Good morning guys! Welcome to the vlog! Hello! The sun is shining. I'm feeling so good. I found my tripod, which is very exciting. The past few blogs, you guys have just been balancing on random things, paper towel holders, boxes of energy drinks, a single energy drink, whatever I could find. Finally found my tripod again. Yay. Hello. Today we are up. We are heading out out because Cal and I are gonna go grocery shopping for the first time in the new House, but we all know the rule of thumb do not go to the grocery store hungry. Am I right Cal?

So true. I cannot wait to buy eggs. We don't have eggs and you guys know I am a certified egg lover I eat at least a couple eggs a day and we haven't had any. So I'm really excited to go get eggs today so I can make them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and snack. I've been craving some ramen,

which we don't have my specific ramen that I like to eat when I'm craving. Well actually, I kind of crave a different ramen every time. The one that we do have here is the tumba which are kind of like their version of pull doc carbonara. Speaking of pull doc oh my god wait wait wait can I have that pink box baby I want to show them. Do you see what I got here I opened up all my PR yesterday and I have some fun packages to open today we are going to finish

fully unpacking today I finished a major chunk of it yesterday and I woke up just feeling lighter brighter more amazing if you are fellow people who love being organized, then you know how I feel right now. I'm like on top of the world. The light is just shining in here. It's clean. I'll show you everything that I did, but let's open this Poole Doc PR box that I got. I have no idea what's in here. It came with a very nice note that was like, Remy, for being a fan. If you guys didn't know, oh my God. Wait, I'm actually so excited because I was going to get some of them.

These are the Pulldogs sauces. We have the hot sauce, which these are so good on dumplings, on noodles. We have two of the carbonara, one of the original. I think I've only tried the carbonara. So, so, so yummy.

So that's in the top. And then if we open up the drawer, I wonder what it could be. Dun dun dun dun dun dun. Oh my goodness, Cal, look at this. Wow, never did I believe I would get Bulldog PR.

Oh my God, okay, we have one of each of their noodles. We've got the two times spicy. I barely can put any of the spice in the carbonara one, so I definitely won't be able to do any of the other ones, like the full packet, unless I want to actually shriek and die. I will say though,

my spice tolerance has gotten a lot better lately. I don't know what it is. I crave spicier foods more now and I can go spicier. So we'll see. But we've got the two times spicy tried the carbonara and I kind of thought they were the same. So I wonder if the rosé, maybe it's just a little more spicy. We've got cheese, we've got habanero lime,

and then we've got, oh, I think this is just their original stir-fried ramen. Amazing! Well, with that, we have some noodles here. I did make an order on Wii for some specific Asian food, things that I cannot get at not the Asian grocery store. That's coming later.

So I'll do a haul for you later of that. Also, if you guys missed yesterday's vlog, we went to a Swedish candy store and I got some amazing Swedish candy. Hi guys. So we had a little Patreon shoot today.

And it's just so appreciative of little gifts and things and it's just so sweet. So I'll get there a little taste test later.

As I said, we set the closet up upstairs. I could not recommend these little drawer things less you guys They're like do you see this like velcro? Plastic drawer it took us so long to build these and then also they're like literally so flimsy and horrible I could not recommend these last but I will say the shoe rack was nice So I set up all the shoes over here. You guys know I'm always in comfy shoes like right now So we brought lots of comfy shoes lots of sandals because it's summer a couple pairs of tennis shoes and then all my Crocs that I got in Japan. That's just kind of the entirety of the shoe rack

We also have our pretty basic live shows coming up which we got styled for so these are the heels for that Otherwise you will not catch me in heels ever and that's a little setup We have over here for like bikinis skirts all my kind of overflow And then I organized the closet with all the clothes. Looks fantastic, super easy to find everything.

