Gavin Newsom tried to call out Ted Cruz and he accidentally roasted himself. On his podcast, Texas Senator Ted Cruz claimed that California Governor Gavin Newsom is historically illiterate and then Gavin Newsom proved he doesn't know what that means.

Here's what Cruz said. By the way, just like AOC and Whitmer, Newsom is apparently thoroughly historically illiterate. He said we've never seen National Guards federalized in the states. I guess his history book does not discuss the Civil Rights Movement. He's never heard of a president named Dwight D. Eisenhower.
