Sometimes talk is just that.

It's talk.Proving can be much more difficult.It's one thing to say you've got a great agreement to end the war in Iran, but Trump has found it's more complicated to convince people you've got a great agreement to end the war in Iran.Think about if somebody tries to convince you there's a better, bigger apartment or house.down the road.You can believe them, but you'll have a better sense once they unlock the door and show you the apartment if it's bigger and it's better.

And right now, Trump has not unlocked the door and shown copies of this memorandum of understanding that would end the war in Iran.And he couldn't pinpoint when he's going to do so when he was asked about it by reporters during his travel to Europe.

Mr. President, when will the text of the MOU be released?

I think pretty soon.I would say, I mean, I want it to be released because it's a very powerful document.It's not like the Obama document, which was just a terrible document.This is a very powerful document and I want it to be released.So probably pretty soon.I would say after sometime after Friday.

Because the street opens completely.It's open now, but it opens completely.We'll have all the mines knocked out for the most part.We have a lot of lanes right now already.Mr. President, so I think I think sometime I think sometime in the very near future, you know.

Raising the stakes further today, Trump apparently will meet with Vladimir Zelensky while in Europe.There's a conversation caught on camera between French President Emmanuel Macron and Zelensky, in which Zelensky appeared to say he was having difficulty arranging a one on one with Trump.

And how long do you stay here?Yeah.Interesting that I will be tomorrow here.Because I have to go to 18th to Brussels.That's why I will need all the...Because I need to come to Brussels.

So first, do you have bilaterals being organized?with President Trump?With me and...No, with Trump, yes.He's there, but he won't be with me.He can't play his part.

How long before a missile goes off again?Because this has been the shittiest ceasefire in history.They've been calling it a ceasefire for, I don't know, over a month now while they continue to lob missiles back and forth and blow things up.I think it's really important to understand and underscore that you can't trust anything that Trump says.And you can't trust anything that the Iranian regime says.This is the really difficult part of where we are right now.

For the Iranian people, who, by the way, I will remind people, we haven't heard from at all in the last four months, right?We will know when there's peace and stability in Iran because the Iranian people will tell us.And we haven't heard a lot from them right now because they can't trust what their government is saying and a government that wants to kill them.And they can't trust what our president says.and a guy who's killed a lot of them.So I think we're in this nether region where your work is so important.

Anybody who's speaking truth to power, independent media is going to be absolutely critical.And you got to remember, we have 50 ,000 or so troops in the region.40 percent of our Navy is there.And anything that's happening right now is very fragile.

And Trump drew some comparison, a contrast he attempted between the deal he's cutting and the one cut during the Obama administration to curb Iran's nuclear powers or nuclear potential.And in doing so, he may have emphasized something he didn't want to, that it appears there could be billions, if not tens of billions of dollars going to Iran under his deal.First, take a listen to Trump.

D.Vance, who is making the rounds trying to champion this deal.

We already signed the deal digitally yesterday, and there's been no money released.And that won't change, George.Again, this is a performance based thing.If we see the Iranians making, for example, taking action to eliminate their stockpile of enriched material, then yes, sanctions relief will follow.If we see the Iranians taking action to allow the kind of verification regime that we need to see to know that they're not going to build a nuclear weapon, yes, sanctions relief will follow.So this is really about walking down a pathway here where the Iranians will be welcomed into the world economy if they do the right thing.

And George, we have to remember, their economy is fundamentally destroyed.Their nuclear program is fundamentally destroyed.If they don't do the right things, if they don't allow the verification regime, they're never going to have the money to rebuild their nuclear program to begin with.So this is fundamentally a win -win for the American people.build their nuclear program to begin with.some misreporting about that.

I don't know where it comes from.Where I suspect that it comes from, Jake, is what you're going to expect is that certain elements within the Iranian system, certain hardliners in particular, they're going to overemphasize, in an effort to sell it to certain domestic populations, they're going to overemphasize what Iran gets from the bargain without ever articulating the things that Iran has to give up.in order to get those benefits.To be very clear, this agreement contemplates a very significant sanctions relief package for the Iranian people that transforms how they interact with the world and with the region.But they only get that benefit if they meet their obligations under the agreement.So I would caution everybody to be skeptical of what certain propaganda elements within the regime are saying.

What really bothers me and frustrates me and is unexpected when the American media literally picks up.Talking points and propaganda from the RAGC that has no support in the text of the agreement that we've actually Negotiated and no basis in reality.This is good for the American people The Iranians don't get a dime unless they behave and change their behavior And this means that Iran will never have a nuclear weapon.

So they don't get a dime Do they ever get an American dime a taxpayer dollar?

No, so so number one First of all, they never get a dime of American taxpayer money ever full stop not even close what we have said is is there's a lot of economic benefit in the United States relieving a lot of sanctions and welcoming them back into the world economy.There's a lot of benefit there, not American money, but there's a lot of economic prosperity that can flow from that.What the president said to them is we want you to be a successful country, but for you to be a successful country, you've got to give up on this threat.You've got to give up on this desire to have a nuclear weapon.And if you do that, the United States is willing to have a much better relationship.

Back to Paul Rykoff, who argues that There's all kinds of trouble here, that it's less than clear just how open and free the Strait of Hormuz is going to be, if it's open and free at all.

that may claim the same cause as Iran, or may just want to disrupt the state of Hormuz, or may hate Trump, or for any other number of reasons, that still have some significant firepower or enough to intimidate a ship, which is really all you need, we are still going to be in for, I think, a very unstable summer.And the deal itself, is a shitty deal.I mean, what we're hearing already, the idea that the regime will still remain in power is contrary to what the one of the objectives that Trump set out in the list of four or five that they put forward.And there's no guarantee that they won't have nukes.And we haven't secured, you know, the enriched uranium and the other threat that they said remains.So, you know, don't believe anything Trump says.

I think he's riding high off of the UFC last night.He won declared victory no matter what.