Okay guys lunch was so delicious I ordered some shirts to arrive to eat the Mariah's house for today's video And I just checked and they're not coming till tomorrow now and we need them today. Thank God I checked here because we're at the mall, obviously, so I'm gonna go find some shirts for us to wear

before we go grocery shopping, go home. I wanna try and organize the bathroom before we leave because the lighting is good for the vlog, so I wanna to move here. It's just, it's a lot more family oriented. So there's kids everywhere, it's so cute. And loud.

Here we go, we found Original Teas. Thank God, honestly, thank God I checked my Amazon now and not later. Perfection, these look great. At the grocery store, first off, getting heirloom tomatoes. I'll do a whole haul when we get home, but using these reusable grocery bags, we've got bok choy, potatoes, we've got some heirloom tomatoes,

got my eggs, and they're on sale. We found this peach hot sauce, that sounds really yummy, gonna try this. Okay guys, we are back home from the grocery store, and that was quite over stimulating. I didn't really show a ton because there were so many people in there But we are back and we do need to leave in like an hour so to go to the patreon shoot

So we're gonna do a little energy drink to wake up. You want to split this with me? You're having a cold brew if you guys saw I got this a lot of new Sherbert swirl the other day and I'm going to have it in my new little cup that I got it at the Hello Kitty Sanrio store and a salsa in the lottery little thing that they had Oh, she's so cute. Ooh, tomorrow I'm getting my nails done, which I'm so excited because I've loved the nails that I got for Japan. First off, my cinema roll that Perla gave me popped off somewhere on the trip, but it's been fun to like feel.

The only other thing is that these like sharp sparkles, if you can see, keep cutting me everywhere. So I'm excited to just do a smooth nail tomorrow. I'm not gonna have a whole energy drink because it's already the afternoon and then I won't sleep tonight. Just a little bit to wake me up.

Mm, oh my God, it's so good. I love that flavor. That might be my number two. I think Cherry Twist is still my number one, but they might be in competition for the first spot. of all the stuff that we got at the grocery store, slash also I did place that we order and it arrived. And also we're really excited because

Cal and I drink tea, some sort of variation of tea every single day, whether it's peppermint tea after a meal, matcha, we're always boiling water. And I swear, I put the kettle in the pack section to bring to the rental. We cannot find it anywhere.

And I will say, I've been really wanting a kettle like this for so long so I took this as our excuse to get a new kettle because it's not here. We actually use it every single day. I will say I've never seen this one before. I was going to get the one that Ash has which if you guys have seen it, it's like the gooseneck kettle. It's got like a really skinny little edge and the reason why I wanted that specifically is because you can control the temperature. The kettle that we had before, we love, and it was really cute, but you can never control what temperature the water gets to, and with matcha, you don't want your water to get too

hot because you can actually burn it. So for me right now, I've been trying to catch the kettle before it actually boils. Like I don't know though, because it just like is on and then it switches off when it's boiling. But obviously it depends on how much water you put in there, all that, or I'll boil it and then let it sit for a while, which sometimes I forget. It's just a whole thing.

Obviously it's not a real issue, but now that we need a kettle, I did some research and I found this one and I'm really excited. It's from the brand and they make incredible products. And so Cal and I are super stoked about this. We're gonna wash this and then absolutely break into this

like right now. I've never seen a kettle like this. I thought it was so cool.

This is called the Moon Kettle. Oh, it's beautiful. Okay, so this is the base. And obviously something I was looking for was the ability to control the temperature of the water. So you know, I can make boiling, scalding hot water for my tea.

I can make boiling, scalding hot water for my cup of noodles. But when I'm doing my matcha, I can control the temperature. So this is the actual, like, base for it. Here this is. And then, what I thought was cute, but oh no, there's a sticker. Beautiful, okay. You can adjust the temperature on the side, you can hold the temperature at a certain degree.

