Omaha family says 3-year-old is okay after a deadly attempted abduction

This is the moment an Omaha police officer shot and killed this woman as she attempted to kidnap and slash the face of a three-year-old boy outside Walmart. I spoke to the mother of that three-year-old boy. He's now out of surgery after his hand and face were both cut in the incident. His name is Kyler and she says he was incredibly brave. His family calls him their little cowboy. Kyler was being watched by a family friend Tuesday morning when they were approached inside that Walmart in Omaha and the woman threatened them with the knife. The caregiver was able to call

911 as the suspect forced them out of that Walmart and that's when police asked her to drop the weapon. She then cut the face and hand of Kyler and asked her to drop the weapon. She then cut the face and hand of Kyler and that's when officers shot and killed her.
