Everything is for sale.There is absolutely no principle.And I'll tell you what, this sale of Andre Santos, it is, it's actually a great indicator as to who Chelsea are at the moment.It is a token of where we are.It is a token of the way that the sporting directors view the club.It's a token of what Blueco see us as.

We are clearly a selling club.We are clearly selling our talent to teams that are in the Champions League.We are beholden to this stupid model of selling for profit no matter what.No matter what.If we make a tenner, we will do it.Forget it.

It doesn't matter.We can solve the problem.We can live with it.Basically, make the money, money, money, money, money.That's what it is.It really is an abysmal decision by the club.

And I'll tell you what, these failed, failed sporting directors have our football operations in a chokehold.It doesn't make sense.It doesn't make sense.Like, Andre Santos is a player that is a very good player.He's a player that we need at the moment.He's a player that did very well when he played for us last year.

He's one of the very few footballers to come away from last season able to hold their head up high.And we're selling them like that because there is no principle.I am telling you, these sporting directors are destroying the football club from the inside out.It's them.It's their planning.It's their players.

If you do not fit the model, you're out.It's as simple as that.And Andre Santos is obviously good enough to start for Chelsea next season.We finished 10th.He's going to move to a Champions League club.Sometimes it's just basic, right?

If a better team than you want to buy a player in your team surely that should set the warning signs going but no it doesn't and you know what's going to happen and it's so predictable and it's so infuriating and it is why i detest blueco this much it's why i detest these sporting directors this much You pick up a paper tomorrow, I guarantee what you're going to read, right?You'll pick up the back pages, you'll be having a coffee, you'll have your pain au chocolat, and you'll be reading about this transfer, and I guarantee you'll read something along these lines, right?They'll be telling us, the briefings will be going out now, and any of those journalists that tow the party line, anyone who has an interest of keeping Chelsea's press secretary sweet, you know what they're going to be doing?

They're going to be briefing, they're going to be saying something along the lines of, Lavia is a better player than Santos.Lavia is the kind of player that fits Xabi Alonso's plans, whereas Andre Santos doesn't really fit the way that Xabi Alonso wants to play football.

It is going to be so PR'd, and if you question it, by the way, you're seen as being some conspiracy theorist.Guarantee you, there will be articles written by very friendly journalists that say Xabi Alonso was in favour of this.

Xabi Alonso prefers Romeo Lavia, whereas if we're completely honest, Romeo Lavia has been a disgraceful sign of Chelsea.

It hasn't worked.It's been an utter, utter disaster.It's comparable, actually.

You know the way we laugh at Mason Mount against Manchester United?Romeo Lavia is that.

Romeo Lavia is our version of Mason Mount.It's been a disgraceful purchase, whereas Andres Santos, as well.of the very, very few good signings from Bluco.He's been one of the very, very few players to emerge from last season with any credit in the bank at all.

And I tell you what, this is happening because of the way the club is run.It's actually happening because of the ridiculous appointment that was Liam Rossignol.

It's actually happening because of the abysmal stain that was brought upon the Chelsea office of manager by miserable McFarlane.The reason this is happening is because we have a £100m black hole, because we didn't qualify for the Champions League, because we were so abysmal last season, because we underachieved to that ridiculous level, there is no European football.We now have a £100m black hole and we need to make that money up any way we can, even if it means sacrificing good players, even if it means sacrificing players that we need to have any chance of succeeding next season.

And anyone kidding yourself, if you're going, Oh, yeah, this is good.We're going to allow we're going to allow Santos to leave because we're going to sign Adam Wharton.If you believe that I've got a bridge to sell you.It goes over the River Thames.It goes over the River Thames.I can sell it to you because this is just just nonsense.

I tell you, it is absolutely nonsense.Andre Santos.I don't get it, but Manchester United fans seem to be quite underwhelmed by this.

Trust me.He's a really good player.He's very, very good.He's flexible in the middle.He can play in multiple positions.He's versatile.

He can play as a six.He can play as an eight.He wins the ball really well.He's got an alright eye for a goal.Decent eye for an assist.I think it will become a Brazil international with the game time and at 50 million quid, 48 plus two, it's a bargain.

He went really quietly about his business last year, and he had an excellent season.Genuinely, he had an excellent season last year.

He was part of that really good run that we went on, the only good run that we went on, really.He equipped himself brilliantly in the Premier League, and considering that it was his first season in the Premier League, I think that it was fantastic.Did really well in France.it's actually, you know, the stain on the office of manager that was Liam Rossignol.When you think about what happened in that time, there is almost nothing positive, right?But that little run that we went on, who was at the epicentre of it?

Andre Santos.One of the very few impressive things that Liam Rossignol did was identify that Fernandes and Caicedo as a two -man pivot didn't really work.

So what did he do?He moved Enzo Fernandes forward, almost as a 10, and in came Andre Santos.And guess what happened?Guess what happened?We started winning.Then, mysteriously, out of nowhere, Andre Santos goes missing.

The team deteriorate.Him being dropped out of the team coincided massively with Rossini not winning another game.Remember that run that we went on where we just lost, lost, lost, lost, lost, lost, lost, didn't score, didn't score, didn't score, didn't score.Under Bluco, Bluco, Bluco.Remember that?Then what happened?

