MAGA Mike INSTANTLY PANICS as FLOODGATES OPEN on RETURN!!!
Maga Mike Johnson is back to work finally after taking a massive vacation after Congress was in recess. He's back and the house is in session starting again soon and Maga Mike is absolutely panicking. Watch as he tries to run away from reporters as he's asked about Donald Trump making social media posts of Trump saying that he's AI Jesus or that AI images of Donald Trump is Jesus Here's a maga Mike says let's play this clip
I talked to the president about it as soon as I saw it and Told him that I don't think it was being received in the same way. He intended it He agreed and he pulled it down. That was the right thing to do. He explained how he saw that and I don't think he thought it was sacrilegious at all.
So do you think you should back down?
I think he showed great respect to others by removing it.
And as the House and the Senate come back into session, these MAGA Republicans are cheering on higher gas prices, everybody. You've got MAGA Republican senators showing up and saying, $4 gas, $5 gas. The key thing is we've obliterated Iran. Really, we've obliterated them.
They control the straight of removes, but watch what the MAGA Republican senators are saying.
Play this clip.
We're the leading producer of oil in the world. We're exporting more than we're importing. We're not standing in lines play this clip. So I'm sorry the gas prices are going up but help is on his way and your national security Yes is even more important than your pocketbook
I got another maggot Republican senator for you Rick Scott saying all the government does is mess up your life Government is always the problem, dude Your government Trump is government y'all control all of the branches It doesn't have to be this endless cycle of you using government to harm people. There's a way to uplift and support but go on, MAGA Republican Rick Scott, who was involved in the largest Medicaid and
Medicare fraud, criminal scam and scheme in United States history at that time. Play this
clip.
I mean, what Mondami is doing is, is, is great for Florida. It's horrible for the people play this clip. All right, so MAGA Mike and his MAGA goons in Congress not doing a great job. All right, so what does Donald Trump do? All right, send out Kevin Hassett. So the Trump regime sends out their national economic advisor, Kevin Hassett, to try to clear everything up. And he's like, I get it.
I understand that those members of Congress and senators are saying that the gas price is going up. He's like, but look, there's good news. There's silver lining. You know what it is? The oil companies are making a killing. The oil companies are making so much damn money right now. Here's what he says here. Play this clip.
But while it's very frustrating to go with the pump and see what the price of gasoline looks like, that the benefit for oil producers and workers in those industries is significant enough that the GDP effect in the US is much smaller.
Now what about MAGA Republican Senator Tim Scott? What's he gonna offer us? Here's what he has to say, play this clip.
Now.
Are you gonna be able to message all of this, Senator, before the midterm elections? I mean, you've got a message that national security is a priority. You've also got a message that national security is a priority. You've also got a message. Your affordability calls in the face of oil prices that are up 50 percent in the last month.
Well, they're still lower than they were under president Biden. So that's good. News. Number one. Yes. Affordability will be sold. But number two, the gas prices are coming down. Number three, we can thank president Trump and Republicans for doing both.

Get started freeSenator. Great to see you this morning. And then you have Chris Wright, Donald Trump's energy secretary. And he's like, yeah, gas prices today are over $4 a gallon. But see, he uses the same talking points there by Tim Scott, still cheaper than Biden. Biden, Biden, Biden, Biden. Okay. You know, Biden hasn't been in office for a really long time. Your whole promise was that you were going to lower prices and they're going up here.
Play this clip right here. Yes. Look, look, we, we have gasoline prices today over $4 a gallon, still a dollar less than they were in the Biden administration. And we're ending a 47 year conflict with Iran. So this is the road to more secure and lower long term energy supplies, but it does mean higher prices today probably means higher prices for a few more weeks. But I'm proud of President Trump to have the courage to take on just a growing problem with Iran, not just growing for peace and stability, but growing risk to energy resources coming out of that region. Soon they'd
have nuclear weapons and a massive missile arsenal and no one would be able to take them down. Proud of the president's actions, does cause a few weeks of dislocation to the American economy, but we're going to get through
it and get to a much better place afterwards. I wrote. And even the Fox hosts are saying, gosh, everything's so expensive, we can't afford anything. Let's play this clip.
Let me think.
Gosh, everything is so expensive. And what happens when you have a child is no longer you buying things for yourself. Everything goes to that child
and you think about them constantly.
And now I wanna bring in Keisha Lance Bottoms, the former mayor of Atlanta. You also were the senior advisor to former President Biden as the director of the Office of Public Engagement. Of course, a candidate for Georgia governor, and we're seeing all of these massive swings
in these elections right now. So people are gonna be very focused on this Georgia governor's race. Even a lot of MAGA people are saying, watch that Georgia's governor's race, it could swing blue and people think that you could be the person. So we're looking forward to any route
with the new book. So you're pretty busy. The book is called the rough side of the mountain. It's out April 21st and pre-orders are available right now. So let's talk about it all. But I think I want to talk about first, just what's going on in this country right now, because you know a state like Georgia better than anybody. And you've seen Georgia as basically the swing state. It's got two Democratic senators. It's got a Republican governor. I know you're hoping to change that right now. And we've seen these massive over-performances by Democrats in election after election, frankly,
starting at the beginning of Donald Trump's tenure, if you want to call it this bizarre president's dangerous and unlawful criminal presidency. And right now we're seeing these swings even get more dramatic. Are you seeing even bigger changes in Georgia?
I mean, when you have Marjorie Taylor Greene saying that Donald Trump needs to be removed, invoke the 25th Amendment. And I think yesterday she called him the anti-Christ as well. You know, I think there may be changes, but you're seeing it closer than I am.
