I Got new artwork which you guys know I always struggle picking artwork because it feels like such a commitment and I was trying to think and I was like, oh my god And then I had the idea if you noticed already, but there's a theme here and the theme is her It's giving crazy cat lady, but in the best way possible. I saw this one and I was like, wait a damn minute. I need this. Like, is that not Rosie? It's so cute. Huh, and then I want to have a photo shoot with her where I incorporate, I don't know if this is all

going to be a gallery or just spread out throughout the house but I thought it'd be fun to have a photo shoot with her where she has her own photo. I'm obsessed Wayne. So yeah again I'm not sure if I want to have them all in a gallery or kind of have them spread out throughout the house I don't know. We'll see we'll see but I'm obsessed and I love them so damn much and speaking of house and house renovations It's all finally coming together I know I've been doing like surprises and stuff on short form video and obviously if you watch everything you kind of see it all

But the kitchen is pretty much done. I still, the dining room still, the table and the chairs and stuff won't be coming for like a week or so. This is it and I love it. I can finally start putting in all of my plates

and silverware and stuff. Oh, I don't even know how to open them. Like, oh, there's so much room, it's insane. So tomorrow if I have time I want to start the process of finally putting everything in and organizing the kitchen Look at this lovely trash Wow, I Genuinely cannot believe how fast this was done. I'm so thankful. I feel like everything's such a work of art

I just like I love it so much. I love the tile. I love I love Everything. So yeah again, I know I have to leave right now But if I have time tonight or tomorrow morning I'd love to start the organization process of putting everything back into the kitchen and then we can stop living in this mini kitchen I love her and she's been so good to me, but I'm excited to get rid of her. Also yesterday I was playing with my coffee table and I did this. I think I like it I might change some of the books out, but I feel like it makes it feel more homey I don't know if you guys remember

But I just had like the square marble thing which I loved that it's over there right now But I was like I just want to see what this looks like as a proper coffee table not proper But with books and all that rest of the vibe and I love that idea so I obviously didn't have them patch the holes for these I'm gonna try to find other shelf options obviously at least of my priorities right now we'll get to that I'm eventually gonna get rid of the disco

ball because I love her but it's been what five years almost six years of it being up which is crazy Where you live like whether it's like you do one corner you do one room and then you like you do another one like you're Never fully like wow, everything's perfect, which is fun, though I feel like it's more fun that way cuz you can always have projects and stuff I feel like now that I see the and that'd be a fun little challenge for me Like I feel like this doesn't go anymore. You know what I mean? But that's good. That's on growth. That's on growing up

I feel like I haven't just talked to you guys in so long. Let me know how you're doing I know the world is insane right now. I can't even talk about it because it pisses me off so much. I didn't study political science Okay, but at the same time I feel like there's just so much inhumane things happening in the world and it's so sad Seeing so many like families torn apart and just people being not treated as human beings the world sucks right now And it's really shitty

But I hope you guys always feel safe coming to the podcast and listening to us gab about whatever or coming to the vlogs and hearing Me talk about me forgetting my coffee at home like so many insignificant things I hope a vlog can bring you a little bit of joy or escapism and just be able to take care of yourself. That's my my biggest passion in life is that exact thing. Even during lockdown I just had this over sense feeling of like this what I'm meant to do right now is just to make people feel comfort. I got the okay from the contractor and everything. They are officially done with this. My chairs and new dining table are supposed to come tomorrow, but then after that it's done, which is literally, like I am so excited. So thanks for the patience and honestly it's happened so fast. We made some coffee and I'm gonna start putting stuff away

in my new project.

Oh, I'm so annoyed, my Hue lights. I don't know why these two like got disconnected. I think just when they like, I think they accidentally removed, accidentally moved them all over. And, but regardless of that, these two aren't showing up in my app.

So I think I need to get a ladder and take them out and then scan the serial number, which is so frustrating. So I should do that right now. I just don't want to. Also I started my period today, so I'm kind of cramping. I'm so confused. I said turn all lights to daylight, but then why is it not turning four of them to daylight?

I'm like, maybe I can like reset it.

2020 it's crazy that that was six years ago because she doesn't look that much older Karen hasn't seen any of the new kitchen yet actually seen a little bit but the dining table just got delivered today and and my chairs did, but my chairs aren't up. I still have to unbox them.

So we actually found these dining chairs off of Etsy. I would have never thought to get big furniture off of Etsy and these were so cool. They're the exact style we were wanting and way cheaper than like oh my god I love I love I love I love I love for I'm 99.9% sure we ordered six. So I think there's more coming But now I'm not positive you got Okay, so I just looked up everything they did ship all of the chairs in two different shipments

So the other one is scheduled to be here actually anytime it said from 1 to 5 so I'm excited to get the other four there's eight total which makes way more sense for a second I was like wait did I only order four but no that makes so much more sense I feel like I'm just excited to like sit here and journal and do all the things I'm like I'm really excited and then on Friday I'm gonna have someone come over to lower the lights to get it like perfectly where it looks better and then cut the excess and then hang up

the photo that I want hung. I can move the plant over now, honestly, and then we just still have, I already mentioned, the curtains getting installed, but other than that, it's done. Oh, and then obviously the barstools still need to come,

but those'll be easy. I obviously meant to start yesterday I got a little bit of stuff done just adding like plates and and things in but I'm gonna Honestly focus on that right now and do more because yeah, I didn't really get much done yesterday. I'm also So annoyed with these lights still the software update didn't work So I'm going to go get the ladder and take these out and do it myself. Like how ugly. Okay let me get the ladder. I added all my other hue lights like the tall ones and then I moved this plant over here and I love it. This is from West Elm if you're wondering I do want to get better though at having real plants. I know I know I think I can do it I think it's I think it's something I think I can do it I just like it's the vibe of real plants is so much better than fake ones. Obviously one's plastic. But anyway, okay I'm gonna start refilling as much as I can.

And honestly, I get that mentality but at the same time it actually helped so much because now I have so much less stuff I feel like it made it so much easier to get everything out and then everything back in to like purge ahead of time you're like oh my god we'll just have you come back and kind of do like a touch-up after we get everything done like reno eyes and stuff

I normally have these like in a stand bowl thing like right here and then I was trying to find the base for it. Is it this? This looks too small but now I'm like and It's crazy because I'm like I swear I should know this but this feels like it's not This feels like it's not it. Most people probably disagree with me but I know it works for my brain. I can't get over how much more room I have like what am I supposed to put like I can't even reach it up there what am I supposed to put up there? I just can't believe it's the same it's essentially the same size of space where cabinets were and there is probably two times as much room as there was before, just based off of the actual design of it all.
