shocked. This is shocking.I cannot believe that this news has broken on the day of a Champions League final Liverpool and on a slot part ways. What are Liverpool doing?I cannot believe the way that Liverpool are operating at the moment.Such a prestigious club, such a rich history, such a brilliant Such a brilliant institution.
And suddenly, they find themselves in this mess.Suddenly they find themselves in a situation where they had the opportunity to sack Slot ages ago. They had the opportunity. They had the head start on everyone.Because Arne Slot's season went so wrong so quickly. It became apparent that Arne Slot was not the right man to lead Liverpool.
And the only people who seemed to think that he was the right man to lead Liverpool were the Liverpool hierarchy.Everybody else has now got their ducks in a row.Manchester United have made their decision. They've committed to Michael Carrick.Chelsea have made our decision. We have gone and got...
We have gone and we have got...Javi Alonso.
The fact that Javi Alonso is the Chelsea manager is such a terrible indictment of what's been going on at Liverpool. They have missed out on their main target. It's unbelievable that this is actually happening.I am honestly, honestly appalled. The fact that it has come to this stage is just a shocker.I'm honestly, I just can't believe that it is here.
I can't believe it's where we are.The fact that Liverpool have allowed themselves to get into this situation.Arnaslot, he did wonderful things in his first season. The way that he landed, he was a duck to water. He inherited that brilliant Jürgen Klopp side and he took it in his stride. He won the league, he won the league at Canter and he rediscovered, almost redefined the form of Mohamed Salah.
Now, fair play to him, he did very well there. But ever since then, everything has gone wrong.Ever since the summer, in fact, some Liverpool fans, some Liverpool fans who watch their games diligently will have told you that it actually went wrong sooner. They will have told you that it actually went wrong for Arnastadio.far sooner than the end of the season. Some would say that it started going wrong towards the end of last season.
So the clues were there. Now, I would say that Arnaud Slot had to leave Liverpool. And can I tell you why?Obviously, the performances weren't good enough.Obviously, the way that he set his team up wasn't good enough.Obviously, the substitutions were baffling.
And obviously, it had come to its end.But do you know why I felt like he wasn't the Liverpool manager? He didn't look like one.He didn't sound like one.He wasn't right to be the Liverpool manager.I think that you could say, if you look at the whole reasoning why Arnold Slot was sacked, only 20 % of it for me was football.
It was the conduct. When you think about being Liverpool manager, think about Liverpool Football Club, what do you think of immediately? You think of greatness, you think of history, you think of European success, you think of the love and the loyalty between the Kop and the manager, you think of all of those famous photos that are up in the Kop.You know, they make a real big deal out of their Liverpool managers, don't they? They make a real big deal out of the love and the loyalty that they demonstrate to their manager. You know, they love Raphael Benitez.
Regardless of him going to Chelsea or Everton, they love Raphael Benitez.Obviously, the spirit of Shankly will forever commemorate the brilliance of what they do.Bill Shankly did at that club. They genuinely do love their managers. And this just went so wrong. This just went so wrong.
You think about what you need to be the Liverpool manager.
Think about what Bob Paisley brought to that job.Think about what Bill Shankly brought to that job.
Think about what it takes to be Liverpool manager.It's a certain character.It's a certain characteristic.It's a certain charm.It's a certain confidence.It's a certain arrogance.
and Arneslot just didn't have it.Arneslot quite simply did not have it.And the way that he would speak, the way that he would speak in interview about being Liverpool manager, about what he expected of Liverpool.
You know, there was a moment.I'm not a Liverpool fan, right?I lived in Liverpool for a few years.when I was a student, but I'm not a Liverpool fan. When I was there, you can kind of feel the aura of the club.
You can feel the prestige of the club. You can feel the history of the club.It takes somebody spectacular. And Arna Slot's not that.Arna Slot is obviously not that. You think about the, the, the, what, I mean, I suppose fondly they would call, like, the Holy Trinity.