And then, I thought this was really cool, the actual kettle itself, instead of being a gooseneck, which sometimes I get really impatient with a gooseneck, because I'm like, I just want to dump water in. This is a very traditional shape of kettle. Like if you go to a Japanese tea house, if you are getting tea at like an Asian restaurant,

this is usually the shape of kettle. And I just thought this was really cool and kind of a nod to, you know, traditionalism while also being really cool and modern. So it just pops right here on the base and it's an electric kettle. I just thought it was so beautiful and really, really cool. And I'm really excited to make my matcha with that every single morning. So with that, we will set her up after we finish this massive haul of stuff. Let's move on to the groceries that we got at the store.

We got a bunch of random stuff. First off, I got this unsweetened coconut milk because, let me find it, I wanted to make chia seed pudding. This will go with something that I got from Wee, which you'll see after. I love chia seed pudding. It's one of my favorite breakfasts, snacks, anything, whether I put it with like fresh fruit, strawberries, blueberries.

I love it with mango. All I do is I just mix chia seeds with specifically, I like coconut milk, but you can use any milk. A little sweetener, a little honey. Oh, I needed to buy honey. I forgot to get honey today. a little maple syrup, a little vanilla syrup, whatever it is, it's absolutely delicious. You can put matcha inside. I love chia seed pudding.

It's like my favorite texture. Okay, then I got some chicken, bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs, as well as just some chicken breasts that we are going to put in the fridge right now so they stay fresh, but I have a recipe in mind

that I wanted to make with bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs. And I wanted to get extra so that we can have leftovers because I love having chicken leftovers.

Other things we got.

Oh, I'm so excited. We got some bacon because I plan on making bacon wrap dates. This is the true story. I don't know. This is crazy. Bacon in a box is crazy,

but it was the bacon that looked the leanest. So much of the bacon is like so fatty and I don't like a lot of fat on my bacon But one of my favorite things to have ever is bacon wrapped eggs. All you need for that is dates I like to get the dates at the farmers market because they're so extra juicy and like sticky and sweet But I feel like these look really good too. These are the nature's anthem dates from Coachella Valley. They're really beautiful It's a box of dates. So basically all you do is you take the pit out you fill it with goat cheese So I got this Laura Chanel goat cheese channel I don't know if I said that right basically all you do is to take a date you cut out the pit and then you fill

It with goat cheese. I have here some goat cheese you wrap it in bacon stick a toothpick in it And then you bake them and they are absolutely life-changing such an amazing party snack like you don't even need any sort of like sauce or anything on it if you wanted to you could do like a drizzle of honey or balsamic vinegar or balsamic glaze a little flaky salt they are so fantastic so got those to make as a little snack we also got some turkey bacon for breakfast one of my favorite turkey bacons we got some cheese shredded Mexican cheese because we have tortillas here to make like wraps and quesadillas with we've got baby Swiss

cheese slices for sandwiches oh this is my favorite, favorite prepared food that Air One makes. This is the raw kelp noodle black pepper sisi. I think it's cashew cream. They are fantastic. I crave this all the time.

I need to figure out how to make it. It tastes so good. I actually crave these all the time. It's kind of like their play on Cacio e Pepe, but it's with kelp noodles. And I just like the flavor and the texture of it so much. So if you ever go to Erewhon and you wanna try,

I personally like it. I do think it's more of an acquired taste, but I love them. It's got shiitake mushrooms on there. I got some Par of my favorite eggs These are the happy egg company heritage free range if you guys have seen they're the blue eggs

I love them so much and also I got two dozen because they were well I usually get two dozen cuz I eat so many eggs But they were also on sale and both of the packs that I picked up only have two brown eggs I thought that maybe that was a good luck sign. We got the eggs. Okay other things we got we got strawberries and blueberries. It is berry season. Love it They're so delicious and fresh. We got some butter lettuce just to have for whether we're doing like a protein style burger salad, whatever Oh my god, I've been on an insane Kiwi kick lately

They didn't have the normal green Kiwis, but they did have golden which honestly I think I'm a sun gold Kiwi girl Anyways, you haven't tried them. They're like less fuzzy on the outside a little bit sweeter a little bit softer I think and I really like that. These are the sweeter golden Kiwi

But I love to just take Kiwi cut it in half and then eat it with a spoon You can also eat the outside of the Kiwi if you didn't know which I thought was crazy We got a little vitamin C pack here gotta stay healthy. We got some bananas for smoothies, banana bread, whatever. Speaking of banana bread, we got a piece of banana bread. We got a brownie also, and then we got a cookie because they're a little baked good, they're so yummy. Two avocados, we also got avocado oil.

