ORNSTEIN BOMBSHELL: Arsenal Want To Sign VINICIUS JUNIOR!

Hi and welcome along to AFTV with some big breaking news that Arsenal are exploring signing Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid.Absolutely big, big news there today.We know that Arsenal are after a left winger and this story has been broken today by the respected athletic and BBC journalist, David Ornstein, who says exclusive, Arsenal are exploring a move to sign Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid.Arsenal interests at an early stage and clubs have not yet been in talks but the idea has been approved at all levels.He then goes on to say that much rests on the contract process as there's no breakthrough yet and Real Madrid do not want a free exit and that's what David Ornstein has exclusively reported today.Now it's not a completely new story because it's been something that's you know, been spoken about for a couple of weeks.

I think it was a couple of weeks ago when I first did a video on it here on Transfer Daily where I spoke about, you know, us being linked with him.

But this is more because what David Ornstein is basically saying is if Vinicius Jr. becomes available, Arsenal will be interested in signing him.It's been approved at all levels and Arsenal will be one of those teams that will try to sign him.And this is big news.

Now, of course we know we missed out on Morgan Rodgers.Morgan Rodgers ended up going to Chelsea, £170 million, new record.

Arsenal still looking for a left winger.Who is the best left winger in the world?

Well, listen, I'd say it's Mbappe, second, Vinicius Junior.That's one of the problems that they've got at Real Madrid.They've got the two bestin that position.Vinicius Jr. wants to be number one.Mbappe is the number one.

There was a lot of stories coming out of Real Madrid saying that where the president said that next season, they're going to ensure that Mbappe plays in his correct position, which is that left -wing position.There's also the fact that that Vinicius Junior is in the last year of his contract.It's crazy to think that Vinicius Junior, next season, if he doesn't sign a new deal with Real Madrid, can walk away for absolutely nothing.

And Real Madrid know that they've got a player, a real high -value player, and there is no way they want him to walk away on a free.

His contract's up in 2027.So they've been negotiating with him, they've been trying to get him to sign a new contract, But it looks like maybe, you know, with a lot of the stories that have been coming out of Madrid, that Vinicius Junior wants assurances.He wants to be the number one in the team, but he's not going to get that.The number one in the team is Kylian Mbappe.And also the fact that Vinicius Junior, he's had a real sort of strained relationship, not only with the fans over in Spain in general.We know, you know, there's been a lot of, you know, stories, racism and, you know, you know, really bad abuse that he's received off of a lot of fans.

But also, he's had a lot of, you know, ups and downs with his own fans at Real Madrid.He's not always been the flavour of the month at Real Madrid.You know, I mean, there's been a lot of, you know, times when he hasn't quite got on with the fans there.Same with Mbappe as well, of course.But that's happened quite a lot of times with Vinicius Junior.

So, it could be that this summer, that Real Madrid decide to cash inon Vinicius Junior.

And then also, the news yesterday, and when you start to look into this, the news yesterday, that Real Madrid are trying to sign Jan Diamande of RB Leipzig.I know that he plays predominantly on the right -hand side, but he can also play on the left as well.Where does that leave Vinicius Junior?If they go and bring in a player like Diamande, where does that leave Vinicius Junior?Because, you know, If Real Madrid are going to outlay so much money for him, which is probably going to be about £100 million, what happens, you know, again to Vinicius Junior?

And do they, you know, try to get back some of that money that they used to get Diamande by selling Vinicius Junior?Certainly this is big, big news.

As I said, it is not certain yet that Vinicius Junior is going to sign a new contract at Real Madrid and Arsenal are showing a big interest in trying to sign him.Huge news.

I want to hear from you guys straight away if you would have Vinicius Jr. at Arsenal.What could he bring to the team?I mean, listen, his goal -scoring record, his assist record is absolutely unbelievable.We saw him in the World Cup.He was Brazil's best player.He would be an upgrade on the players we've got out on the wing at the moment.

He would be a player that would excite every Arsenal fan.I mean, I got wearing the new Arsenal shirt.Imagine this with Vinicius Junior on the back and that.Imagine how many sales they'll do in that.I mean, this would be Arsenal's first, I'd say, superstar signing since probably they signed Mesut Ozil.We don't normally do these type of signings.

So what would this bring to Arsenal if we could get this deal done?It would be absolutely incredible.I would love to see it.I would love to see it.And listen, there's been a lot of fans.I mean, we had this discussion the other day on Forever Arsenal.

There's been fans saying, listen, we just won the league, man.We're supposed to be making this statement signage.Jack was saying it the other day on Forever Arsenal.It would be big.But let's just caution each other right now.Number one, it's going to cost a lot of money.

Even though he's only got one year left on his contract, it's going to cost a lot of money.Real Madrid, you know, if Morgan Rodgers costs $117 million, what is Vinicius Jr. going to cost?They're going to want up to nearly $200 million.I'm sure of it.You know, it's going to be, it will easily be over $150 million, even if we've one year left.There'll be other clubs interested in him.

Chelsea will probably, or Chelsea might be thinking, wow, why did we go and get Morgan Rodgers for when we could have got Vinicius Jr.?But Chelsea might be interested.Man United will probably show an interest in him.

you know, um, what, Manchester City will be interested.It won't just be Arsenal.But I think the fact that Arsenal have approved this gives them a good chance.

Also, Arsenal, in recent times, history of having a lot of Brazilian players.We've got Gabriel, we've got Gabriel Martinelli, we've got Jay Zeus.It's, you know, we're in London.

Again, those things might be very, very attractive to Vinicius Junior if he decides to move.This is really exciting news, but at the moment, as I'm just saying, Slow down.Caution.But, these sort of things are the first steps.And we all know as Arsenal fans, that normally, these type of sign -ins, they're, you know, when these players become available, in the past, if an Arsenal fan said, I wouldn't mind getting him every, like, other fans are like, yeah, yeah, shh.You're not involved in this.

Well, we are now.We are involved in this because, as David Ornstein's saying, Arsenal, if he becomes available, will make a move for Vinicius Junior.So let me just repeat that news to you again.It's David Ornstein.As we know, respected journalist, you know, this guy don't just put out fluff.We know that.

That's one of the things about him.
