I was recently walking the streets in New York City when I came across people literally lining the streets selling high -end purses, watches, and even Apple tech. But guys, here's the catch. Not only was everything super cheap, but the sellers would quickly close up shop whenever they saw a cop, so you know something sketchy is happening. But of course, I bought some tech from these sketchy sellers, and in this video, we'll test everything out to see what I actually got.As you can see, at first glance, everything actually looks kind of legit.

We got an iPhone 17 Pro here.We got some AirPods, AirPods Max, got an Apple Watch as well.Let's go ahead and just dive into this stuff and see what's actually inside.

0:29

I'll start with our AirPod Pros here, and as you can see, it's the AirPods Pro 2nd generation designed by Apple in California.

0:35

Yeah, sure. But you can see here in the back, it looks a little odd, like that graphic right there is very low -res and it's got some weird coloring to it, so you know it's not quite legit.Let's go ahead and see what's inside the plastic wrap here.I'm actually not even sure, does Apple even plastic wrap their stuff?Like, I feel like they don't.Don't, but I could be wrong on that.

0:50

Now, they do have some nifty little, you know, tabs here.I'm not sure if these do anything, but yeah, they're locked and show right now.So I'm going to pull one of these tabs and see if it, oh yeah, that's, that's not an Apple tab.Not surprising, but anyway, something to note there.Let's go ahead and come on.Open up, please.

1:04

See what we got inside this little box here.Again, we have some designed by Apple in California text here. And that just looks off. What font are they using there? That's not quite right. But yeah, we got all the plastic wrapping here, just like a real AirPods Pro.

1:16

And it comes off fairly easily. And here they are.I mean, I got to give it to them. The case itself, Looks pretty legit. There's even a little cable down here.We got some other little stuff down here as well.

1:26

Probably some, yeah, different ear tips. Now pulling the cable out, it is interesting they included a lightning cable because I believe they changed the USB -C like three years ago at this point. But anyways, that's what they included here and it does plug in and work.Okay.And as you can see, there is a green light here. When I flip this thing open, you can see we do have the AirPod Pros inside and I think they're magnetic.

1:42

Oh yeah.Okay.I mean, that's kind of cool for, I think I paid 35 bucks for these and it's straight up cash to these guys, but they don't fall out.I mean, that's okay. That's something. We're going to pull them out and see how they fit my ears.

1:52

Usually these things do not fit very well, but you know, we'll try it.Yeah, they're decent. Now, in terms of real Apple products, if we bring this close to my iPhone,it should just connect by default. We'll see if it does anything.Oh, you know what?

2:04

Wait a second.Hold on.Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.What?

2:08

It's just popping up on my iPhone.Okay, let's press connect and see what it does.Okay, it seems to be recognizing them as real AirPods Pro.Okay, let me take a step back here.I haven't used any AirPods on my iPhone in years at this point, so I don't recall the exact, like, the exact scenario here, what it shows on screen, that sort of thing.

2:24

But this is actually very surprising to showing this at all.Let me see if I can find some more details about this in my device now.And actually scrolling down, we see some more stuff here.So it says AirPods Pro, it says a model number and serial number. Now I looked up the model number here and as you can see, it actually says it's a AirPod Pro first generation. So now we're seeing that they, I don't know, they probably spoofed some numbers here, but clearly the actual specs of this device don't quite line up with being a second gen like the packaging says.

2:46

But anyways, let's go ahead and put these in my ear and just see if I can hear anything through them.Okay, so they do turn on and work and they actually have a touch sensitive button that at some point will turn the music back on.
