Well folks, it is finally here. Pokemon Champions has finally launched and I am very ready to play it. I am very, very excited. In a way, this almost feels like a game that I've been waiting to play for like, my whole life. Not that, not exactly.
But for a very long time since I started competing, right? This is a game that I dreamed of. I mean, not literally, obviously, but back when I first started playing Pokemon competitively in 2011, maybe even beforehand. And so, I don't know, I think that there's so much possibility with this game. I think that the future is so bright and it's just weird to finally be in this moment where this thing that I've been kind of looking towards and working towards for so long is
actually here. Like I can click on it if I wanted. Look at this! Let's address the elephant in the room before we jump in, which is that I'm not at my normal setup. I'm actually at a friend's wedding in Italy. And if you're thinking to yourself, Wolf, this door doesn't look very wedding themed, that's because it isn't. The hotel that I was staying at has Wi-Fi, but not Wi-Fi that works with my Switch.
So my last 24 hours have been very stressful. I already don't usually have a mobile setup that I have rented because I explored maybe 30 different options and this was the only one that worked, but it seems to be working. So anyway, with all that being said, I apologize that I'm a little bit not at my normal setup
and that I know I look a little disheveled, but that doesn't matter. You're not here to look at me, right? You're here to look at Pokemon champions. Because my setup is a little bit scuffed, I actually don't even have headphones, so I will not be able to hear the music. Uh, so... This game can be played in full without spending any money! I couldn't read that fast!
Okay, they don't want me to be giving them any dollars. That's the first thing that I picked up. Okay. Anyway, what I was saying is that if the music is incredible, I won't be commenting on it, since three in the morning, not by choice. And so I know that there's a tutorial we'll have to do first. Which am I most like? I mean, I'm certainly, I'm certainly, I'm certainly this one.
I am a white boy. Customize, that can be done later. I'm so happy. I am happy with my appearance. Enter your name. Okay, this is a big moment.
You know, there was a period where I was experimenting I think like it's a question right should I be Wolfie should I be wolf or should I be Wolfie VGC? This feels right to me. I am happy with the name Wolfie. Thank you I'm gonna throw up. You do not understand how how much I've struggled now because I don't have any audio I'm pretty sure that there's voice acting right surely there's voice acting I mean it is a nice cutscene especially because the voice acting is I mean, I'm sure the voice acting is, I mean, I'm sure the voice acting is great. They probably got the big dogs in here, right? Oh, this is new. Why are the graphics good? The first thing I'm doing is updating the text speed.
There's no way I can live like this. The frame rate is not good. That was bad.
Who all, oh no.
I think I heard that this is like the Switch One version. Am I coping? At least my Italian Wi-Fi. Hydro Pump. I remember, you know, it's funny, I have the same thought that I had in the, when I played the game early, which is that this tutorial's unrealistic because Hydro Pump connected. Your team sucks, old man.
Okay, so I get to recruit a Pokemon for free here. I wonder if this is a preset list, like you always have the same 10 choices, or whether or not... Okay, there we go. Okay, that's good to know. So you're not incentivized to restart the game and beat the two over and over again. You get a free first Pokemon.
So I think out of all these Pokemon, I like Palafin the best. I'll take Palafin. It's a cool Pokemon. Palafin and Cinderore Sinister is probably a core that makes sense.
Guy who can't be chilled, guy who is only ever thinking about optimization. But then some, okay, it's a game about competitive Pokemon, what do you want me to do? They gave me Gengar! They gave me Gengar! What happens if I press X?
Skip this scene, I think I'm down to skip. I think I've seen enough. I think I can figure it out. Begin, they're not gonna gonna match me with anybody here, are they?
What?
It failed?
Am I actually being ranked against somebody? I'm stuck! There's no opponents! I can't do anything! I'm soft! There's no opponents! I can't do anything.

Get started freeI'm soft locked.
I'm soft locked in the tutorial. You gave me this garbage team and then soft locked. I'm soft locked? I'm soft locked in Pokemon Champions with a garbage team. What am I supposed to, I don't even know what to do. I'm actually softlocked. And I have no buttons to push.