A lot of people ask, why is it that I can cook with avocado oil and have no problems and not eat avocados? And the reasoning is it's the protein in this that gives me the allergic reaction. So don't worry, even Calvin's like, are you going to be okay? I'm like, yes, I've been cooking with it forever. I'm okay.

I don't have a reaction to this, but I do have a reaction to this. So in case you're wondering, we got the peach hot sauce as you saw, looks delicious. I feel like this will be so good with like a pulled chicken, a taco, literally whatever. I love anything sweet and spicy. Here's that cookie that I got. I got a couple lemons just for lemon water, put in tea, whatever. We always have lemons on hand.

I will say we don't have like a fruit bowl here, so we're just gonna have to make like a fruit pile. Couple sweet potatoes just to roast up and have as like a side dish. I love sweet potatoes. I love the Airwond brand hot sauce as well. So so yummy. So I got this to keep in the fridge

We ran through our other bottle so we didn't bring it here, but it's a delicious hot sauce It goes well with like everything in general, but I especially like with breakfast as you saw we got bok choy We also got our heirloom Tomatoes and that is everything that we got at Air One today one more sweet, a lot of random stuff. Okay. I'm back. Cal is going to put the groceries away as I open the other stuff. Wee. I really liked them. I use the app. I literally ordered this last night and it comes today.

They come so fast and I wanted to stock the pantry with stuff. Okay.

I've seen everyone and their mom talking about gotta give it a try. I'll do a TikTok on it because I love crunchy stuff. Like I got these rice crackers in Tokyo. I love a rice cracker snack if you know me. So we're gonna give these a try and see if we like them or not. Cal and I love these little potato sticks. If you guys watch the Tokyo vlogs, all we got for snacks pretty much at Family Mart were these potato sticks because we love them. These are the double cheese. I like the ones here because they come

with a resealable top on the bag versus in Japan they come in like these little cups that you can't reseal. We got the double cheese flavor.

Oh yeah.

Oh yeah, we got the umami seaweed flavor and then I think I got one more, yeah. I got the butter,

I'm like, man, this is so good.

It's, you know what you should do, babe? You should do a little bowl and mix both flavors together.

They're so yummy. They're like little potato sticks. They taste like french fries almost. Love this so much. This is called pushu pushu. It is basically if you grew up just eating dry ramen. That's what it is It's a dry ramen snack and I will say I've been really snacky at night lately And this is like my perfect watching TV night snack and I'm definitely gonna do that tonight I got the spicy chicken flavor or no grilled chicken flavor. They have beef. They have like seafood

They have all the different flavors, but I've always been a chicken girl. Have you tried Pushu Pushu yet? Never. It's amazing. Did you eat dry ramen growing up? Oh, look at Cal made our own little vegetable bowl. You're so cute. Did you eat dry ramen growing up?

No, never.

I feel like that was such a great- My parents never even like made ramen.

We grew up in the South. I mean it makes sense, but you got to try to push you push you I'll get his reaction later Okay, I got also a bunch of drinks. I love these bag drinks very Korean obviously And what's really cool about these is they don't have to be refrigerated So you can just keep them in your pantry and then when you're ready for a drink throw it over ice I've been really liking this brandeokguk which is seaweed soup. This is really good if you're sick. It's also really good postpartum. There's so many vitamins and minerals in the seaweed and it's also just so comforting. So I got this BB Go little pack

where you could just throw it on the stove when it's ready to go. I love seaweed anything and I've been lately craving this. So I've been craving soup. I got a couple other things to make specific Korean dishes that I've been craving. So I could make this from scratch, but I like just having this ready to go. We got that.

