Hello everybody! I woke up with the worst neck pain. Like the worst kink in my neck. I think it was like 5am or so and then I readjusted. I tried to sleep for a couple more hours and I did soothe it a bit but it still hurts right now and I think this is just vlogmas in my 30s. Oh my god it's so crazy you guys I I don't know what happened I took a couple of let me sleeps last night and knocked out and woke up in pain, but that's okay

I just can't like move my head too quickly right now. I'm just trying to keep it very still for breakfast I'm just making some soft boiled eggs or maybe like a medium boiled egg I'm gonna hurt so badly throw in some eggs into some boiling water very gently. Cal do you want some eggs this morning babe? Okay, eggs are cooking. Before we get into today though,

we are going to do five big sips of water. You already know. Five big sips, good morning. Now that we are well hydrated or on our way, it's coffee time. And we're gonna make a fun drink this morning.

We're gonna start with a double shot of espresso. Maybe we'll have another latte later. I'm gonna add my Sugar-free vanilla into my espresso just a little bit and then I have steamed some cookie milk We're gonna make a cookie latte this morning. I'm gonna pour my steamed cookie flavored milk Into the mug with some good cookie foam. And we're not done there, are you ready? We are then going to add some whipped cream,

because why not, it's the holidays. And on top of that, we have these cookies from Costco that we've been slowly getting through that are delicious. If you go to your local Costco and you see the butter sugar cookies with fall sprinkles, you must get them I really hope that Costco starts making these like a normal thing and maybe they'll change the sprinkles for the holidays

But they were just so good and I'm just gonna take just like a couple of the little crumbles on the bottom And I'm just gonna crumble it on Top of my latte because why not? Can you believe that look at that cookie latte. Let's give her a taste. Oh My god, it's so good I will say I like my lattes to be like steaming steaming steaming hot this milk doesn't get hot enough for me I do feel like I need to microwave it, but that's okay a delicious morning sweet treat with that

I'm gonna prep breakfast Cal and I woke up early this morning. So that we could clean the entire house. Everything looks so good. It's so pretty. I'll show you right now. Every morning we've got Smosh on. I love having Smosh on. It just creates like a really nice cozy vibe. We've got the fireplace, the Christmas tree. I'm so happy that we decorated early this year and this is a new tradition that we are going to continue into the next year because I want as much time with my Christmas tree as possible and it just creates the coziest vibe. I love the ambient lighting that it gives

and I just needed a little extra cheer this November. And then the couch is over here and it smells so nice and cozy. Okay, just got some work done on my computer. I am now having my hot coffee. I reheated it. Let's give it a try.

Okay, so much better. Really nice and hot. I also boiled our eggs. I did just eat the one that cracked. If you boil eggs in a batch, do you also always eat the cracked one first?

I don't know why.

I always go for that one, so I just ate that one. That one was like a medium hard boil. Let's check this one. I was just thinking, it's like a sunny angel. on the inside. I will say I forgot to set a timer, so this might be a little overcooked for what I normally want. Mm-hmm. Solid, medium, almost hard, which is fine. Still delicious, just a little salt.

That's it. On the schedule for today, it is Monday, and every Monday morning I have a big call with my team at the start of the week just to go over everything that we need up, what we want to plan, etc. So that is very soon. And I did tell you guys last Monday that we're still really ahead with content

that we got from Korea. So work has been honestly very chill lately, which I have been loving. And then every December with Vlogmas, things just get so crazy. And I usually just put all my focus into vlogs.

That's usually how it goes. But it's really nice that I get to focus on vlogs while also still having other content to go up for you guys that we already pre-filmed. So yet again, today's gonna be very chill, which I love starting Vlogmas off on a very chill foot. My aunt actually called me a couple nights ago and she was very much craving jjampong and jjajangmyeon, and she invited Cal and I to go with. And I told her, I'll just come along for whatever you want to do because I am free and I love

spending time with my aunt. We're at lunch. I got jjampong, which is spicy seafood soup.

Yum. We got yakimandu, which are fried dumplings. Auntie, what'd you get? Jjajangmyeon. Jjajangmyeon. And then we have some sweet and sour beef. And it's so good. Time for Korean grocery shopping. We're first coming to Hanam Chain.

We're stopping at this first store because Auntie has specific stuff she wanted to get here. And then we're gonna go to a second one after.

And I'm just following along.

I'm here for the ride. I'm here to vlog. Ooh, jjapchae. Guys, I wanna make it from scratch, and actually that's what I'm gonna grab today, but they have the mochi fruit here. The mochi with the red bean, and then the fruit inside, and it's frozen. That's so exciting.