Is it because I skipped the scene? It's not gonna have saved. It's not gonna have saved and I'm gonna have to do it all again. They're punishing me. They're punishing me.
I think I have to quit out. Please, please have saved my progress. I'm quitting out, I have no choice.
Moment of truth.
I'm back here.
I don't think I get to play. I'm actually not, it's not funny anymore. Okay folks, good news is I am back and I fixed the issue. I think it has something to do with the wifi. Maybe it's the fact that I'm in Italy. Like, I don't know if that caused issues, but I went outside in the street and I stood around
and I used my mobile hotspot that I bought an eSIM for. And anyway, I got through the tutorial. I didn't record it, but here I am. So, so far I would say that I'm excited about is the battling. And so, is it gonna make me pay for this? Well, that's positive.
Okay, so I just collected five Pokemon from Pokemon Home and it didn't cost me any VP. Let's see, fake out, parting shot, flare blitz, and let's give this thing, okay, I can see all the moves here. Looks like they're sorted by type right now.
It seems like I can change the sorting here. Okay, cool, that's pretty easy. Because I brought in the Pokemon, it actually didn't cost that much. That's Incineroar down. Let's give Mimikyu some EVs here.
It's moves are already good. Wait, this is, okay, this is pretty good. Wait, this is, this is, okay, this is pretty nice. Arr, arr, okay. This is so far so good. I may not be playing with, I am running out of VP, like, somewhat quickly. The fact that I can just bring the Pokemon in,
I can, if I had more time to figure this out, and I wasn't, like, away from home, I could just give them all the moves and the EVs to this. Let's go to the shop. So there's two different types of shop. There's like the premium one that you pay for and then there's the non-premium one. I think eventually I will spend money because I think it makes sense for me in my situation, but I will also be seeing how easy it is to get to do well without spending any money. So what are the items I need? I need like citrus berry. Oh let's 1500. Okay, we're gonna have to play some games to get some more points. I think there's probably more tutorials I can do to get points, right?
Okay, so there's clearly some items missing here. Like I went to find the flame orb and they're not here. I'm pretty confident they'll be here at some point, but they're not here right now, which is I think definitely an interesting decision to make. There's definitely some time in the oven.
But if the battles are fun, I think I can forgive that. Now let's see if my matchmaking will work here. This is the same kind of issue I was having earlier. But in theory, these are my first battles in Pokemon Champions. And again, I don't know what the mega evolutions
for either of my Pokemon do yet. it's also possible that I don't have correct Wi-Fi. If I don't have Wi-Fi, by the way, I think I just can't do this at all. I might be able to get around this. Yep, same issue. So I think it has something to do with the fact that I'm in Italy and I can't use a hotspot for this because the Airbnb that I rented has Wi-Fi, but no service.
So my hotspot won't work. So it seems like the core issue that I'm having in Pokemon Champions actually doesn't have to do with Pokemon Champions, it has to do with my wifi. So there's a solution that I have found just for the meantime, for the time being, I know it's not ideal, but I'm doing my best here, okay? I am kind of freaking out a little bit, but that's okay. I have called Scarlet in and she is going to,
she has rented my team and she is going to be playing on the ranked ladder and I will be telling her which moves to make. So it's not a perfect solution but I think it's totally fine. Like I am functionally still playing except my character is now more dripped out. And yeah again this is only a temporary solution. I'll be back home on Friday and so hopefully by Friday or Saturday I'll be able to have regular setup with my own game and proper functioning Wi-Fi. So yeah, we're gonna go ahead and jump into some ranked battles here and try out Pokemon Champions. Try out the real reason that I wanted to play this game, which is the Pokemon Battles. Okay, all right, wow. First battle in Pokemon Champions. Here we go. Let's see what the opponent has. They have a Palut...
I'm pretty sure that, yeah, this is the same team. So let's see, we should do Incineroar, Mimikyu, probably in the lead. And I mean, we definitely got to bring Chimecho, right? Like, I mean, surely we have to try out Mega Chimecho, right? So yeah, let's do Incineroar, Mimikyu, and then Torkle Chimecho, I think makes sense here.

