My parents like to say I've never had a real job before. And that's because my 9 to 5 is at the beach. I braided my hair, didn't brush it because it just gets knotty when we swim in the ocean. I ride my bike to work every day, which is something I'll never take for granted. At 9am everyone meets at headquarters for a morning workout. We always do some variation of a run and swim.

Sometimes we take the boards out and paddle. I don't have a set schedule yet, so I've been working with different people on different stands every day when you're doing the same thing Every day, it's nice to switch things up. We grab everything we need from a box on the beach and head to our stand. Today I'm sitting with two rookies. Guys, suddenly I feel like an old person I started doing this job when I was 16 and now suddenly I'm a senior. Like what the heck. When we drag the stand It is actually heavy. afternoon break I went to headquarters because they had ice pops and Italian ice It was such a good day like the weather was perfect, perfect for Italian ice And this is exactly why my parents don't think I work a real job

What we do do as Ocean Lifeguards though is very serious If you couldn't already tell I never film while I'm sitting on stand Only when we're setting up and cleaning up We're allowed to have our phones to play music We're allowed to have our phones to play music But other than that it's super strict