When they went Shankly into Paisley into Fagan. That era of Liverpool dominance, that era of Liverpool dominance, signifies what the Liverpool manager should be.

Get started freeI couldn't believe my ears.I was on TalkSport, and I had to react to this, and I was really scathing about Arnaud Slot, and I actually regretted it, what I said afterwards.I was really harsh.
But I listened to an interview where Arnaud Slot speaks about being the Liverpool manager, and bearing in mind Liverpool's history, the greed of Liverpool for silverware.
He was talking about Liverpool, and he basically said, the style of play is more important than trophies.
And you're like, mate, that's idiot speak. That is moron speak. That is absolute idiot.Hipster London.Hipster London idiot who wears those mad clog shoes and has some sort of tash and a statement sock and only drinks a flat white mate.Yeah, statistics.
It's that kind of burk. You know, the kind of person that loves stats and the kind of person that kind of revolves their footballing opinion around stats.Yeah, actually, we had more possession.Actually, our style of play is better. So you can't get away with that anywhere, in my opinion. But at Liverpool, you mad.
At Liverpool, an institution that is founded upon winning. An institution that mocks and derides anyone that doesn't embrace the culture of winning. You know, on the Kop, you will see a banner that says 1995.Do you know what that 1995 signifies?
It signifies the moment that Everton lost 1 -1 Silverware.Paul Rydout scoring against Manchester City.
If an Evertonian tried to tell a Liverpool fan we've got a better style of play, they would laugh. And Arnaud Slot conformed to that stereotype. If you spoke to Joe Fagan and started talking about the style of play, he would mock you.If you started talking to Bob Paisley about the style of play, he would mock you.If you started talking about, to Kenny Douglas, to Graham Soonest, to John Barnes, to Ian Rush, to Peter Beardsley, about style of play being equally important, I think it is absurd. So when I say that it's the correct decision for Arnold Slot to go, when I say that he deserves to be sacked, it is 20 % what he did as manager, 80 % the man.
Sounds harsh, but I stand by it.And I've just seen here, 85 % of you think that the decision was right. So I'm glad to see that we are on the same page here.
I'm glad to see that We do chime with one another. Can I ask you a favour, by the way?If you're new around here, over at the World Cup, I'm going to be going live loads, and I love having these chats.Would you do me a favour? Please click subscribe.Really helps me out.
If you would be kind enough to click that subscribe button, thank you so much.Going to go into the Super Chat now.It says, the board didn't rate Alonso, so you waited until another club took him, so you can sack Slott without the fan pressure of hiring Xabi.Dangerous.The girl is so dangerous. It's a bad move.
It's a bad move.Whether or not your theory is correct, it might be correct. But I think that Xabi Alonso should have been interviewed by Liverpool.Whether they decide that he's not the man for the job is a different thing. But there should have been a vacancy in the Liverpool hot seat and Xabi Alonso should have spoken to the club.I think Liverpool actually in terms of courtesy, should have spoken to Xabi Alonso.
I sometimes think people forget what an amazing player he was for Liverpool. There was a time, when I was going to football regularly, when the Kop was singing,Liverpool having the best midfield in the world. There was a time when I was going to football regularly, when Liverpool fans were singing a tune to the famous Spanish anthem.I think it's Spanish anyway. You know La Bamba?
They were singing about Xabi Alonso in what I believe to be a Spanish song, tune, because of the love for Xabi Alonso. They were singing about having the best midfield in the world.
We've got the best midfield in the world. We've got Xabi Alonso, Mohamed Sissoko, Gerard Amas, Gerard Nou.They were saying they had the best midfield in the world, of which one quarter of it was Xabi Alonso.
He was unreal.Absolutely unreal. Now, when you have contributed to the history of the club in the way that Xabi Alonso has, I would say that he deserves an interview.Whether you meet him and decide that he's not the man for the job, fine. But I tell you what, the pressure will be on that board now to get it right.Quite frankly, they can't get it wrong.
