NEWS: Delta suspends travel perks for lawmakers who shut down the government.

We have some news right now. Delta Airlines is suspending priority access and other perks for members of Congress during the ongoing government shutdown that has impacted so many TSA agents and so many Americans at airports across the country.

New reporting from the ACJ, the Atlantic Journal Constitution, suggests that Delta Airlines is now suspending a key travel perk that many members of Congress use on an almost weekly basis. The benefit has allowed lawmakers to book last minute flights

and access key dedicated services. Well, it's now been disrupted because of ongoing government shutdown operation related issues. And Delta is now saying, you know what, we're gonna, we have a strain on resources.

We're gonna prioritize our workers and safety for those who are flying. We're not gonna prioritize the members of Congress who are preventing us or the TSA agents from getting adequate funding. So that's what's happening right now.
