This is stupid.And I think it's a good example to set for the city at large.When it comes to These temperatures are extraordinary temperatures.Yes, we are proud to be hosting World Cup matches.I think France and Sweden is kicking off shortly.And we are proud to have sail forth 250 as well as celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation.

And we also know that even if this were just any other year, to be breaking into triple digits over the course of these many next days, it is of immense concern given that too often the heat is something that is underestimated.

But it shouldn't be.New York does not have to have problems with its power grid and threaten its residents with blackouts if it would just do things a little bit differently.They have gone on this crazy crusade for all green energy.even though most of New York's energy now comes from fossil fuels if you can believe that.But the city also has some of the highest rates for electricity in the entire country.You are paying double for electricity in New York than you are in other parts of the country, like Florida, for example, which is why people are leaving.

So the question is, what are New Yorkers getting for all this money?How can a city spend $125 billion a year and then tell the people who live in it to go take a bath in a fire hydrant?Like, this is ridiculous when you think about it.And this heat wave is exposing New York in ways that the communists running it don't really seem to have a problem with because they don't think it's a big deal for people to be bathing in fire hydrants.They don't think it's a big deal if your pool doesn't work.Well so what?

Just get on the train and... you know, go to another pool.Never mind that's going to take you four hours.Never mind if you have a bunch of little kids, you're not going to be safe taking them underground in a system that might not even be working, where the trains are totally delayed, where the temperatures are over 100 degrees because you're down there, there's no air ventilation whatsoever, trying to bring them to a public pool somewhere.By the way, these public pools, they've got lines, they've got rules.You can't even bring your phone in half of these places.They won't even let you.

No.All socialism can do is steal.the money that it needs to fund itself.And once it gets done doing that, you have communism, which is the total abolition of everything private.

Oh, yeah?I don't think so.We raise taxes on the wealthiest New Yorkers instead of taking more from those with the least.Throughout this process, I've been reminded of the words of the Austrian economist Friedrich Hayek.If socialists understood economics, they wouldn't be socialists.These past months have shown us anything.

And these people hate America.You know what, Stuart?I trust what people say a lot before they're elected, when they get elected.A lot of these people are deleting their tweets saying, oh, we changed.They don't want to talk about it.It's garbage and it's scary.

And that's why as much as it I'd hate to get into politics because it's the worst people.It's the worst life.You can't enjoy your life.I don't know what's going on in this country.And if somebody isn't going to step up or someone that to confront these people, it's a very scary place where we're going.

And here's the problem with this.You've got a whole bunch of folks in America right now who think socialism is the answer because they've been lied to.They think capitalism has failed.But capitalism, especially in a place like New York City, it's not allowed at all.Why do you think we have these failures of these public pools that will not open?Well, these are state run government operated pools.

They don't work.just like the government -run grocery stores aren't going to work, just like the government -run housing that the 6 ,000 residents who live near the government -run pool, just like their housing doesn't work, right?None of this stuff is working.None of it's capitalism.If we had privately -run pools, those would be open, just like privately -run apartments.get fixed and get maintained.

And are the rents high in New York right now?$5 ,000 average rents?Absolutely.But that's not because of capitalism.That's because capitalism is not allowed to exceed.You're not allowed to get in on this market.

There's a market right now where people are charging $5 ,000 a month to rent terrible, small apartments.Capitalists want access to that market.And once they get into that market and they start competing with each other, prices are going to go like this because the supply of apartments is going to go way up.But because you cannot build buildings in New York because you can't enter this market because it's locked and there's a monopoly here.People are benefiting, prices are high, and people are suffering because capitalism is not allowed to come in here and banish the greed of these property owners.We got the government running the trains too.

They don't work.when it's too hot.They don't work when it's too cold.They don't work when it rains.And even when there's no problems, the trains still have problems somehow.So everything that's government run in New York is falling apart.

And all of it is failing, not because of capitalism.Capitalism's not allowed anywhere near any of the failures going on in New York City.And that's the issue that this place has.But people are voting for socialism.They think that while socialism fails, The reason it's failing is because we don't have enough of it.What do you think about that?