Nutella rice cake, that looks good. I also love this stuff. It's acorn jelly, and the texture, it's like a stiffer jello. We got cream buns. The vanilla fresh milk that looks good look at this big bag of coffee

Korean coffee. Oh, you know what this is perfect. I have to get something for my white elephant gift basket We're here because she wants specific the cookie and she was like they have it It's here somewhere. Don't worry guys. Don't worry. She said we're a little bit, but not a lot. She got it We love this brand she convinced me. I'm gonna get one too. She said they don't always have it at H Mart, so we'll get it here. Say happy Vlogmas day one. Okay, we made it to H Mart.

They have an art box here. It's like we're back in Korea. 25 cents for a pound.

What a deal.

We could use a couple. We got the Shine Muscat grapes and they're on sale. Look how big and plump they are. I'm gonna get some stuff for my white elephant. I feel like we gotta do a Choco Panda. And, I mean, we love these. I'm gonna do the Hokkaido Butter Sticks. What are we looking for?

Ooh, I wonder if they have the green plum tea that I love from Korea. Where is she?

I actually always have trouble finding it. Wait, I'm so happy. I'm gonna get one for Alicia too.

Okay, so they do have K-pop Demon Hunter stuff here. Here's Rumi, Mira, Zoe. Are you thinking of getting one to feel like we're back in Korea? I don't know. Unfortunately, no sugar-free, and I find the ones with sugar just too sweet. Okay, main thing that we're here for, I see it right here.

We need sweet rice flour, or glutinous flour to make the mochi. We're gonna get some pork belly for a recipe that I'm gonna recreate. Got all the Korean side dishes, you already know. Radish, after Korea he's become a banchan man.

Next, we came over to Michael's because there was a Michael's in the parking lot and they have all these cute ornaments. So the reason that we're here is because I need to get started on making a Christmas gift. This year for Christmas gifts, Ollie, Alicia, and I decided to make it

a small gift exchange or DIY something for each other. And I already know what I'm gonna do for Alicia. I have no idea what I'm gonna do for Alicia. I have no idea what I'm gonna do for Ollie. If I have the time and idea, I'll DIY, but right now I need to get started on Alicia's because it's gonna take me a while. So we're here at Michael's to grab some things.

That's so cute. That's so sweet. Let's make a Glinda tree. We could put the bubble garland. How cute. She came down in a bubble, dude. I say that every day. Okay, we've made it to the yarn section. Oh, bogo.

The only thing is, it's not giving what I need it to give. So when you knit this yarn together, this is what it looks like. This is what I used to do the girls' blankets. And it's really easy because it's very forgiving if you drop a stitch and make a mistake,

but also it's really quick because it's so thick, but I don't think they have the color I want, so I think I'm gonna have to get thinner, which is gonna take me way longer. We've settled on this sandy cream. It's not exactly what I came in for, but I still think it's very pretty.

We've got a cream with like a tinge of pink, and then I potentially might make like an inner lining collar moment with this dusty pink. But we'll see. I'm not 100% sold on this yet. We'll see. Okay, I came to a second Michaels because I want this to be perfect for her.

And I didn't love the color selection as much there. And online says they have something I'm looking for here.

So let's try another Michaels.

Okay, much better yarn selection at this one. Like so much more yarn. Yay! We're going for our nightly walk along the beach and look how beautiful sunset is now. We go earlier at night because obviously it gets darker faster, but how cute are they?

We're gonna walk and then we go back home and it's their dinner time. They're so cute, it really does not get more beautiful than this. Are you kidding me? You can smell the salty air. Look at all three of them walking together. They're so cute. Let's go girls. Good girls. Come on.

And I got the stroller for when they get tired and I'll pop them in. We got the princesses in the carriage and we got Miss Lunes keeping up, walking that energy out. Hello guys. Oh my God, okay. We got the most adorable throw blankets, which I wanted to open this, of course, for day one because I wanna use these as many days of the month that I can. Okay, so first off, we have this one here that is huge and the girls love their blankets. This one has gingerbread and bows.

