moving out and my final week in London | weekly vlog

morning everyone I'll be back to another vlog I forgot to start my vlog last night like I said I was going to so I'll update you on what I've been up to in a bit I've picked up some more of these Isaac's here they filmed a video yesterday for friends from work so he's filming a bit worse for what he's feeling a bit worse from where I think I'm the one feeling worse for wear, look.I feel what you feel, vice versa.I'm actually not ill, believe it or not, given that I look like this.I think I've just got no colour to me for some reason.I'm sniffily as always, but that's hay fever.But anyway, we're here to try, well, I've already tried them, but I want Isaac to try the brownie batter overnight oats, which I'm obsessed with these.

he came in and then we ended up chatting for hours and hours and hours and he left at like yeah 2am so it was it was a late night to be fair we've just we've been lazy at the moment and we've been lazy this morning yeah isaac's not feeling very well i've also started my period today so i've decided to dress for the mood today as you can tell um no but in all seriousness i'm not feeling too bad right now obviously i've spoken before about how the first day of my period for me is the pain has started but it's tolerable so we'll see let's see how the rest of the day progresses because I don't know.

I am leaving, yeah.And then I've also got a hair removal appointment at 4 .15.that's what's in the schedule for today as well as the usual need to film need to edit the use hello change of plan as always so i didn't end up going to pilates because literally as soon as i was about to say i got off the phone with you i got off the camera those period pains hit so i've spent like the last hour i've got a heat pad on right now which is really working actually i've dosed myself up on ibuprofen had some electrolytes which again i think have helped like a bit of hydration but yeah i decided not to go because i just don't think it would have been a good idea and yeah pain but my dad then rang me pretty much as soon as i stopped recording and he said he wanted to go tothe Sunglasses Hut in the O2 Outlet because Father's Day I wanted to treat my dad so my brother and I got him these Oakley sunglasses he'd seen them in the Sunglasses Hut and then I managed to find them in the outlet store which was great so we got him those for Father's Day but he's seen another color of them that he likes more so that's fine i bought he's i got the receipt and stuff just in case there was something else that he liked i'm gonna go and meet him now and we're gonna see what other sunglasses they have my tube is delayed i am dying my period pain right now is actually on another level i don't know if you can tell my face is red hot it's like boiling like i'm sweating i'm in like in agony oh so much for me saying uh the ibuprofen was working i was actually killing to even just stand up it's so bad we're here fun fact first concert i ever went to was here and it was the believe talk by justin bieber let's just say a lot of tears were shed a lot of screaming was done my dad filmed the whole thing and it mysteriously disappeared who knows who deleted that i'm not quite sure I'm not sure if I'll be able to convince my dad to go in there, but we can try.He told me to just meet him in the sunglasses hat.I did say, shall I not just ring you when I get to the O2?

Such a nice day if you haven't been there as you could see we went to so we went for somewhere at lunch called You know what?I should actually research things before I start speaking So I do this every time just in case you fancy going oak and poppy in Hampstead.That's where we went for brunch but obviously yeah it was too late for brunch which i didn't realize but that chicken schnitzel 10 out of 10 and then after that we just had a little mooch it's such a pretty area we walked to the heath i believe it's just like a big greenery park area people were swimming it was so nice walking chatting and thenwent to the holly bush which was really cute that pub went to the yurt cafe and then we came back to my building because there's like a balcony and we sat out there for the sunset honestly been so nice and it's half ten so it's late Yaz just went home but yeah it's been such a nice day and yeah it'll be weird that I can't just do that anymore but yeah I think I'm gonna have a bath now Isaac just set it up for me just have a little relax because I guess it is so late because I've only just got home it feels like I don't know I don't feel like it's bedtime yet I'm crazy girl how many nights have I got left at home it's Thursday night Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday got four nights left with my bath so it makes sense to get four bath uses in doesn't it really so i'm gonna do that now i was gonna wash my hair tonight this is the problem with a slip back i'll do a slip back on literally like the second day that i've washed my hair i'm so premature with it i know i'm literally probably gonna be bald in like five years and then each day i'm like right i'll just do it so then i'll wash my hair and then i get up the next morning i'm like i don't can't be asked to wash my hair i'm just gonna slip back if i stick it back in again i'm like right okay i'll wash it this evening am i gonna wash dry my hair before I go to bed, cannot be bothered.Next, so I go to bed, I'll wash it in the morning.No, I do this every single day.

And I said to myself this morning, I'll wash my hair before bed.Am I gonna wash my hair at half 10 at night and dry it?No.Will I do it in the morning?Probably not.But right now I'm telling myself that I will.