Get started freeTorkle looks pretty good here. So, okay, yeah, let's give it a shot. Yeah, I think this is just the default starting six Pokemon that this person has, which, I mean, there's no shame in that, right? You gotta get a feel for the game.
See if you would see if any,
if you like any of these Pokemon before you rent out other ones. But yeah, that's, that's very funny. Palafint and Aggron. It also seems like the full box is the same for everybody, which I didn't know. And we have Incineroar and Mimikyu. So, I mean, I want to go Parting Shot plus Trick Room, right? Parting Shot the Palafint, I think?
Because it'll probably switch out here to activate Zero to Hero. And go for Trick Room with Mimikyu. I guess, like, they could kill me, right? They could Jet Punch or Wave Crash or whatever and Heavy Slam. Do you think Mimikyu dies to that? No way, right? Aggron's pretty weak.
Uh oh.
Wait a second. Okay, Mimikyu takes the Jet Punch. Everything is fine. Surely, surely Aggron doesn't One-Shot. Surely, Aggron doesn't One-Shot, right? Okay, we over parting shot paladin let's send in chime echo here I think let's go into chan back over here meteor beam hello hello hello power no okay well I mean that's probably alright. Okay, Triggram goes up. Let's see here. I mean, we definitely want to Mega Evolve Chimecho and go for a Psychic into Palutena, I'm pretty sure.
And I guess let's just Shadow Claw Palutena to cover a switch slash get the KO for sure. Yeah, that seems pretty decent. Seems pretty decent here. Okay, here we go. Chimecha Mega Evolves into Mega Chimecho it looks good Mega Chimecho looks really good in this game I love the three little mini wind chimes here's Jet Punch Wave okay my ability didn't activate here it didn't activate when I got hit took the Jet Punch either. Here's Meteor Beam.
That didn't do very much damage.
Here's Psychic. Okay, Paladin's pretty bulky so I don't think this is gonna do that. Am I wrong? Is Paladin not bulky? Why does Psychic do 80%? Shadow Claw gets the knockout. Okay, I think the Crit is overkill.
Beedrill. Okay. Let's check Chimecho's ability. Levitate. Okay, that's not super great. Okay. Let's go for Psychic and Shadow Claw here. Smart Strike. I think Mimikyu is dead. That's minus one. Oh! This Mimikyu is super clutch.
This Mimikyu is super clutch! This Mimikyu is so clutch! And Beedrill, yeah, I don't think Beedrill is taking a psychic from Mimikyu. Or from Mega Chimecho. I think with Levitate, I feel like that's not very good. Like, Chimecho, Mega Chimecho's stats are not so good. That's Shadow Claw Crit again. This move is broken. Do they change the crit rate maybe? Gengar, okay, we're just gonna Psychic this
and Shadow Claw, or Shadow Sneak the Aggron I think, because we're probably dying. So yeah, let's Psychic here into Gengar and then we can Shadow Sneak into Aggron. And I think we're in pretty good shape. Although this is Sash Gengar. Let's just sneak the aggro in here.
I'm not disappointed by Levitate Mega Chimecho. I need to take a closer look at the stats. I haven't looked at the stats in a minute. Metal Sound? Hello. Oh boy. But I feel like it's not an ability that's like immediately very broken. I think it's good like a psychic steel type of levitate like that that's bronze on them you know I love bronze on but yeah I think it's like I don't know it's certainly not bad it's certainly not bad but it's also not so incredible my my kind of interpretation of this first rule set is that they want to keep the power level somewhat low like even some of the returning Megas that are pretty strong like Metagross for example are not present here so I guess it makes sense that the of the Megas that are in this regulation they're not maybe the
ones that have the highest power level as Flash can't get to the Aggron here but yeah I'm not disappointed by Levitate Mega Chimecho it's not it's not inherently like a problem but yeah it's certainly not so exciting either we'll have to see it could be okay it could be it could be okay. It could be, it could be okay. But it's not, people were saying it was going to get tailwind on switching. Like that would have been incredibly broken. Oh, I guess I didn't say this,
but because Flame Orb doesn't appear to be in the game right now, I didn't give a Conkledor an item, which was also partially just wifi issues. Like it should have an item for sure. Okay, this is not entirely the starter team. Actually, it's only got two of the starter mods, so they have Snorlax, maybe Mega Hawlucha, is that in the game?