They cannot get this wrong. If Xabi Alonso, can you imagine?if Xabi Alonso ends up winning a league at Chelsea.I mean, it sounds far -fetched, and it probably is far -fetched.I don't believe that that will happen. But equally, we've seen stranger things occur, haven't we?
If Xabi Alonso ends up taking Chelsea to a title, to into Europe and doing well, winning a European Cup at Chelsea, winning a league at Chelsea, winning silverware at Chelsea, Liverpool better get this right.Liverpool better get this appointment right. It really, really is that important.because they have now given themselves a major, major problem.I'm going back into the Super Chat here. It's from John Blackshaw, who says, I'm so happy that he's left.

Get started freeYou'll never walk alone, Rory. That's the feeling that I'm getting from Liverpool fans.A couple of fellas that I was at university with have been in a WhatsApp group we're in, our old Real Politik football team. They're saying the same thing.Old Cozy says, I think Canate not signing was the last straw.Yeah, I mean, you wonder if the two are linked, don't you?
Reuben Amaroom is available, top guy for the job, says Goldio.Butter Knight says, I'm at Anfield now, got the news, went on the pitch.Wow.Wow, that's one of those moments, isn't it?I applaud Slott for winning the league, but it was time to go.Lost a squad and it felt so disconnected for the fans.
Is Ireola the guy?Look, I think Ireola is a class act.I think he's a brilliant manager.I think he's top draw. And I think that Liverpool should 100 % be considering Ireola. And Donner -Ireola is the main man. I rate him so highly.
The only difference is, The difference between Javi Alonso and Irayola is one has done it at the top level. And what Irayola has done, I don't want this to sound snide, and I'm not being biased towards Javi Alonso. What Irayola has done at Bournemouth is mind -blowing.Losing their defence the way that they did last year.Losing Kepa Rizabalaga to Arsenal, a team that are in the Champions League final.Losing Houston to Real Madrid, a team that are European royalty.
Losing Kerkes to Liverpool, who had just won the league.Unbelievable that he has managed to redefine his back line and get Bournemouth into Europe.Taking Bournemouth into Europe is arguably the biggest managerial achievement of the season. It's more impressive than Arteta winning a league. It's more impressive than keeping Brentford in the league. It's more impressive than...
I'm trying to think of any of the other major, major achievements.Areola on some definition, maybe Glasner winning European silverware, maybe that. But what I would say is, what Areola has done has blown my mind.I think he is top tier. The question mark that none of us know the answer to is doing it and doing it well at a club like Bournemouth is very different to doing it and doing it and doing it well at a club like Liverpool.
They're just different. There was a time when Graham Potter was seen as being a very upwardly mobile manager.A brilliant manager who had done the business at a small club and was ready for Chelsea. The job ate him up.That won't happen to Xabi Alonso at Liverpool.Xabi Alonso can go toe -to -toe with any footballer in that Liverpool squad.
He can go toe -to -toe with any footballer in world football. You think you're a good footballer?Did you win a World Cup with Spain? You think you're a good footballer? You know if anyone starts giving it the big 'un?You know if anyone starts not necessarily respecting the manager?
Don't give it the big 'un, I won a European Cup here.Don't give it the big 'un, I won a World Cup.I want two European Cups.Don't give it a big and I was part of a Spanish side that went bang bang bang So you can't do that to Xabi Alonso the way that you could to Irayola.
Irayola is a class manager There's no two ways about it.And now Xabi Alonso isn't available I think Irayola is the man for the job, but going into the Liverpool job is huge I think the Liverpool job is probably the biggest managerial if you rank managerial jobs if you rank them overall Where does Liverpool rank? Some would argue the Real Madrid is the biggest job in the world.Manchester United are up there, Liverpool are up there, Barcelona are up there, Bayern Munich is up there.Make it bigger.Maybe the Brazil national manager, national team manager.
