Just like the Indian government has been demanding to shut down the terrorist factory. But unfortunately, the Taliban has not listened to Pakistan's demands. Even today, the UN has imposed sanctions on them. But for the sake of India, their travel ban has been temporarily lifted. India met with S Jai Shankar, the external affairs minister of India. India announced humanitarian aid for the people of Afghanistan. India also announced reopening of Indian embassy in Kabul.

It is okay to announce humanitarian measures and to reopen the embassy. But it is not okay to openly shake hands with Taliban leaders who are facing UN sanctions. This is a bit sad but Modi must have thought about it. A few years ago, he himself was saying that good Taliban, bad Taliban, good terror, bad terror are not the same. We have to choose between terrorism and humanity. Good Taliban, bad Taliban, good terrorism, bad terrorism are not the same. Decide whether you are with terrorism or humanity.

But they did not. Because they have lost integrity. But the women journalists. Women journalists should not have been allowed to enter the country, especially those who did not have a beard.

Because Taliban beats up those who do not have a beard. It is un-Islamic for them. What a time we are living in. Government's supporters are now bringing some kind of untacent, disgusting logic in the Taliban's defense. Then, by evening, it becomes clear that women journalists were not stopped even in the Deoband program, women journalists were not stopped. If the MEA had insisted, women could have participated in the press conference. So, to settle the matter, Taliban held another press conference. Foreign correspondents of India have ridiculed Taliban's foreign minister. Why did they stop women's education? No, no, it is not like that. There is no ban on education for women. It is still a discussion. But the truth is that Afghanistan is the only country where girls are not given basic human rights. Schools, public parks, gymnasiums, mosques, markets, salons, universities and high schools are banned. They have been banned from all places. Police beat up girls if they demand education. Is it right to join hands with such a cruel regime? And the bigger question is, is the situation so bad that Taliban is forced to be happy?

What cruelty is happening to women and children in Afghanistan? But some people are supporting Taliban. Their faces should be exposed.

Today, in the same UP, under the Yogi government, Taliban is welcomed with police protection and salute. They are given tour of Deoband. This VIP treatment, probably, has never been seen in rare sight for Taliban. Taliban's foreign minister was very happy with the welcome.

India has invested $3 billion in infrastructure development from 2001 to 2021. Schools, hospitals, roads, dams, parliament buildings were built by India. We built the building for them. These projects were a failure after Taliban came to power. By normalizing ties with Taliban, we can now safeguard our projects and investments. Apart from this, Afghanistan has minerals like copper, lithium and iron ore. It would be a good idea to start exploring them. Taliban wants to give entry to Indian investors in mining and infrastructure so that they don't come under China's economic control.

Afghanistan can also become a natural market for India. Indian medicines, textile, FMCG, construction goods demand is high. Another reason is regional power balance. India wants to have a visible economic in Afghanistan through trade and commerce. But we have to pay a price for this influence. First, India's compromise with terror. To join hands with Taliban means to dilute our stand on terror.

India had to take special sanction waiver from UN Security Council to allow Muktaqi to enter India. India is not ready to question IC814 hijacking, 2008 embassy bombing or journalist Danish Siddiqui's murder. On one hand, we have been spreading terror attacks all over the world. On the other hand, we are negotiating with UN-designated terrorists, we will talk to them, we will salute them. Now, you tell me, who will take India's anti-terror narrative seriously? But India is not just a transactional power, its identity is also known as a moral and responsible power. Engagement with Taliban is important but treating them like honorable guests is wrong. Meet the supreme leader of Taliban in Afghanistan, Hezbollah Akhund Zada is seen as a religious leader rather than a military commander. His work is to hardline interpretation of the Sharia law. He has been taking on cruel laws one after the other. He is based in Kandahar, is quite reclusive and is not seen in public.

But listen to his claim to fame. July 2025, this year, the International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant against him. Why? Crimes against humanity and especially because of persecution of women and girls. Will Modi government shake hands with him? Will Narendra Modi hug him?