I got a couple other flavors of the little drink bags. I also got the mixed berry aid. So we're gonna try these. They're delicious, perfect for summer. The reason why I initially made this order was because I wanted to restock our ramen drawer because the one thing about me, I love an instant Korean ramen.

I've said this before. I'm not the biggest fan of Japanese ramen. I don't not like it, but the only times I crave it is when I'm in Japan and we didn't even get it on the last trip or I think the trip before I haven't had Japanese ramen in a very long time, but Korean instant ramen is my kryptonite. I crave it every single day of my life. One of my personal favorites is of course the OG just regular shin ramyun. This is what

I've been craving. I usually go for the shin ramyun black but last night I was wanting the regular so the black just has like a little soup stock base. Do you like it? Cal's trying his Air 1 brownie. Oh my god! The black one, yeah, it has like an extra packet that adds like a nice creaminess to the broth. This is just OG spicy powder. That's it. So that's what I was craving. Now, I got some stuff for my mom too because my mom comes over a lot. She'll watch the dogs, she'll hang out. She also obviously loves ramen.

That's where I got it from and she always is like, you don't have the ones that I want. So I texted her, I said, which ones do you want? So I can have them on stock, on hand for you. And so she told me, I got her these.

This is the Buul Jjampong.

Jjampong is a Korean Chinese fusion spicy seafood soup. But this is like a little instant Jjampong, which is very yummy. And then my mom also wanted this one, which it's so funny, cause like I remember growing up always having this at our house and I do like this one But obviously it makes sense if this is my mom's favorite while we always had it. This is nuggety

Sorry, if I say anything wrong, you guys know my Korean pronunciation is horrible, but I'm trying she likes these because it's got like an udon Noodle, so it's like a little bit thicker all this before but I can have it when I want I also really like the odon tongue ones. Those are really good as well Then I got some potato starch because potato starch is your best friend If you are making anything crispy a lot of times people think just like all-purpose flour I mean, I love all-purpose flour for breading and frying or air fry or whatever, it's still really good. But potato starch will take your dish to the next level to give it that extra crunchy, light deliciousness.

Like chicken kadagi a lot of times has potato starch and it makes it like light and airy, but also crispy. Cal's taking photos of me right now, my paparazzi. Speaking of breading and frying, we also have panko breadcrumbs. I always have panko breadcrumbs in the pantry Either bread something and fry it or make like a crunchy delicious bread topping for mac and cheese

Whatever always have these on hand and then I also got from the vivid kitchen. This is a low-calorie Korean chicken sauce I thought we would try this it looked like it was really popular and Cal and I make chicken all the time whether it's like A frozen chicken nugget just grilled chicken or whatever as you saw we got chicken at the grocery store. So yum Okay, next box. We got green onions a staple in any Asian household any household in general I love green onions. I add it to everything so gotta have those baby. Did you see our kettle? Isn't it so pretty? I'm really excited. I'm surprised by how light it is. Okay. Here's the thing

I will make it through these on the website or on the app It said that a three pound bag of onions was a dollar, and I was like, oh, they must have labeled it wrong. I was like, oh, there's no way that that's a dollar. It's probably $1 per onion. It's $1 for three pounds of onions on weed.

I mean, here's the thing, onions last forever, and we're an onion household onions go in everything that I cook so we'll make it through this but this is crazy Yes Yeah, you know in this sec is I think I just ripped out a bunch of them on accident I don't think it's my game. It was the question can I know it was like a self question Okay, I also got enoki mushrooms if you've never tried these they are so yummy if you like mushrooms Honestly, it doesn't really have a mushroomy flavor. I love mushrooms Cal loves mushrooms. We've never met a mushroom We don't like I really like them because they take on the flavor of whatever sauce you put them in So you can put them in soup or if you throw them together with like an Asian sauce teriyaki sauce Like it just gets really soft. It's like soft and limp, but also crunchy still. I love them.