Any clubs I've missed out, AC Milan and clubs like that, certainly at one point, but probably not now with all due respect. The Paris Saint -Germain job, Luis Enrique is the best manager in the world, Paris Saint -Germain.So, at a very conservative estimate, the Liverpool job in world football is the top five job.Does doing well at Bournemouth justify you getting the job?I'm inclined to say it does. But what would have made more sense is Ireola gets a Chelsea job, Xabi Alonso gets a Liverpool job.
Xabi Alonso is a man who has just managed Real Madrid. He's aware of pressure. He's a man.
His kind of name is etched into the fabric of Liverpool Football Club.I can't believe that Liverpool have made this mistake.
It feels like...I did a video on this channel. You'll see it on this channel.I did a video yesterday with Adeola Depo.
Tribal, dedicated, partisan, kind of aggressive Liverpool fan.And he's really going for the board, he says it's mistake after mistake.
Trent Alexander -Arnold leaves for 10 million quid, a token 10 million quid.Andy Robertson, free. The amount of players that Liverpool have lost for free. And then Konate, Konate goes for free. This just feels to me just like another error.Liverpool should have probably known that Arnolds slot was done when.
Now, I was in, I'll tell you what, a month ago, one month ago, I had the fortune of having a drink with Paddy Pimlet, right, Liverpool fan, devoted scouser, right?I had a drink with Paddy Pimlet, and a charming guy.It was an honour to be in his company.I met him, I met his wife.I had a really good time.Quite boozy, but I had a really good time.
Lovely people. All he really wants to do is talk about football. It's amazing, right?Because I want to talk about him.I want to talk about him.

Get started freeI was like, mate, you know, you're fighting in Vegas. What's going on?And all he wanted to do was talk about football. All he wanted to do was talk about Liverpool.
He was saying that it fell over for slot from that point. That was that was six weeks ago He said it fell over from two months before that.So liverpool have had a three and a half month head start on Replacing their manager liverpool have had a three and a half month head start on working out their maneuverings How have they been caught slipping like this and the timing of this is so transparent? They've tried to bury the news champions league final day. It's a day to bury the news, isn't it?Because tomorrow's headline paper When the news comes out, when the news articles come out Sunday morning, it's obviously about the Champions League final.
Liverpool have been very crafty here. They know what they're doing. And when you think about the running of the club, when you think about the way that Liverpool run, time and time again it feels like there's an error.
Trent Alexander -Arnold leaving for £10 million is ridiculous.Giving Mohamed Salah all of that money, at the time I was arguing it was the right thing to do.But it's not my job to know that his form's going to drop off. It's not my fault to know. How many players are going to leave for free? How is Jarrell Quantzer in an England side and they've got...
Jarrell Quantzer, who you've let go, is in an England side and you've got Leone and Jacquet and there's major jeopardy. It does feel like Liverpool are getting it wrong. And over the years, think about what made Liverpool so good.
Trent Alexander -Arnold, Andy Robertson, Konate van Dijk, Alisson.
Van Dijk could be the only one left next season. And he's 35, 34, 35.He's the only one left.So it's getting to the stage now where I think that Liverpool just have to get this right. They just have to get this right.Fitz in the super chat asked something very interesting.
And he says, do you think that Liverpool will try and get Luis Enrique? Now look, Irayola has been named as a leading contender. We know that Ireola is the frontrunner. And I imagine, or maybe I'm giving Liverpool, the board, too much credit here, but I imagine that Liverpool know where they're going with this. But the kind of manager that I believe Liverpool should be trying to get is Luis Enrique.
I have ultimate respect for Antonio Arreola. What he has built at Bournemouth is exceptional. It is the template for brilliance. It is actually unrivalled for brilliance in the Premier League. He is the greatest manager in the Premier League if you want to do a pound -for -pound conversation. But who does want to do that?
Liverpool are Liverpool for a reason.Being a good Bournemouth manager is neither here nor there.Liverpool are a club of excellence. They should be excellence from the top down.Excellence should be sought out from everyone.Demand excellence.
