I mean, I won't need it, but... Guys, I also saw a couple of speedrunners that posted about the fact that I'm using auto-calc and was saying that I'm cheating. One, I'm just speedrunning for fun. As I say in the description, and I put a disclaimer and I even put it up on the previous, you know, one of the previous streams, I'm just speedrunning for fun. I'm not speedrunning

for the leaderboard, so I'm using mods that are not allowed. Like even zoom and nofog and stuff are not allowed. The reason that I'm using 2i auto-calc rather than using... Oh, I didn't mine obsidian. Yeah, okay, well I'm cooked. Let's just see what the train would be like. We'll just get practice and we'll reset. Um... The reason that I'm using an auto-calc mod rather than using Ninja Brain Bot...

And just so you guys don't know, Ninja Brain Bot basically is a bot that whenever you throw an Ender Eye, or usually two unless you're doing boat calculation, it takes the yaw, like you look at where you threw the Ender Eye, I guess you can't throw it in the nether, you look at where you threw the Ender Eye and you get your yaw and then the program automatically takes the two yaws and does mathematics to tell you exactly where the stronghold is. So speedrunners, they basically

know after one eye, maybe two eye throws, where the stronghold is. Obviously, they have to see where it goes, but they know where it is. I don't want to use Ninja Brainbot for a couple reasons. One, I have no use for it outside of speedrunning, so learning how to do it is something I don't really care to do, and downloading it and having it on my computer, because I'm just never going to use it. And two, because I don't like the fact that you have to zoom in and whatever.

The only reason I'm even going to the overworld and throwing eyes at all is just to simulate the time spent so I can have a better idea of essentially how long my runs are taking me. Because obviously most runners, that's what they have to do. So the only reason I'm even doing it is just to not have an instant hop to the nether, you know?

I mean to the end. Because I feel like that'd just be stupid. At least here I'm doing stuff. But anyway. Okay. Alright, well, we traveled.

But anyway. But I saw, I do think, I do find it humorous though, I will say I do find it humorous though, people that were complaining that were pointing out and were saying like this is like the worst like cheating I've ever seen when it's literally like just a simulated version of exactly what is done in every single top speedrun. Like yeah isn't it a little ridiculous that you can throw two eyes and just instantly

have a calculator tell you where the stronghold is? Isn't that a little ridiculous? Like, yes, it is ridiculous. I agree. It just seems more ridiculous when you're not, wow, I didn't look at the ender eye, like I didn't look where it went and it just told me instead. It's like, it's just pretty funny. Alright, we need a good seed. But yeah, that's why I put in my title, I'm cheating.

Because I'm not actually cheating, but I'm technically cheating. Speedrunners use one eye. Yeah, I know. Basically, guys and you can also use one eye because they get into a boat and then when you get into a boat your coordinate is one like your yaw coordinate is which is the direction you're looking is one more like decimal point of accuracy and the more the more accurate it is then Like you can basically figure out where the stronghold is.

So they use a boat and then they can just use only one eye. It's like, I could just do that. And I saw people saying, I read a hilarious thread. It was on Twitter. I don't remember who it was, but it was somebody and they said like, the problem with it isn't that Dream is doing that. It's the fact that he's not being transparent about it. That was the first comment. And I saw like one of my fans said like, what do you mean he's not being transparent about it?

And then took a picture of like the description of my videos where every single one has it listed in the description saying disclaimer, I'm using mods that aren't allowed in speedruns. Um, and then I saw somebody else reply and say like, uh... The sad part is that he could easily do it himself.

Like, he's basically doing the same thing. Like, he's leaving the stronghold, he's throwing two eyes. He could easily just do, like, use the ninja brain bot and do the exact same thing, but... Like, he doesn't. And that's shameless. I'm like, what? How does that make any sense? If anything, I should say the opposite. I should be like, yeah, he could do it, but he just doesn't want to, and he's not submitting for a run, so why would he? Anyway, I thought

that was humorous. I had a good time on Twitter. It reminded me of 2020 a little bit. Except for this time I can rest assured that I'm in the right. Your three emeralds lock in. True. I could also get a bucket from one of these chests. And there also is a ruin portal over there, so this is good. Maybe I should lock in I still need to do trade, but I need a barrel.

Basically, the navigation for me, because I don't use pie chart, is essentially see where the fortress is and then go into the other, and then try and see as much of the other quadrants. We had a big open area there on the right side and

there was no I couldn't see a bastion across the lava lake. I could have turned up my render since maybe but I could see pretty far. So then the strat is just run alongside these two quadrants of like positive negative X and negative Z since the fortress was positive Z and just hope that there is a bastion essentially. So it is a lot of just like hoping and praying but I don't know what what the best navigation is here. Is this closed off as well? I guess I can look around this corner. I think this is closed.

We gotta go back. This is not great. And this is closed as well, no, there's lava there. So we'll come down here. Um, okay, it's still closed though. I think the dub is actually glitched right now, it doesn't have Minecraft sounds. That'll be fixed later today. Yeah, YouTube is also right now, it's less glitchy than Twitch and higher quality. So I'm assuming that's, there's also probably a lot of people choosing to watch on YouTube rather than Twitch. Because YouTube supports 1440p, which is higher quality and bitrate. And Twitch doesn't. Twitch is on like 720 or something for my stream so welcome welcome everybody what's one cycle one cycle is when you like bed the dragon while it's landing rewinding stream is so huge on youtube yeah you can rewind if you want go back I think on twitch you you can but it's like harder. I don't know

I think the stream on YouTube looks really good Right guys like the quality like the bitrate and everything like it looks like a video in my opinion I'm watching the VODs back and it's like high quality It's not like as high quality as my videos, but it's like it's pretty it's pretty good. W stream quality. W YouTube. You're practicing without one cycle because of manhunt rules? Kind of. I'm practicing without one cycle for a couple reasons.

One being that in manhunt I never have enough time to do it because I'm always getting hit by people and also the server, it's harder to do it on a server because of the server delay and also one cycling is harder in general because I'm not using hitboxes. Hitboxes is really easy. Without hitboxes, one-cycling is a lot harder. You can still do it, but it just takes more beds because you can't be as precise. What's your PB in this version? 1.16?

I guess my PB, I think my PB is still the one I did off stream before my first stream doing this. That pisses me off. It makes me mad. I think it's 32 minutes. I think on stream my best is 33.

going back into the nether, traveling in the nether. You can't just skip to the end. If I just skip to the stronghold, then the time would just make no sense. It would shave off however much time every time. So it's a way better practice for keeping track of how fast I'm beating the game in comparison to myself, because it's consistent, and also in comparison to other people as well. That last run could have been 20, I think if I was one cycling, I guess it would have been what, like a 29 or something, or a 28. If I was one, if I had successfully one cycled and gotten the additional beds I need. So that's a couple ifs, but. but... If you place two blocks in front of the bed you take less damage. Well, I think it's just if you have any block in between you and the head of the bed. Uh. I can go to the village and trade. I guess I might as well get this.

And what else? And I want to think of more strats to kill the dragon without 1 cycle and 0 cycle that is still good. Oh yeah, I also placed obsidian wrong. That probably cost me a minute. That wouldn't have been the difference between being a sub 30.

Basically we need to cut off like 5 minutes, you know? And where can we cut 5 minutes? I think that it's primarily my bastion routing that could use the most work. But it's a lot harder with Brutes, so I don't know the best route with Brutes. Sub means under. Apparently the world record is 7 minutes. That's in a different version. That's an earlier version of Minecraft. But also, yeah, people get lucky and get really fast seeds.