Yeah, we are. And even in Marjorie Taylor Greene's district, when you saw that shift, I'm not one that normally celebrates losses, but when you saw that Sean Harris came or closed that gap in her district when he was just on the ballot a couple of weeks ago, 12-point difference in Marjorie Taylor Greene's district between a Republican and a Democrat, that's huge.
And we are seeing these shifts across the state. Last November, we elected two Democrats to the Public Service Commission. That's a really big deal because it hadn't been done in nearly 30 years. And now there's an opportunity for us to flip the governor's seat. And I'm really excited about the campaign and the momentum that we are seeing across the state. And Republicans are really afraid. They've already put $44 million into Georgia or they've committed 44 million to Georgia
to take out Senator Ossoff, I'm sorry. So there's a lot going on in the state. All eyes will be on Georgia again. And it's an opportunity, not just for us to flip the governor's seat, but also the House, hopefully.
You know, a lot of people nationally got to know you a bit better during the horrors of the first Trump regime with you standing up to him during the COVID pandemic and you standing up to him as he provoked tensions and made things, you know, far worse than an already, you know, very difficult and challenging situation. So you know how to
manage and lead in crisis. And so, you know, I'm just wondering about your reflections in the moment we're in right now, because here we are again with this Trump regime and it's crisis after crisis and manufactured crisis after manufactured crisis where it's just ruling by chaos. You know, that's where I think people are sick of it, regardless of your political party, it doesn't have to be this way of just constant chaos. And also, I think it's resulting in bad outcomes. I think that's an understatement where this chaos, whatever
you even want to call it, is resulting in America being weaker, allies moving away, America shrinking. And it's deeply problematic. So talk to us about that. Because to me, there's just a leadership issue right here that should be bipartisan.

Get started freeYeah, it should be. And what's happening when you have Trump in the White House is it creates this trickle down effect of anxiety, of just overall fear and concern, quite frankly, of what the future holds. When I was mayor of Atlanta for three years under the first Trump administration, quite frankly, of what the future holds. When I was mayor of Atlanta for
three years, under the first Trump administration, for example, during the family separation crisis, I made the decision to close our city jail to ice because we didn't want to be complicit in what was happening regarding immigration. We ended a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract in states and cities across the country ended up following suit. We also, I threatened to pull our local police officers
who were assigned to the federal task force if they didn't allow our officers to wear body cameras. The Trump DOJ ended up changing their policy. So give these examples to say he he creates chaos. He brings uncertainty to just your daily existence as a leader. But you are empowered to fight back, and that's what we need in this moment. We're gonna need leaders who are willing to
step up to fight back to do things that may be uncon moment. We are going to need leaders who are willing to step up to fight back, to do things that may be unconventional. We are seeing that already across the country. And I think that's the momentum that we need to take into this election season. I can say under the first Trump administration, there were a couple of reasonable people in the White House that you could at least get on the telephone. I don't know that those people exist in this Trump 2.0, but we're going to have to elect leaders like me who aren't afraid to push back
and also willing to do things that haven't been done before in order to stand up on behalf of our communities.
You know, and leaders who I think aren't afraid to discuss kind of our shared humanity for the short time we all live on this earth together, what it means to coexist and interact as human beings and to sometimes look past the gamification of politics and focus on why do we even have a body politic
to begin with, because it's supposed to deal with making people's lives better. And I think that's one of the things that you cite for inspiring you to write this book, The Rough Side of the Mountain. I mean, you talk about how, you know,
not revealing too much here, but this is what you say in the book. So I'm quite, you know, where you talk about, here I am in my early fifties, I had this great political career. I was mayor of Atlanta. I worked in the White House. I worked in an administration. And I'm reflecting on my life in general, you know, talking about my dad, the loss of his life, his drug abuse earlier on in his life. What did that mean to me?
Deeply personal things that impacted you that are experienced by lots of people, you know, as well, and not shying away from talking people, you know, as well and not shying away from talking about, you know, these things because ultimately talking about our shared humanity, to me, that's ultimately what's going to cut across party lines, not talking about, ah, the Democrat and the Republican and this personality. To me, the cult of personality kind of brings us in a downward spiral, but the shared humanity,
I think, uplifts. And to me, that's one of the messages that I took out of the rough side of the mountain.
Well, thank you for that. And you're absolutely right. I think for me, it was realizing you don't have to be perfect to lead. And it's okay to show who you are and be authentic in who you are,
because at the end of the day, people are looking for people who understand them and who aren't judgmental, but saying this is where we're gonna meet everybody, where they are, and then hopefully work together to take each other for there.
So it was really cathartic to write this book. And I was really thankful that I had a great therapist with me as I wrote it because I did unpack a lot. I did talk about my dad, Major Lance, who was this great R&B singer
who gave Elton John his start in music, his professional start, and the struggles that he faced and how it impacted our family. I talk about my infertility journey, my adoption journey for my four beautiful kids.
I talk about a lot of things, the inappropriate touching of a neighbor, my eating disorder, just things that I just never talked about publicly. And quite frankly, many of these things I hadn't processed personally,
but it was good to be able to write about it and to be able to share my story. And I hope that people will take from it. We aren't looking for perfection. We don't need perfection. We just need people who have a heart for service.
And whether it's running for office or just showing up to vote for somebody, there's all a small part that we can play in making a difference. And right now, we're facing all of this uncertainty and craziness coming from this guy in the White House,
is calling upon all of us to do what we can, whatever that thing may be, big or small.