That's absolutely adorable. And I feel like these blankets, the texture is so nice. I'm actually just gonna put it on the floor and sit on it right now because it's so cushiony. Oh my God, this one's so cute too. This one is adorable also,

and I love that this one is a little bit less festive than the gingerbread, so I feel like you can really use this all year long. Again, the quality is so nice. It's just a red and white stripe, like very candy cane. Adorable again such high quality. I love that all the edges have these little strings like it's so nice

and so cute and after the wedding I had so many of you guys asking if Cal and I would do like a merch drop with them and I so appreciated that you guys were interested in it because obviously you know we designed these and I wanted people to like them but if I'm being so honest it felt kind of weird to like make money off of something that was you know so special for the wedding so I thought this was a fun happy medium between the two I was like people can still get them I'll do a giveaway and I think it still keeps the specialness of it and I have obviously

multiple sizes so if you win and when I you, I'll ask you what size you want. of making dinner. We are on the last leg of our Thanksgiving leftovers, and we're still trucking along. So I am making the turkey cranberry Thanksgiving melt that Cal made me the other day that has been living rent-free in my mind. So I am going to show you how he did it. He talked me through how he did it and it was phenomenal. You could do this with like lunch meat too. It would be so good if you like Thanksgiving food.

So we have two pieces of sourdough bread. I put Kewpie mayo on both sides, a little salt, a little pepper. I put the cranberry sauce from Costco that we were making a dent in. And I really wanna make some homemade Swedish meatballs

I have my aunt's recipe actually the recipe is in the cookbook My uncle's from Sweden my aunt lived there with my uncle for quite some time So she really got her Swedish meatball recipe down and it is so delicious you guys So I want to make her sweet meatballs and eat it with the cranberry sauce very soon I will say in Sweden they eat it with lingonberry sauce, which is kind of the cranberry sauce very soon. I will say in Sweden, they eat it with lingonberry sauce, which is kind of like cranberry sauce.

I think you can actually get it at Ikea, or I'm sure online, but I know Ikea sells it. But cranberry to me is close enough and we got a whole jug of it that we gotta go through. So I think I'm gonna do that. Oh my God, a Swedish meatball sub would be fantastic. Also, on the sandwich, we're gonna do white American cheese, which is one of my favorite cheeses ever.

Cal, did you do one slice of cheese on the sandwich?

I did like one and a half.

Yeah, it was really cheesy. Okay, we're gonna do one and a half. Oh, back on the pan behind me, I have a couple tablespoons of butter melting on low, low, low, low heat. If you have a panini maker, you can also do that, but a pan works just as fine. And then we've got our leftover turkey.

We're almost done with it and I'm very, very sad. Now we're gonna move this over to the stove on the butter and let it cook low and slow. We don't want anything to burn. We want it really nice and slow and toasty. Sandwich going in the butter.

Oh.

And then you really want the bread to soak up all that butter.

All that butter.

Now since it's sizzling we cover it up. That way the heat will get the turkey and the cheese while it's sitting there on a low heat. Gorgeous, gorgeous. And then soon we will flip.

We will flip.

In the meantime, I'm gonna make some garlic green beans as well as I am going to reheat the stuffing in the pan after it's done and get it crispy.

Nice.

For my green beans, I'm just going to steam them in the bag because I feel like it makes the cooking process so much easier. Don't overcook them to the point where they get mushy. And then in the meantime, I'm gonna chop some fresh garlic and then just saute it together with a little oil or butter, whatever you want.

Salt, pepper, super simple. I do this with a lot of our veggies that we have with dinner, so I'm gonna do that.

Dinner is served. We got our turkey melt. We've got green beans and stuffing. And my favorite part of stuffing is all the little veggies and things mixed in. I'm so happy! I've been knitting, as you can see see and someone really likes it. Do you like mommy's knitting project? Oh, you're such a sweet girl. Hi guys. Okay. I,

as you saw knit a good amount, I went through about two, two rolls and maybe like a third of this one so far and it looks pretty good. I'm pretty proud of it. Not bad, honestly, for one night's work. While I did that, I watched No Strings Attached. I don't know why, I just randomly got the itch

to watch that movie. Now I'm watching a little bit of The Summer I Turned Pretty, and I also switched my nails. If you guys saw, lately I've been wearing a bandaid on this finger, finally we're looking better. So I took the bandaid off, I cut myself in like the most inopportune spot

on Thanksgiving, I wasn't even cooking. I was cutting the dog treats that I got that morning into little pieces for them, and then boom, I just completely like snipped my finger, which was crazy, but it has healed now. And when that happened, the nail got messed up,

my sticky nails, so I took it off. And then I wanted to give myself a fresh manicure for Vlogmas, so I did these stickies that are from Impress, the same ones again, the short ones. And I've learned to keep the extras because sometimes they'll randomly get unsticky and you can like glue it on if you want.

But also I'm keeping the extras in case I just need to pop a new one on. These ones are so cute though, they're very wintry. We've got peppermint wheels, we've got the little bows, we've got the candy canes. And I think I'm gonna end the vlog here because I am tired with that.
