RHODES VLOG | A FUN RELAXING FEW DAYS | ZOE RAE

welcome back to another video, how are we all doing?we're on our way to our hotel in Rhodes and i just thought i'd enjoy the video now because our taxi driver is watching all my videos welcome to Rhodes yeah i'm having a tour of Rhodes and he's he's literally watching all my videos which is hilarious um yeah I thought I would just interview him but obviously it's quite funny and he was asking what I'm going to film this week and I was having a gnawing about it but I feel like now I have to because he's going to wait for the vlog Here we are, I've just arrived at our hotel, it's called Amoh and it's a new hotel, it's only opened in the last month Hello, nice to meet you Hello, take care of these, okay?

Oh my god, we're not leaving here.That's insane.Oh my goodness, that building.

even if you say you would like to stay in for breakfast you can absolutely do that hello wow wow thank you so much oh my goodness it's amazing thank you so much thank you there's a beast and a half of a club sandwich i knew we should have shared guys we have um We've been here about an hour.We checked in about an hour ago.We unpacked and we've just come to the pool.I don't feel like I'm going to properly vlog today because it has been our travel day.And to be honest, I was just saying to Danny, like, is there any point in me vlogging because I feel like we're all going to just chill by the pool.But it's quite nice to see.

I would probably like to see someone chilling by the pool, so I'm still going to vlog.But we've just ordered.It's not lunch.It's like actually 4 o 'clock here.But it's our lunch at home because we're two hours ahead.I've ordered a salmon poke bowl, which looks really weird, don't you think?

That is not a club.That is a...

That's a beast.Danny's ordered a club sandwich.

And I was like, should we share?And then we were both like, no, actually, we'll get our own bat.Reference, there's the size of my hand and my finger.That's the same with you, basically two.Yeah, that can be cut in half.That can be cut in half.

To be fair, I'm not sure I'm going to like this, Dan, so I could probably have a couple of bites of that.Should we try it?It looks interesting, I'm going to be honest.Really interesting.That is not what I envision a salmon poke bowl to look like.Okay, it could be really nice.

There's the quinoa, let's try some salmon and some quinoa.Mm.Yeah?Mm, oh my god.Wow.

Good evening, everybody.We had a very quick turnaround, actually, for me.To be fair, I'm always quite good at a quick turnaround.What?Oh, those lights in that tree, yeah.We've just had some olive trees planted in our garden, and we're looking at different lights.

I'd love to see them on later, see what they look like.Yeah, that's so nice.yeah the um gardening is that the right word like the gardening here is so niceYeah, maybe what to keep it watered we can do that we don't have much water We are just it's actually quite late isn't it what's the time done?Yeah, I like that 10 past 8.Oh look that's all closed and we're just gonna suss out the hotel aren't we we haven't actually done that yet We haven't had a proper walk around.

Oh, yeah.What was I saying?Oh, yeah, I've gotten some jaws and my the ones that I changed in H &M These are actually size 12 this brown belt with brown kitten heels and my brown bag From Olivia sales you guys will be pleased to know she very kindly sent me some more So I don't just have to wear that white one all the time.Just come over I don't really know what area at the bar area the the drinks area and we're like the only ones here It's so relaxing just to have a drink before we decide what we're gonna do for dinner, but how gorgeous is this?I've got myself a hugo spritz possibly the nicest hugo spritzI've had in a very long time.

Danny's got himself a classic, a sahi, and some nibbles.

Vibes are a mackerel.We've just walked, well, we haven't walked.Danny wanted to walk into Pepkos, but I was like, I ain't walking there.We got a taxi, it was literally a few minutes, yeah, into Pepkos, which is the nearest town to our hotel.And it is so nice.

I'm not eating a doner kebab by the way, this is chicken gyros.

It does look a bit like a doner kebab, I'm going to be honest, don't you think?It looks nice though, is it nice?Doner kebab.Yeah, we found a very nice restaurant with some live music.Danny's got a chicken gyros and I've got a fillet steak.It's actually very nice, you should try it.

And then amaretto sours, which It's okay to be fair.I'm not mad about it.Danny got a pina colada.I'll probably leave you with that for this evening and chat to you guys tomorrow morning.

Good morning guys.I didn't bring my vlogging camera to where we are now because I didn't expect to want to vlog, but I'm sorry.I can't not vlog.This is the beach area that's attached to our hotel.Me and Danny are definitely more pool people, but now we've come and seen this beach, most people seem to be chilling here.And like, I can so see why.

How nice is this?I think we're going to have a wander down and maybe get in the sea.It looks like a nice sea, don't you think?We have been in to have some breakfast this morning and we've just been chilling by the pool.We've had an iced coffee.Today is definitely just like sussing our surroundings, enjoying the hotel kind of day.

And we're going to Lindor's tonight for dinner, which I'm really excited about.

Is it nice?Is it warmer or colder than the pool?Is it colder?Yeah, warm.Good evening guys, we are heading to dinner.Me and Dani have been discussing my outfit because basically my friend Lydia, she lent me this outfit.