And they're a really yummy little veggie to stir fry. I love them, love them, love them. Okay, so I got those. I also got big thing of garlic. This garlic girl is my best friend. I love her so much.

She makes my life so easy. I go through these so quickly. Okay, then, make that through. We got a bunch of Persian cucumbers. I love cucumbers on quite literally everything. Toast, salads, on their own, dips, whatever.

I think a cucumber is my favorite vegetable, actually. I just love the flavor so much. Drinks, cucumber margarina, sign me up. Next, I got Korean radish. This is called mu. I got mu specifically because I have been craving

goreumtang, which is my favorite Korean food other than tteokbokki. Those two are my two favorites. It's oxtail soup. I've been making it on this channel for years and years and years.

If you've been watching me since I first moved out on my own, I was like, wait, my mom is not gonna make figure out how to make it. It's something that I crave all the time. And I'll usually make it a few times throughout the year and then I will just freeze the soup and it actually lasts really well. I will say the radish is the one thing that doesn't hold up the best in the freezer but beggars can't be choosers.

I love Korean radish so much. I will literally just boil this and eat it on its own. It's so delicious to me. In goryeongtang you have the oxtails which I've had frozen or I got them at Costco a while ago And I kept them frozen for when I'm ready to make it I'm gonna thaw those and basically all that goes in there is like onions and radish and then the oxtails and you make this like Really delicious like collagen-y broth with it a little salt a little pepper. it's such a refreshing dish to have. So it's basically like an icy broth. You serve it with cucumbers, boiled egg, Asian pear, little beef on top. It's tangy. It's salty. It's, it's so yummy. So I always keep these on hand and this one doesn't expire till February of next year after I turned 31. Crazy. That's nice. I can keep it in the fridge all year long, but this will probably be gone in the next couple of weeks, but it's so yummy.

I feel like a hot day cooling down this also goes so so well with Korean short ribs like the two the flavor combination is insane last few things we've got a box of mangoes they were so inexpensive they had a whole crate of these champagne mangoes I will say they're very under ripe so I'm gonna have to wait for them but I love mangoes it's one of my favorite fruits as I said I want to make mango chia seed pudding. you can make it more diluted or not. But you put water in, boom, boom, shake it, and you've got a protein shake on the go. It's got 19 grams of protein, and this is the Stardust Strawberry Banana flavor. Strawberry banana's one of my favorite

flavor combinations ever. Best bet, if there's a strawberry banana smoothie on the menu, I'm getting that. on milk or water, milk would be actually so delicious. for like salmon or like a chicken, ooh, a tofu, like a marinated tofu with this might be good. I have to taste it and see, you know, the flavor profile. But citrus honey sounds yummy. And either way, I'm gonna try it with tea, iced tea. But last but not least we have some frozen refrigerated stuff first off I got two loaves of this shokupan which is Japanese milk bread because I've been craving Family Mart sandwiches I've tried this exact bread before it's good. Very calming. Hello guys, okay we are back from our shoot. It is so late. It is what time baby? 10.15. 10.15pm, we got home a little while ago, showered, got ready for bed.

I'm eating some leftovers for dinner. I did not realize that the shoot was gonna go so long and oh my God, it was so physically tiring. But it went so well and now we are home. I'm eating some dinner and I used the kettle. For the first time, if you could hear, it played a song when it started

and then also just played a song when the water boiled. My first time pouring out of our new kettle. Oh, it's a very beautiful stream of water. Making some peppermint tea for Cal and I to enjoy before bedtime. Oh, this is really, really, really exciting. Oh, it makes like the perfect amount for two cups of tea, baby. I got some editing done.

I often will take my computer in the car and edit on the go when Cal drives me places. I get so much work done, it's amazing. But yes, today was such a good day. I love this kettle, this is so exciting. Such a good day, such a fun day. And with that, we're gonna watch some TV,