So hopefully I'm gonna, I'm gonna try, oh, but then we've, we've actually got a inspection tomorrow morning.Fingers crossed everything's all right with that, but you've heard me say before, this building, I actually bumped into, I wasn't going to say this but I think it's fine to say, I actually bumped into a girl in the lift here.They've just moved in.and then she said oh i watch your videos, i really love your videos.i was like thank you and then i was thinking if she has watched my videos why i've been complaining about the building so much and now she's realised this is where i live.i wonder if she's thinking oh we've just moved into a building that's got loads of problems which if you're that girl and you're watching this, get out.

get out now whilst you can before they bring you down with all their problems, honestly.i'm not even ever going to speak about it because get out of my life.but just know, you name it, it has gone wrong.things you think, okay that's got to be it and then next week there's another issue and you're like, you're actually joking.like it got to the point where i was ringing the property manager weekly going, i don't want to be doing this but this week The heating doesn't turn on.This week, the intercom's broken.

This week, the dishwasher doesn't work.Like, it's actually ongoing, ongoing.I'll tell you one thing which was mental.We moved into this - I said I wasn't gonna talk.We moved into this apartment, right?Move -in day, when we moved in here, it was a Saturday.

It was actually Isaac's birthday.Walked into the apartment.And please bear in mind, we live in London, right?It's expensive.We walked into this apartment.There was duct tape.

all over the windows are like balcony doors which you would have seen in front of duct tape around the whole thing walls scuffed carpet filthy bed the wrong size like you get an inventory when you move in so obviously we this was our first house so well first apartment like moving out together so obviously you know we went out we bought duvets duvet covers mattress covers all of that for like the bed size they told us moved in completely different bed size broken sofa because obviously it comes furnished yes sofa was brokentoilets were dirty, toilet was blocked which then went on for about eight months not even exaggerating that we lived here we had a blocked toilet for which every single week we were ringing them saying the toilet is still blocked and it was just again ongoing it was like a problem further up because obviously it's a high -rise and oh my god just like I said you name it it's wrong but yeah like that day we moved in we were like you are joking like the apartment was filthy obviously we had an estate agent or someone that works as part of this building it's all done through that because you don't have like individual landlords here it's all done under the building and our estate agent that we had been in contact with the whole time we should have known really from the beginning because when we first had viewings it was such a nightmare like obviously we lived far away we were on our way for a viewing he rang us when we were 10 minutes away from London into like into a two -hour train journey and said oh actually the apartments I said you could view we can't view anymore and we were like what do you mean we're literally nearly in London like we've just spent like 60 quid on a train we're here to view something like i'd taken the day off of work like we should have known that was a red flag but yeah we'd obviously been in contact with him and him only the whole time so i was obviously ringing him when we moved in like we walked into this apartment it's an absolute state he didn't pick up my call and he never To this day, to this day, I must have rang him so many times, emailed him, because we were like, who the hell do we talk to?He refused to pick up.And yeah, to this day, after how all those calls I left him, voicemails I left him, emails I sent him, never responded.How crazy is that?Like, in the end I managed to get hold of someone who worked.

like not our estate agent who came over and he was like he walked into the apartment and he was like oh my god i can't believe this is what you've just moved into it was really bad sorry that was way longer than it should have been but and then yeah for the nearly two years that we've lived here well i said to you recently we have not had heating that has worked properly for the whole nearly two years we've been here which i raised when we first moved in like i said our toilet was blocked for eight months and this is the worst one honestly if this girl is listening get out while you can they let themselves into our apartment this is after i made a formal formal complaint and i didn't make the formal complaint until like 13 months in living here.So I kept tolerating it, tolerating it, tolerating it.Then I was like, no, do you know what?Again, something was broken.I think it was the heating.So it was in that cupboard.

No one had told me someone was booked in.I woke up in the morning, walked out of my bedroom to go into my living room.There was a man in my living room.Can you actually imagine?And they had given him a key to my apartment and let him in.Without me knowing, without me saying yes, I literally walked out like can you imagine like you know what if i just got out of the shower and i walked out what on earth i literally walked out and was like hello who are you like no like that's quite literally illegal like i did make a formal complaint and all they offered us was it was like 200 and something pounds compensation and just know that if you knew what we paid to live here which is stupid by the way it's absolutely not worth it it's london prices hence why i want to get out of london 200 pounds that was for by the way a span of like 14 months of problems 200 pounds compensation anyway so if you are that girl get out i honestly cannot

warn you enough new renters right she can give two months notice i would just get out of here and go someone else every time i see people being shown around here i just want to say to them like don't do it and i've seen so many other people have problems on the building app like this isn't the first time someone's been let into someone's apartment like i've seen it in other things anyway not talking about it anymore.literally says i'm not gonna talk about it and i've probably just been converted for like 10 minutes.cannot wait to be out.four nights to go.so anyway yeah it's only right isn't it if i use my bath for the foreseeable.may as well just spend the next four days in my bath to be honest.