That's why they were so good when Gerrard was there.Excellence.Demanding the standards.Jamie Carragher demanding the standards. We're up there. What Liverpool should do is they should be bullies.
They should be bullies. When you are Liverpool, you throw the ball.around, you throw your history around, you throw your iconic status around, you throw your legends around. You start talking about Steven Gerrard, you start talking about Graeme Souness, you start talking about Alan Hansen, you start talking about Luis Suarez, you start talking about Fernando Torres in that era, you start talking about Xabi Alonso, and you go and you get the best that you can get.You say to Luis Enrique, you have already won, hopefully, back -to -back European trophies. You have retained a European Cup.
Do you want to do what Eric Cantona did and take a trophy with you to another club?Do you?Liverpool are a Champions League club and I think Liverpool, correct me if I'm wrong here, but I believe Liverpool are always capable of winning the European Cup.It's just kind of like a conditioning that happens, I think, to English football fans.I just believe that Liverpool will win in Europe.regardless of the manager, regardless of the circumstances, regardless of the opposition, I'm conditioned to believe that Liverpool win in Europe.
That's how it's been all my life, right?I just think Liverpool win in Europe, right?
I remember them singing about when Emmeline lifted it high, it lit up the Roman sky.
I remember Robbie Fowler having an argument with Man Utd fans. This is how long ago it was.Robbie Fowler going like that.4 -2 to Man Utd.4 -2.And I remember the score was like 1 -0 at the time.
I went to my dad, I was like, why is Robbie Fowler going 4 -2 to the Stretford end?And it was because he was saying four European Cups to two.Liverpool in Europe.Liverpool are England's representative of Europe. They are Britain's representative of Europe.
What Liverpool should do is play on that.Play on that. How many finals have they lost?Like, we're saying they got a lot of European Cups. They've lost a couple of finals recently as well. They're not a million miles of double digits if those had gone a different way.

Get started freeSo I think what they should be doing is talking to Luis Enrique, I really do.To go back to that super chat there from Fitz, that is what I think they should do.Go and get the best manager in the world.Your Liverpool Football Club for God's sake.Just go and get the best manager in the world.Like if I was on the board of Liverpool, and maybe this is arrogant, I don't know.
I'd just be like, what?Who?Iriola's wicked. But Iriola is wicked for Tottenham.Iriola is wicked for Everton. And if he does well at Tottenham, then we'll get him.
If he wins silverware at Tottenham, then we'll get him.If he does really well somewhere else, then we'll get him.If he leaves Bournemouth and he goes to Juve and he wins the Scudetto, then we'll get him.But today, who's a better manager?Really simple question.Who's a better manager?
Luis Enrique or Andoni Iriola?
And what are Liverpool?Liverpool are a Champions League club, they're England's most successful club, they're England's most successful European club. That's where I would see it.That is really where I would see it.And also, you've got to remember, right, this is where I kind of disagreed with Adi.I had an argument with Adi on the Liverpool video that we did on this channel yesterday.
He was kind of moaning. He was talking about the state of the squad and he was saying how threadbare it is and how much money they need to spend and how reliant they're going to be on these new signings like Xhaka or Leone finding form or whatever else. And I was like, no, Adi, I don't think I agree with you.Yeah, it didn't go well last year. But Florian Wurz was the signing of the summer at the time.I know history hasn't been kind to that prediction, but Florian Wurz was going to work.
The new manager comes in, Luis Enrique lights a fire under Florian Wurz.He gets Alexander Isak fit and firing, linking up with Wurz, linking up with Ekotike. Then you look at the back line.Kyrgz, I'm so bored of the criticism of Kyrgz.Kyrgz is wicked.Kyrgz is a wicked player, right?
He was the best left back in the league that year. And I don't think he had a bad season at all last year.I think he's a really good player.Right?I think they need to spend some money.I think they really do need to sign midfielders.
