being rejected again, second bid from Barcelona at Man City.Arsenal who've got that Vinny J money burning a hole in their pocket and they're about to pocket another hundred million pounds in sales.

There's going to be a lot of activity in the next couple of weeks and we sort of predicted this could happen with the World Cup pushing everything later.But it does feel like there might be a few teams in this Premier League season that don't start off the way they mean to go on in the sense that pre -season

I watched Man United last night, Brian M. Bermos got to be the prime example of a pre -season.We got him last year, didn't get a pre -season.It was a bit of a, you know, hit and miss season at times.Looks absolutely brilliant having had a full pre -season and I think he's going to have a big season for United.

So, whatever Liverpool are going to do on their wing, they're bringing players in late, and I think Iriola is going to be chasing his tail a little bit in this big season for Liverpool.So let me know your thoughts on that.I think they will get Barcola, but it's just got bogged down in the price.It gets to a point where you just need to go and pay it.

But would you let Gakpo go and bring in two midfielders, two wingers, or would you get Barcola, keep Gakpo for another year for a bit of stability, and then maybe do it next year with a different market?I mean, look, if you're looking for wingers, Neusser at Leipzig.I'm absolutely convinced Noosa Leipzig in the Premier League will be a bloody good winger for somebody at some point in the near future.Remember the name.So let me know what you think about that, Liverpool, two wingers.

Also, this is interesting.Man City are keen to sign Enzo Fernandes and could recoup much of Chelsea's 120 million asking price via the departures of Rodri and Reinders.

I mean, that just amazes me again.Another Dutch player heading off to Saudi.We've seen Somerville do it, and now Reinders is going to do it.Look, I always use Oscar and Ramirez at Chelsea.They did it in their mid -twenties.They went off to China.

They earned massive money.Saudi has a World Cup coming up.They're ambitious.I haven't got a problem with what they're trying to do.Realistically, it comes down to what you think of the player.I mean, somebody is offering you big money to fight, play snooker, play football in a country that's trying to be new in that sport, but doesn't really have a, you know, Champions League or anything like that.

People will always say they're going for the money, but Man City are looking like they'll literally get their money back.they spend £120m on Enzo Fernandes, they'll get that money back on Reinders and Rodri and they can afford it anyway.But what Ben Jacobs is saying is that there is a 5pm on Friday, so tomorrow deadline set by Chelsea for Enzo Fernandes.Now I've always felt that Enzo Fernandes would leave Chelsea.I think it was always looking like that would happen lots of Chelsea fans Wanting him to go and it looks like that that will happen But I've just realized one of my lights isn't on actually does add quite a little bit of a cinematic I don't know.Let me know what you thought that was accidental Do you want the light of the light back on tomorrow or not?

Let me know and but yeah, it looks like Rodri and Barcelona that's taking its time, but I think from Man City's point of view, it's about getting good transfer fees, which they always seem to do, and I'm sure they will do again.So Enzo Fernandes, Boadii, Anderson into that.

I mean, I actually asked this question.I'm going to ask it to you.Are Man City, without Rodri and Pep, going to fall off or are they going to challenge for the title?

Because if they go and challenge for the title, Does that not just show, and pardon the pun, does that not just show you what a relentless, well -oiled machine Man City are, that they can remove one of the best midfielders in the world, one of the best managers in the world, and still go and compete for the big prizes?I mean, Pep was brilliant, and Rodri is brilliant, but if they go and still challenge for those big prizes, it just shows you that, does it actually matter?Because the way Man City's run, they just relentlessly carry on and on and on.I think I'm split on Man City.I've got my Premier League predictions video coming out starting next week and I don't know where I'm going to put Man City.It's Arsenal vs Man City for the league and I'm tempted to go like I did last year with the niche view.

I said Arsenal would win it and a lot of people were like it'll be Liverpool.

Yeah, I don't know.I mean technically Man City should drop off.No pep.No Rodri But I do feel that they are still going to be a very, very good team.I still do think they will be.

In relation to Arsenal, though, some very interesting stuff coming in about Arsenal this morning.So Arsenal, obviously, we do not know what they're going to do with the Vinicius Junior money because that's there.But Galatasaray have submitted a 38 .4 million pound bid for Martinelli.That's coming in from Pletigo, so good source there.And also they're open to selling Zubamendi, which would recoup them about 70 million.Chelsea are looking at him as well.

Obviously, I think Xabi Alonso would be interested in that.And don't forget, Neto could be on the move from Chelsea as well to Arsenal or Man City.So we are going to get a huge amount of transfer activity in the next two and a half weeks.Strange?I wouldn't call it strange.I think it's the World Cup.

I think a lot of this business would have been done in July if the World Cup hadn't been there.And I think people having holidays later, pre -season tours, it's just settling down now, isn't it, in that last two weeks.But yeah, all sorts could happen.But it looks like, I mean, this is what happens when you're successful.If you're an Arsenal fan, you must be over the moon, you know, looking at the likes of Man City and Liverpool over the last few years when Arsenal were crap.Look at Arsenal now.

They're spending big money on players.They're trying to get people like Vinicius Jr.And then they're selling players they don't want anymore for good money, like 40, 50, 60, 70 million pounds.That's the sign of a good team when you're selling well as well as being a good team.So it looks like Arsenal will be active.We just don't know where.

I mean, they have been linked to Barcola, but I think he's set on Liverpool.So where are Arsenal looking at?I don't know.I don't know what Arsenal are going to look at.Maybe they'll go for Noosa from Leipzig.Maybe they will.

We'll have to wait and see.Buleba could be on the move to Newcastle.Yeah, we've heard about that.They apparently might test Brighton's resolve.Personally, I think there are a lot of good midfielders out there.Kamara at Monaco, Stiller at Leipzig.

Stuttgart and Miecza at Dortmund.Alex Scott.You know, there are some good midfielders out there that I think are better than Belaybers.So Newcastle need to spend wisely because they've obviously lost a few players themselves.But look, it's all starting to kick off.Let me know your thoughts.