I think for this one, we wanna do our tricker mode again. Maybe we do, I mean, I kinda feel like we should just do Instant Mimikyu again, right? With Chimecho Conk Holder in the back. Yeah, I think definitely Instantar and Mimikyu and Cynar, Mimikyu, Chimecho and Conk I think I need to be really careful for King Gambit I need I need I need Conkleter for King Gambit
though to be fair Conkleter is very good into King Gambit so let's give it a shot here as we jump into the battle here's a bonus no King Gambit. So I did potentially just give them a Defiant Boost, which like, but the thing is, I needed to lead the Cinderort to get Trick Room up. Okay, I get Intimidated on both. It is so fast.
Oh, it's Pressure. I'm chilling. Okay, let's just fake out Trick Room. Let's just fake out the King Gambit and Trick Room here with Mimikyu. fast the gameplay is moving. Oh that is a nice fake out animation. Am I crazy right? It feels like it's moving so fast. Here's trailblaze. Nice camera work there. Like it's not a very

Get started freeflashy animation itself but the camera work makes it feel nicer. Disguise gets broken. We take a little chip damage from disguise going down. That's 1x8 right? Yeah because 160 would be 20 so So that makes sense. Okay, Trick Room goes up. Cool. So here, I mean I guess we just accept that King Abbot might kill us. We go for Play Rough into the Abomasnow and
I guess Parting Shot the Abomasnow is okay. I just want to get Congluter in right? And I think King Abbot could protect. Although I guess I could Flare Blitz here. But I want to get, oh. Flash Cannon, that's not even a two shot. My God, Parting Shot? I didn't even notice that Snow wasn't up.
I'm so, I'm so out of it. I have like, I got like no sleep last night. Oh my God, what is going on? I guess, I guess this is, you know, people just trying out the game. I mean, I think it's great. I think people, it's great that people are jumping and experimenting with Pokemon moves.
I mean, let's play rough the Abomasnow here. And I do really feel like we need to get Conk on the field. Let's Parting Shot into the King Gambit here, I think. Which is not a sentence I've said very often. I think I did that at a regional once, I can't remember if it worked or not. Anyway, yeah, now this Flash Cannon King Gambit is at minus one special attack and attack. Oh, and they party shut off both at the same time. I'm sure I've seen that before,
but I think I forgot. Let's go into Conqueror. And I think Play Rough is gonna get the, I think Play Rough is gonna get the Abomasnow here. Yeah, because they Trebliss, so they're definitely faster. Okay, here's what's gonna happen. We're gonna play her off this Snorlax. We're gonna Drain Punch the King Gambit. They're gonna Body Slam the Conkleder.
They're gonna get the Para, and then we're gonna get full Parried. Oh, Body Slam! They're gonna Para. Oh, they're gonna activate Guts!
Ah!
Ha ha ha!
Okay, I thought I was getting Parried for sure. having Flame Orb is suboptimal, but here it's more optimal, right? Because now we're slower than Snorlax inside Trick Room. So you may think, oh Wolf is an idiot, he didn't give this Cobbler an item, but in actuality I didn't give it an item so that I could, the Snorlax could Body Slam Paralyze me, drop my speed immediately, and power me up anyway. So actually I think this game is probably over. There's one turn left of Trick Room. I mean, what do I have in the back? I have Chimecho and Instant. Like I feel like I'm in pretty good shape here. Yeah let's just go for a play rough into Hydra.
It's weird playing without Terra. Like I'm like oh yeah they're just gonna fire Terra. Maybe we should cover it. But no they're not. They're not gonna fire Terra this game. Okay we are slower than Snorlax. That is probably guaranteed without Ivies now. Snorlax goes down. Player Rift comes out, connects, and that's the end of Hydreigon.