I hate this bathroom lighting.It always makes me look gaunt.Bath items of choice.I think I'm gonna use up the rest of my vanilla bath soap from the little hamper eyes that got me.These smell so good.I want a bit of bubble bath, but I don't have like a sweet bubble bath that matches the scent of this.

I've got my neon one.which I obviously love but that's a lavender smell and obviously that's vanilla.

Maybe I'll just have the bath salts to be fair.

I think I might justdo that i was about to shut this and you're in there i'm gonna have my bath and then to be honest i'm gonna get straight into bed so i will check in with you tomorrow and hopefully be better at filming tomorrow morning everyone I'm just out on a walk I've just stopped to vlog because it's quite busy so I found a quiet area to vlog but I just went to Gail's as you can see I really wanted to try their plum matcha because it just sounds so nice but um I went there and the guy was like oh we've run out of matcha one of the girls has gone to another store to go get some more she should be back in like 10 minutes I was like that's fine so i went into like just john lewis just to have a little look around just to kill some time anyway i went back like 15 minutes later and he was like she's still not back i was like that's fine don't worry i'll just order something else so i got this cherry and chia iced tea which is really nice just very refreshing anyway i went to pay and he was like don't worry about it i was like why he was like it's on the house i was like oh my god thank you so much which has honestly just bright in my morning such a nice thing to do today like i said i'm just out on my morning walk the sun is so nice i'm in me jorts i'm just gonna walk for maybe like an hour um with my drink and then i've got editing to do as always boring but i want to sit outside and do it we've literally only got so the pack has come tomorrow which doesn't even feel real i think tomorrow then it's gonna feel like oh my god we're moving because right now obviously the apartment just looks the same i need to this evening just i guess have a little bit of a sort outobviously we've done quite a lot of it but i think do things like go through the kitchen cupboards maybe just quickly go through our bedrooms and stuff and just see if there's anything that we do want to get rid of or sell through the building or stuff like that just so that tomorrow morning when the packers come they can just crack on they don't need to worry about Maybe us not wanting to take something or anything like that I think I'm gonna do that this evening just because I want to make the most of being outside in the sun and because We've obviously only got a couple days left here.I feel like I want to make the most of being here.

no just wondering if you were gonna have two then i'll have twoyeah oh and I'll see you tomorrow when the movers are here me no them good morning everyone today is our last day in london so we do have tonight but we literally leave tomorrow morning so everything is boxed up i can show you a little bit of the apartment but we had the packers here yesterday all day they literally packed everything i mean you can kind of see a preview there so the only things that are left out have just been kind of the essentials that we need for tonight and well last night and tonight it's feeling i mean it it doesn't feel like super empty because obviously this apartment is furnished so a lot of the big furniture stays here but it's only like when you open drawers and stuff they're just empty so yeah but uh i'll show you kind of what the apartment's looking like right now yeah everything is just boxed up obviously yeah beds are still here if i come in the bathroom everything is just Completely empty apart from my toothbrush because obviously I need that.Bath is still standing strong.I need to decide what I'm going to do with that.I kind of need to decide today because if I'm going to stick it on the building then I need to sell it today before tomorrow morning.Everything is completely boxed up.

and i've got a couple bits which i'll show you when i get home we've written a little message on the thing goodbye even though it's not even called sostran and green anyway and then shannon wrote live laugh live laugh live and then realized that she could have done live laugh laugh i know i love these but it is just one of those things that you buy and you think what will i actually use those for just seen these face towels and mine are a little grotty so i'm gonna get some of these move out day how do you feel really weird feeling i really don't knowliterally empty apart from obviously the furniture that lives here nothing left got nothing left wardrobes are completely empty it even sounds echoey doesn't it yep wardrobes completely empty yeah i'll show you the rest of the apartment in a minute but the movers are just in and out i'll show you the rest of the apartment in a second we went to bed at 5 a .mm because it was the england game last night and then woke up at half eight this morning because i had a car dropped off from mercedes again so thank you very much mercedes just so that obviously whilst mine is still being sorted i can still get around because i'm gonna need that this week and then the movers arrived at half nine so we're literally running on yeah like three hours of sleep but um i'll show you the rest of the apartment what we've got left really not much at all it looks so odd are you in your field wow i mean look at the kitchen it's just so empty obviously but it feels weird i know you can literally sit in the garden tonight how mental is that big wardrobe gone bathrooms empty and echoey and yeah this is kind of the last room they're packing up which is Isaac's office so he's got quite a bit of equipment okay this is it guys we've literally just got the last of our bags that we're gonna take which is food and that's literally everything the apartment's empty yeah wow it feels so weird so we're gonna go now and drive to our new house and meet the landlordpick up the keys um yeah i don't know feeling a little emotional because it's sad isn't it to move from somewhere but i don't know hopefully once we get to the other side it will feel really good but right now i just feel a bit like oh my it's sad seeing everything empty but i don't know we'll see
