Renata Ford, wife of the late Rob Ford, dead at 55

The wife of late Toronto Mayor Rob Ford has died at the age of 55.Premier Doug Ford confirming the death of his sister -in -law Renata Ford in a statement.He says, quote, my heart breaks for Stephanie and Dougie.They've been through so much at such young ages, and losing their mom is incredibly painful.He's asking people to respect their privacy during this difficult time.The cause of death has not been released.

Renata was best known for standing by her late husband, Rob, through his many controversies as Toronto's mayor.She later ran as People's Party of Canada candidate in the 2019 federal election.