Nice so I think that's a 4-0. Yeah, very nice. Cool. Yeah. It's going so fast. Like I feel like I'm blinking and like the game is over. And I think part of that is that I have an optimized team against people who are probably newer to the game and just trying it trying stuff out but I think also it is a testament to the fact that the game is moving much faster. So I only intended to do two battles to be honest here but should we be crazy? Should we do a third? Here's the thing I don't I do not know what mega victory bells ability is and i would like to know i think if i had to guess
like my initial thought is like yeah chlorophyll is actually pretty good for it so maybe it keeps chlorophyll but it doesn't look very fast or very full of chlorophyll okay this is a legitimate team this is this is a real team sylveon gujra garchomp snorlax arcanum i mean we have to do torquil uh victory bell right i almost said venusaur i think in the back we have to do Torkle, Victory Bell, right? I almost said Venusaur. I think in the back we have to do Mimikyu plus, I feel like it's gotta be Conk, right? It's Conker, Incin.
We have to do Victory Bell, Torkle, because I need to see what Victory Bell's mega ability is, even though I think Chimecho's actually pretty decent here. Chimecho's actually so good. They have double Fairy walls Garchomp. Yeah, I think it should be Conk because of the Goudra, right? Because Mimikyu can't beat that and Victreebel can't touch it.
I think my Victreebel set is terrible, by the way. I'm actually, I don't think I should share this rental team because I think it's too bad. I don't want to share it, I think. I think the team, I don't think it's good enough for you all to... I don't feel like you all should use this. I don't think it's very good. I'll fix it somehow. Okay, Torquil, Victrebel, Vigant, Whimsicott, and Snorlax. So the correct play here is no Mega Sleep Powder or Eruption, but we're gonna click Eruption for sure. The thing is that I need to see what the ability is, and the only way to do that is to Mega, so... sleep powder here into the Snorlax. Oh you can even pair Chimecho with Garchomp
but hang on I gotta focus on the battle at hand. Okay, Victreebel Mega Evolve. Let's see if its ability activates here with the with the activation. It does not. So Whimsical goes for Tailwind. So I guess I could have Prankster. I don't know for sure yet. I could have it. I'm still faster. Sleep powder comes out, puts Snorlax to sleep. Good job, Victory Bell, you are goaded. He puts Snorlax to sleepy time. And then I guess we'll see if this thing is thick fat or not.
It could be thick fat, which means my Eruption would actually not do very much damage. But getting Whimsicott down to Sash, we're just clearing it here. We get the clear. Very nice. I guess they can go into Garchomp here, but, oh, they forfeited.
I can't see the ability! I can't see the ability. Also, I just realized I forgot to put the microphone on. I'm not wearing my nice microphone. So the audio quality I guess is not gonna be as good. My god. I'm having a rough one, folks.
This is another legitimate team. Gengar, Sneaselur, Incin, Whimsicott, Dragonite, Politoed. I don't have anything for Politoed because my Victreebel has Solar Beam like an idiot. Let's do Victreebel and Mimikyu in the back, we need Torkoal, and then I think it's gotta be Incin, right? Because Conquilor's not good in any of these mons. Oh, they're also on a 3-win streak. That's a cool little thing, I didn't notice that.
Transcribe all your audio with Cockatoo
Get started freeBut, I don't know any of the other matches. Okay, Gengar, Sneaseler, and I let Victory Bell. I should have brought Chimecho. Chimecho would be so good here. I mean we have to mega evolve right? And I think we sleep pattern her into the Sneaselurr because we can shadow claw the Gengar and then we tricker him. So the problem here is that do you think Shadowball kills Mimikyu? Because Sneaselurr could direclaw and then Gengar could shadowball and then Mimikyu might
die. But it's not like I have a switch into this and I also can't protect so I think we have to tricker him anyway. You know, I just said this team was not very good. I think this is showing already some of the weaknesses, but it's fine, it's a day one team, right? I just wanted to get a feel. I honestly just wanted to find out
the abilities for the Megas, which we still don't know Victory Bell. Gengar, okay, wait, I'm sorry, I blanked out. Gengar but Mega Gengar is faster than Sneaselurr. So let's see here. We want to see, okay great. Shadowbolt comes out and into Mimikyu so all it's doing here is breaking to Skies.
