Ontario wildfires prompt evacuations

As dozens of wildfires continue burning out of control in northwestern Ontario, it's believed that some communities have already been destroyed.We know that many people had to self evacuate on a moment's notice as the provincial government calls the situation rapidly evolving.Video captures a family fleeing a wall of flames burning on Collins First Nation after conditions rapidly intensified.This is one of nine communities in northwestern Ontario under mandatory evacuation orders as dozens of wildfires burn out of control.they had to evacuate them because there was nobody M. City News has confirmed the crew is now safe and rail operations through that area are temporarily suspended.According to the province, several hundred highly trained Ontario wildland firefighters are on the ground and are being supported by nearly 40 aircraft, including helicopters and water bombers.The Ministry of Emergency Preparedness and Response tells CityNews that they arecoordinating with impacted communities to ensure safe evacuation efforts.And many of those displaced by fire are now sheltering in Thunder Bay.