They've missed out on too many midfielders too many times.Like, Liverpool needed to sign Bellingham when it looked like they were going to sign Bellingham, but they didn't.They needed to sign Zoubamendi when it looked like they were going to sign Zoubamendi, but they didn't.They needed to sign Caicedo. They needed to sign Lavia. There have been a lot of midfielders that Liverpool missed out on and they never really replaced, they never really signed anyone.
They kind of redefined Ryan Gravenberch.Very clever.Credits a slot in that. But I think what they need to do is go and spend in the middle.Go on.But I think that is the kind of manoeuvre and equally I don't think it's difficult to make this Liverpool team look brilliant.
I could do it quick.Do you want me to do it?Watch this. This is off the top of my head by the way.I think if Liverpool sort out their spine, so Konate's gone, so you replace Konate with Lacroix.Lacroix's a good player, right?
Or Milenkovic, or Murillo, or Premier League -proven centre -half, who can do a lot of the rugged work for Van Dijk.In the way that Chelsea...Do you remember when John Terry was 34, 35?Gary Cahill.Liverpool go and sign Gary Cahill. And the version of Gary Cahill can be Lacroix.
So that's one, right? That's one in the bag.I think they need to sign a right -back.Who that is, I don't know.depending on the system they want to play.I've always rated that Munoz.
Always rated him.Premier League proven. The copybook that Manchester United employed when they signed Umberto and Kunya.Go and sign Premier League proven.Just a winner. It's just a win.
Lacroix in.Lacroix in.A right back in.Somebody might know somebody better than me, but a right back in.Central Midfield is so easy. You can zump.
Unless Elliot Anderson has signed like a pre -contract deal with With Man City.I know this Man City -Eliot Anderson thing, it keeps coming up.It's almost a rite of passage.
But Liverpool are ten times a bigger club than Man City.Liverpool have ten times the history of Man City.Liverpool are capable of spending.Like, FSG have money. So, see if there's a world where, like, Elliot Anderson's mustard, isn't he?So good.
Everything you want from a central midfielder, in my opinion, is Elliot Anderson.I love the bloke.I really do.I think he has a little bit of everything. He plays with an edge. He's got an eye for a goal.

Get started freeHe's physical. He cares. He's passionate. He's wonderful on the ball. He's technically gifted. He would fit in at Anfield and imagine how the Kop would react to a player like him.
Imagine how the elevation of that midfield with Elliot Anderson in it and imagine what the Kop would do, right? So that's, that's another signing right in the heart of the middle. And then, you know, you keep Jones, you get Sir Bozlai back in his rightful position, Graven, but suddenly it looks like a very different team. And then I guess this is what you employ a top manager for.
Your, your responsibility is to make sure that Alexander Isak and Ekotike are the best front two in the league, which they can be.Like that sounds a huge task, but I don't think it is.Like Ekotike played up front in a two with Marmouche at Frankfurt.
You just do that. You get Alexander Isak and Mahmoud in the same side.I think that team that I've just created there.
I think it is Excellent.I've just seen a super chat by the way from Harry Lewis says Coyote.I think he was brilliant for Brentford I think it's a really good shout from you there really good shout So do you see what I mean?
So so yesterday when I was kind of arguing with Addy in that video Addy was arguing. It's like Liverpool. We need to spend more money. It's not going well.We haven't spent well We've got these problems. We've got big gaps in the squad.
We're letting players leave for free. We're not turning enough profit Everything's going wrong. No, no, there are problems But it's not a massive tweak, is it?It's not a massive tweak to make it brilliant. And if you make it brilliant and then marry up that brilliant squad with a manager like Luis Enrique, I feel like that could be the answer. However, it's important to note that Richard Hughes appointed Iraeola at Bournemouth before he went to Liverpool at 2024.
So there is a relationship there. So the fact that Iraeola is looking like the frontrunner is basically definitely born out of some sort of sense and reasoning can I ask you a massive favor by the way would you please click subscribe if you are watching this and you haven't subscribed
Really helps me out.
