New footage shows gunman charging through White House press dinner

Security camera video has been released showing the man charged with the attempted murder of President Trump.Footage shows Cole Thomas Allen sprinting through a security barrier holding a gun.

Police respond immediately, with the officer in the bottom left of the image appearing to fire towards him.Mr. Allen is in custody awaiting trial, having not entered a plea when he appeared in court earlier this week.