Then what happened?Andre Santos comes back into the team, does very well.If I remember rightly, he's man of the match against Tottenham.Which was a big game, you know.We thought we could relegate them at the time.Man of the match in that game.

I tell you what, I've done my best as well.It was so annoying.I really tried hard with this ownership.You know, when they bought in Alonso, I was like, okay.Okay, they've given him the office of manager.Okay.

Okay, that's symbolic.They've given him the responsibility and the role as manager.I like that.Then what did they do?Then they bid for Granit Xhaka.Do you know, now I start feeling really sceptical.

Is there a world where that Granit Xhaka bid was to purely convince mugs like me they had given full control to the manager?Because it's such an Alonso signing.Had they got Alonso, had they got Xhaka over the line, that was clearly for the manager, clearly an Alonso signing, and I was in favour of that.Whether or not you think Granit Xhaka is a player that Chelsea need, whether or not you think he's a player that we need,

Xhaka is a player that Chelsea should be signing, the fact that Alonso would have wanted him, at least that's what we are led to believe, makes me think that it's a good signing.

And then I just wonder, I go so deep into the sort of conspiracy of it all, I think, did they pretend to want to sign Granit Xhaka to create the illusion that they were giving Xabi Alonso the ownership of this, when in actual fact they knew that the bid would be rejected.When in actual fact they had no real interest in trying to see it through.It was a whole thing of hoax to convince people like me, to allow people like me to go, tell you what, maybe they've looked at themselves in the mirror.Maybe they've looked at themselves in the mirror and they've deduced that their model doesn't work.They've deduced that they are the stupidest people in the room when it comes to football.They have deduced that they're approach to running Chelsea as if we're some sort of Silicon Valley startup is incredibly foolish.

They put a bid in for Xhaka that they know won't be accepted and all of a sudden I go, they've given full control to the manager.They've had an epiphany.They've cast this appalling methodology to the ash heap of history and we are now going to back the manager.They call in manager instead of coach and I go, wow.They put a bid in for Xhaka and I go, wow.And then this.

Selling Santos to Manchester United is a terrible decision.Selling Santos to Manchester United for £50 million is an appalling decision.Strengthening a rival, shocking manoeuvre.It's just so poor.And Manchester United have got a really good player on their hands.They're already better than us.

He would be starting for us.

And Man Utd fans, I've seen the reaction.I don't get it.He's a really good player.I like him.He's got everything you want in a midfielder.Loads of room to grow.

50 million in this market is a bargain.In the next five years, there's no reason why he isn't at the epicentre of both Manchester United's rebuild and Brazil's rebuild.He's the latest in a long line of midfielders that come from that Dunga.role.You know, Brazil, like in our heads, Brazil is the architect of the beautiful number 10.And of course, that's true.

Ronaldinho, Neymar, go back a generation, like Rivaldo.That's the way that I always assume and associate Brazil with playing.But actually, if you think about the modern definition of Brazilian football, it's Dunga.It's creating the very best in the Dunga mould.It's Dunga, it's Casemiro, it's Fabinho, it's Fernandinho, This is part of that iteration.It's the evolution of that position.

And I think he's going to be a really good player.I think he's going to be a really good player for Manchester United.I think he's going to allow Michael Carrick to do what he wants in that midfield.He's got a good eye for a goal.He can push forward.And when you think about it, 50 million quid doesn't get you a lot in this market.

We've seen it already this summer.Any half -decent midfielder, all you've got to be able to do is trap a ball and do 10 kick -ups.You'll go for 100 million quid.Michael Owen spoke about that.It was very funny.He was like, look, tidy midfielder, but 100 million quid.

Andres Santos at 50 is really good.I just don't get how we can do this.I just don't.I just don't get it.It effectively proves that we are a selling club.We are a selling club.

And we're a far better team with him in it.Strengthening Manchester United.Where is the principle?You know, Manchester United have been having a pig's ear of it in the transfer window.They desperately need a midfielder.And what do we do?

Well, we'll play Enzo Fernandez.He really wants to play for Chelsea.Oh, right.Who else will you play?We'll play Romeo Lavia.He's always available.

Okay, what happens if one of them gets injured?Not a problem.Dario Osugo will start games for us.Oh, is he proven?Nah, not really.So he'll link up with Enzo Fernandez, will he?

Probably not, no, because Enzo Fernandez has openly said that he doesn't want to play for you.Okay.I say though, obviously.Yeah, he'll be there, he signed a new contract.And you wouldn't sell him no matter what.No.

Providing Manchester United are the player of this quality.Somebody that they will obviously rate.Somebody that has a pre -existing relationship with Christopher Vival.He knows what he's doing.And Vival fell out with our sporting directors.Manchester United are struggling here.

Casemiro, gone.Ugarte, injured.Missing out on Tonali.Missing out on Fernandes.Dear oh dear, I just don't know what we're going to do.I really do not know.

They've now got themselves a player that's very good in a tackle, capable of scoring goals, and Chelsea Football Club are now a selling club.Chelsea Football Club are now a stepping stone club.I had to have this sort of epiphany when I spoke about Enzo Maresco going to Manchester City.Just another in the long list.Congratulations, Man United.It's a great day for you, not a good day for us.