I'm honoured that you would come and help me dissect what all this means for the Premier League next season.Fascinating Premier League race, isn't it?Fascinating. But please do click subscribe.Just imagine what the Premier League is going to be like next year.Ireola, potentially, at Liverpool.
Oh my God, do you know what I've just thought? If you've got Luis Enrique, he lands at Liverpool and he becomes favourite to win the league, doesn't he?Because Mikel Arteta is the best manager in the league at the moment. That's a fact.I mean, Luis Enrique just lands at Liverpool and goes, right, Premier League in the bag.
Because he'd be looking around, he'd be looking around at other teams, he'd be looking around at Chelsea with Valonzo and he wouldn't be intimidated.Like, it's an amazing season next year because at the moment, Mikel Oteta is the frontrunner. He's the standout candidate to win the league.
Arsenal are the standout candidates to retain it.But he's not known as being, like, he's so young in his career, he's 40 -odd.So somebody like Luis Enrique comes in, Liverpool get this right, All of a sudden, it looks so different.
It really does.I am amazed at this news.I really am.So, I'm going to go back into the Super Chat now.It says, our manager will be Enrique.PSG win, he goes, says Vasim.
I mean, I think I agree with you in as much as that's what Liverpool should be doing.
Liverpool should be attacking that kind of approach.but it does feel like all the noise is around Irayola.Like they have sacked Slott and Irayola is obviously the favourite and I rate Irayola a lot.I really do.He is now obviously a free agent, he's left Bournemouth but I just don't understand how they don't go a little bit bigger. They don't go a little bit more aggressive.
You know, I've just seen here as well that Liverpool are linked with the coach of Lons and the coach ofHonus and Sage.Liverpool.That's the kind of appointment that I expect to read Brentford are making. The guys are from Lons.Do you feel like football clubs don't have enough arrogance in who they are and what they represent?
Liverpool are one of the most prestigious names in world football. You're not taking the Lons manager. You take the European champion. You know, when we had arrogance, when we were serious, Porto win the European Cup.We just go and take their manager.Carlo Ancelotti, serial European Cup winner, we go and get him.

Get started freeIt didn't work out, but Luis Felipe Scolari wins a World Cup with Brazil, bang, he's our manager.I just don't get it, why Liverpool, why Liverpool even considering doing anything other than just going for the very best, the absolute top tier.It doesn't make sense to me, but it's Arne's, Arne Slot, it's Arne Slot.I think it's the correct decision, because by the end it had gone so wrong for Arne Slot, hadn't it?He was out of his depth. His ramblings were not in keeping with the traditions of Liverpool Football Club.
He had made, undoubtedly, a pig's ear of the job and I think it was correct that he goes.Liverpool Football Club are a football club that pride themselves on that unilateral, partisan, aggressive support that they pledge to their manager.Like, you know some clubs are booers.Chelsea are a booer, we're a booer, I'm a big booer. You know, if we...Like, we booed Rafael Benitez before he even managed for us.
I said that we should have booed Liam Rossinia before he managed the game for us.We boo quick.Scolari, booed.Avram Grant, booed.Liam Rossinia, booed.Calum McFarlane, booed.
We boo.In the history, Ian Porterfield, booed. We don't like managers, we don't like play, we boo our own team.Liverpool, to their credit, is similar to Manchester United here, actually.
They do not do that.and even Arnaslott was being booed. There was a game wasn't there quite recently when he took off and Gamoa and you're like mate the Liverpool, the Kop were furious The Kop were absolutely furious and you can understand you can understand why it did feel like he had got it So so wrong, but this is a big day. This is a big day Liverpool have sacked Arnold Slot and Dona Iriola is the favorite to take over for me It's not the move. It's not the manoeuvre that they should be doing. They should be going for the jugular.
They are Liverpool Football Club for crying out loud.Go and get the best.Set the tone at the very best.Let me know your thoughts.I am amazed by this news.I really am.