So I guess Sneaselurr could put us to sleep or paralyze us which would be pretty bad here but other than that we should get Trick Room up. Direclaw, ooooh the flashbacks! that's really strong by the way. Okay, but no status condition. Sleeve Runner connects. So Sneasel's just taking a nap. And we do get Trick Room up. So here's the thing that looks like this is a good turn for sure, but the problem is that I have two Fire-types in the back and they have Politoed and I can't switch Victory Bell out. So I mean wait innards out wait isn't that the Pyukumuku ability uh well for now we should sleep powder the Gengar and switch to instant but innards out I don't remember the exact details of
how that works I know it's when you knock out Pyukumuku it will damage the attacker but is it only with a contact move I think that's a really funny ability this mega is going in the garbage can there's no way this pokemon is any good I I don't even- I'm gonna have to look up what Entertap does. I don't remember the details. I'm pretty sure it- I'm pretty sure damage is equal to the current HP of the- like the Pokemon- the HP that I can look it up. Oh, I heard that the sleep mechanics changed, but I need to do a little bit more research before I talk about it. I'll make a video at some point talking about all the changes, because I think there's been a lot of mechanical changes.
But yeah, it's been kind of difficult in my no-Wi-Fi zone here in Italy. Incineroar comes in. Now, did I remember that they had Incineroar on this team? No. Darkest Lariat does 9% I missed knock off I missed knock off that's that's not much okay Sludge Bomb does a lot like almost 50 almost 50 48% but the the citrus that's not good. Caesar takes a good sleep turn I think it's guaranteed to wake up now so here I mean we probably protect Victory Bell and Parting Shot the Incin I think?
Okay, protect on Victory Bell, that's good. If I say that's good, it might not be good, I don't know. Fake out, uh oh, oh okay, but it's into Victory Bell, okay, I was worried about them hitting Incin there. I go for Parting Shot into Incin. I like the Parting Shot animation, I think I've already commented on that, but yeah,
I like the parting shot animation. I think I've already commented on that. But yeah, I like the animation. We have to go into Torquil here because we can't go into Mimicule. We'll simply die. I think Sizzler's guaranteed to wake up this turn. Okay.
Brick Break.
Okay, that's not going to do very much. Unless it crits. Okay, so now Eruption's kind of off the table. I think I'm screwed. I don't think I can do anything here. Okay, I'm gonna predict the Polytode switch again. I think this is the play, right? Because I- there's nothing to switch to. Eruption won't kill Incin. I'm in- I'm in- like, I need them to switch in. So I'm gonna sleep out of the Sneaseler,. Polytode! Okay so now it's raining. This changes the type of my weather while turning it from a fire move to water move. Does this KO? Because it's
not that strong. Does this KO? Oh okay I can win I can win I can win I can win I can win I can I can win I can win I can win I can win I can win I can win I can win. Sleeppower connects! I think Victreebel's hit like three this game alone. This Victreebel is trying to get back on the roster. So the problem here is that they go into Gengar and end up trapped. But the Gengar is also asleep and Sleptrum actually is pretty strong here. I can't have that many turns of trick room left, right?
Two at most, maybe only one. Sneaselurr comes back. Oh Sneaselurer comes back in. I guess, cause Gengar could've stayed asleep and that would've been bad, right? So here, I mean I think I'm supposed to just switch Torkle out, right? Into Mimikyu and maybe Sleep Powder the Sneaseler? Wait, did Tricker Muppet and I miss it? That might've happened too.
Cause it feels like we've been in Tricker Muppet for a long time, right? I sent Tricker switched, I switched. Okay, Torkle switches. Mimikyu comes out. So I'm fine sacrificing Mimikyu here. Okay, Trichromedon didn't end, I just wasn't looking. Trichromedon ended, Mimikyu goes down.
