Nigel Farage LOSES HIS TEMPER With Sky News Reporter After Local Election Victory!
And hello everybody, welcome back to the channel.Guys, it's been quite some few days for Nigel Farage and the Reform Party in these local elections.Of course, the results have been pouring in and Reform have definitely came out as the best party in these local elections. And it's also been satisfying to see Labour face a total wipeout. Now, of course, Nigel Farage did face the media quite a lot.He celebrated the fact that reforms victory in these local elections and said the best is yet to come, which we're going to be having a watch in a moment.
However, he did lose his patience as he was grilled by Sky's Beth Rigby on Over this sort of five million pound donation now.I want to have a little watch of this guys I don't know where you probably stand on this one, but Nigel does make a good point They're saying that he needs to declare it, but this donation happened before he was even an MP So if that was a personal donation before he was ever an MP, then it's not a problem is it?Well, let me know your thoughts down there in the comments.Hit like, hit subscribe, and let's get into this. This is pretty ferocious between the reporter and Nigel Farage.
Nigel Farage, I have to ask you, you took a five million personal gift from Christian Harbour, Christopher Harbour, cryptocurrency billionaire who lives in Thailand. He's reform's biggest political donor. You took it just months before you became an MP.You didn't declare it.Why not?
I don't need to.
The rules actually say...I've read them. You're saying you don't need...I've read them too.The rules actually say if there is any doubt...
Yes.
...about the nature of it, the benefit should be registered. And the rules state you must register all current financial interests, any benefits other than earnings received in the 12 months before an election within one month of their election.No.If any doubt, the benefit should be registered.
There is no doubt at all.
But they're your biggest donor.
Well, they might be now, but they weren't then.
He has donated...Several billion, million pounds. You took five million quid and you didn't tell anyone.
Which I'm going to need very badly to be secure for the rest of my life.
If in doubt, why didn't you just declare it?Because I wasn't in doubt.Just explain to people how someone, your mate, giving you five million quid.
We've just got a set of local elections. We're the winners. We can discuss that.If you want to sit down and discuss how illegally obtained information has been put into the public domain, about which I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever.Given that he is a political donor...
If you want to discuss that, we'll do it another time. How are we getting on in Scotland? Are we doing all right in Scotland?Given that he's the political donor...It's a waste of spaceless, isn't it?It's a waste of spaceless.
No, because now you might be under investigation about it.I'm just saying, why didn't you just declare it?
Because there was nothing political in its nature at all.It was purely, purely because since 2013 I've been unable to live any sort of normal life, and I never will be, for the rest of my days. But it was unconditional...Do you wish you had now, given that it's a controversy around you that you don't need?Everything I do is controversial.
No, no, taking five million quid from a political donor...No, no, no.

OK, one other thing that...You can discuss the elections. We'll discuss them if not...Nigel, can I ask you what...All right, let me ask you one more...
It's a waste of space.
OK, let me ask...
Sky News, Typical...
Nigel, let me ask you one more thing about it.OK, you're saying I didn't need to, and it's OK.You could be the country's next Prime Minister.Yes.You think it looks OK.What would you have said if Keir Starmer had done that?
And can you see how it might look to some people?
I don't know Keir Starmer's personal finances. And to my knowledge, no one's ever stolen that information and put it in the public domain.OK.
Let me put it this way. Some people might say it looks dodgy. What do you say to that?Do you understand that?
No, no, no.No, not at all. What I understand is because of constant media abuse over 15, almost 20 years, my life's unlivable without protection.serious protection. It costs several hundred, many hundred thousand pounds every single year. And you know what?
The state will never help me in this country.
Why don't you just declare it then?
Because it's not political, it's purely personal, and within the rules which I read carefully and had lawyers look over, it wasn't needed.
Anyway, we've won an election.Very good, thank you.Thank you for your time.Well, I mean, on that one, if it's not political, then it's not a problem.I mean, as he keeps on mentioning that he followed the book, and it was before he was an MP.So why is that an issue?
I don't see why it is an issue if he received a donation. It's not like Keir Starmer, that was donation gate with sort of Angela Rayner, Keir Starmer, they weren't declaring stuff.at the start of their premiership in 2024.This is pretty, pretty different and completely different, actually. However, as mentioned, of course, Nigel Farage and the Reform Party did make the biggest wins over these local elections. And this was Farage sort of celebrating with a glass of champagne, toasting to these new local councillors.
But I want you to remember this, all of you, all of you that were elected today, getting elected to public office does carry a burden of responsibility. And that burden of responsibility is because people have placed their faith and their trust in you.And they've done it at a time when I don't think faith, belief, and trust in our leaders and our politicians has ever been at a lower level in our country. So the responsibility is on our shoulders. And there was a comment that was made at our conference last year by 83 -year -old Preston Manning.Preston Manning founded the Reform Party in Canada.
He was my inspiration for calling this reform. You know, they became the biggest party in Canada. They finished up in government for 10 years and did a really, really great job.And when Preston was asked, how did you go from being non -existent up against an established Conservative Party and Labour opposition, how did you go from being nothing to taking control of the country and running it for 10 years. And the answer he gave is an answer I want you all to think about at times of difference, at times of disagreement, at times of stress. You know, place 45 people in Thurrock together in one room, not everyone's going to agree.
It's literally impossible. We're human beings. We argue with our friends, our family. We all disagree. But what Manning said is something I want you all to bear in mind.He said, we got to the top and we won and we succeeded because we had our disagreements in private and not in public.

Get started freeAll right? So please, please heed my advice on that. There are times when it's better to bite your tongue, go and sit behind a desk, close the door, argue it out.Argue it out as fiercely as you want to.But after four and a half years of psycho drama with the last Conservative government, And with Labour about to start ripping themselves apart, that's the last thing the voting public want to see.All right.
So please, please bear that in mind.Well, that may be it.
So, yeah, of course, a big day yesterday or continually a big day for reform in total, in general. And to be fair, I've been pretty happy, to be honest.I lost a lot of faith in the UK voter base, really.I felt like we were going to have a lot more sort of green lunatics getting voted in.However, it does seem as though this country wants a right wing party, which is a great step in the right direction.Guys, let me know your thoughts on both of those clips we watched today down there in the comments.