So if I hit Sleep Powder here, this is actually really good because I get to go back into Torkle. Oh, and I hit another Sleep Powder! I might have to reconsider what I said about Picture Whale. Victreeble might need to be on the team. Victreeble might need some usage. Setting up Torkoal here, resetting the sun. So now I can use Solar Beam. Now it's good that I have Solar Beam. So I think we just Solar Beam, Polytote, and Eruption, right?
There's no real reason to do anything else. Sneaselurr can't wake up this turn. I doubt it will come close to killing. Let's see here, I guess Gengar could be frail. Like it's probably just max speed, max special attack, right? We haven't actually seen anything. Okay, actually it's Sneasler who switches. Okay, so Gengar's coming in on this lock, so we get a guaranteed, oh his eyes are open?
No, it's asleep. We get a guaranteed solar beam one shot on Politoed. So now we have Sunup for the rest of the game. This would be more dangerous if I had Chlorophyll. Like Innerzout hasn't done anything yet. But that's okay. Eruption comes out.
This is not gonna KO with... I came pretty close actually. I was pretty good. I mean I should just double the Incident Victory Ball most likely, so I can just Solar Beam plus Eruption here, I think. And if Gengar stays asleep, then I win the game, and if it wakes up and goes for an attack, then I KO it regardless, and if it wakes up and goes for a protect, then I get damage on Sneasler and I have the chance of getting a two turn sleep on Sneasler as well.
Sneasler takes its first turn of sleep, that one was guaranteed. animation you used to play the sleeping animation which would take time but now it just blitzes through I like the solar beam animation by the way it looks really nice probably not if you're a mega Gengar but if you're me looks pretty good this is a good match actually this was a really good one this was competitive I also got pretty lucky so that that definitely helps eruption comes out does a ton doesn't use it doesn't KO but yeah now I think just leafstorm or sludge bomb or not Leaf Storm, Solar Beam plus Eruption

Get started freeshould close this one out and we're gonna win, we're gonna win! We're gonna win our fourth game, I think our first full competitive game, which is very fun. So yeah, unless Sneasel wakes up and goes for Rock Slide, I think it's gonna be pretty difficult for them to win, and even then, not super likely. They got another two turn sleeve. I think I've rolled max sleeve turns on all of these.
I think I've literally rolled the maximum sleeve turn on every Pokemon so far. A Victory Bell is so funny. Like I don't think I'm gonna use it much, but it is, it's such a funny Pokemon. And with that, yeah, okay.
That's a four-oh. bit tilted earlier I think when I was having connection issues. I also definitely thought, I think I thought that it was champions and like there are definitely issues with how champions have launched I think. That much is apparent even with my you know limited experience. But I think the issues that I was having specifically are primarily Wi-Fi issues. And I am sorry about that. I really, I really, really, really tried so many things to get the this to work and it just it just didn't so i know that this is pretty scuffed but i wanted to get something out there anyway for y'all um yeah just just so you would have um some some of my gameplay on the first day but i am really sorry and um yeah i think that's pretty much it for me then um i'm i'm really interested to see how the game evolves going forward i think that like they
definitely need to there needs to be like a a, like a Switch 2 patch, because it is definitely laggy. And also they need to give me more wifi specifically. That's something that needs to happen. But overall, I will say that I was not having so much fun until I started battling and the battles were honestly really fun.
I think that like, I'm excited to learn more. From what I've seen, the quality of life changes mostly seem good. There's definitely some ones that I'm like, oh, that's interesting. Not having all the items in game is definitely interesting. It's just a question of when they add them, right? Is this going to be the whole first regulation?
Is it going to be just for today and tomorrow? Are they going to add new items in the shop every day? Who knows, right? like some some things have to be fixed for sure. The things being primarily the latency, whatever you want to call it, the like the input lag and my wifi. Those are the two big ones.
So anyway, that's it from me. Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoyed the games. Thank you for your patience. Sorry again for the quality and yeah, I'll see you all soon.
I'll see you all soon. Bye bye.