This is exactly how she wore it and this top is meant to be worn this way, but Dani's adamant that it's back to front.Let me show you.Like, he's literally like, no, there's no way you're meant to wear it like that.The buttons are at the back.Now he's really throwing me. I don't know, though.It's definitely meant to be like this, I'm sure.

Also, she lent me these earrings as well, which I think are really cute.We are going into Lindos this evening.to a restaurant called Cesar, C -E -S -A -R, which a few people recommended.I think it's like a fine dining thing.We've got dinner in an hour.So I think we're going to head over, have a wander around indoors, maybe grab a drink before dinner.

Yeah, I can't wait.I'm not actually showing you what our outdoor terrace space looks like.It's a little bit messy now, but we have this side here and this is our Some bedside here.Basically, it's actually mine and Danny's.This is kind of mine and Danny's anniversary trip.We are approaching our two year wedding anniversary.

So this in mind, like this in our heads was kind of like a bit of an anniversary trip.So when we checked in, um, they were like, Oh, have you got any special occasions coming up?Like, are you here for anything special?And we're like, well, it is our anniversary in a couple of weeks.So they actually very kindly upgraded us to this bigger room, which is insane.I genuinely think this is one of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in.

my entire life like this is yeah it's absolutely gorgeous incredible and feel very lucky to have been upgraded to this gorgeous room look at that that's the views from insidegorgeous yeah we are gonna Head into Lindos now, I think.

Thank you so much.What is that?Shrimp, is it?We've come somewhere called Cesar for dinner.It has the most insane views.What a lovely rooftop.

That actually needs no explanation.Lindos is so beautiful.Wow, that's insane.Amazing, thank you.

For you sir, we have the charred fry here.It's smoked, cooked and grilled in a low flame for a long time.Then we have some side toasted potatoes with some parmesan cheese.Ice cream that is grilled as well with some scissor dressing and a gravy of lemon.Enjoy the bon appetit.

Thank you so much, thank you.But hey, what the hell?oh my lord that looks so good i'm so buzzing with this to be fair i was a little bit apprehensive about ordering oh it's nice to meet you yeah i actually ordered this fishy pasta and kind of regressed it but now i've seen it i definitely don't regret it that looks so so goodgood Wow Danny that looks insane Good morning everyone we've just come to breakfast I thought I would show you what breakfast is about because it's insane everyone loves a hotel buffet breakfast over here we've just got all the pastries breads and stuff over here we have an egg station And cheeses.Ooh.OK.

That looks quite nice.

And then some waffles and pancakes.I've never really been a sweet breakfast person.I like savory breakfast.Saying that, I think I might get yogurt bowl today.Oh, wait.These look good.

These are all the different eggs you can get.Maybe I will get some of this.I was just going to get a yogurt bowl.But actually, I'm looking at this now thinking, this looks so nice.And then over here, we have some more cooked stuff.Sausages, bacon, people like shakshuka.

Oh, this porridge looks nice as well.Oh, I really don't know what to get this morning.Porridge with some cheese pies.Here behind us we have all the lovely fresh fruit, which is definitely what I was long looking out for this morning.

And over here we have like the cakes and stuff.

And then Danny's favourite bit over here.Oh my goodness.He is obsessed with this green smoothie, which to be fair, I think I am going to get this morning.Yeah, I was just going to make myself a yoghurt bowl today because I had some of this yoghurt yesterday and it was so nice.Fresh honey.I think I might, I don't know, I'm going to have to come back in and have another look.

This smoothie first.I've ordered an iced latte.Oh, you got both for you?Okay, that's fine.

I was gonna say I thought you got me one and I already got myself one.

To find out the recipe for them so we can make them at home.

I'm going to take a picture of them because it says on the side what they are.Oh really?Kiwi, honey, strawberry.

Oh, does it say on the side the ingredients?

Yeah.But it's just...

Yeah, really nice.So it tastes savoury.I've only had one sip of it and that was on the first day.I'm going to taste it.It's very sweet.I think there's actually a lot of honey in here.

To me, it doesn't taste sweet, it just tastes like soup.Like it's got nuts in it.

Oh my god, now I'm very disagreeing.All I can taste is honey.How cute are these glasses, though?We need to get some smoothie glasses at this time.They're so nice.

I think we're going to have some great breakfast platters on our little outing.

Oh, me too.Or even like a big one like this that we can serve the smoothie in.We have come out for the day.We've ventured out for once.to St Paul's Beach, which has been very, very highly recommended to us, literally by everyone.And TikTok is mad for it.

And we have just arrived.We've got a reservation.I think we have one of the front sunbeds, and then we've got a reservation at lunch at a restaurant called Tambacchio, which looks like it's going to be so nice.I've been looking at the menu, and the seafood linguine looks insane.I'm already thinking about that, and it's not even lunchtime yet.This sea is so blue like I genuinely have never seen a more blue clear sea in my life.

It's insane.Oh my god.

We have just finished lunch and we actually decidedthat we're going to rent a boat.I've heard lots of people do this and again on my tiktok searches and tiktok recommendations so many people were renting boats and they said that's a really fun thing to do.I'm not sure if we're driving it ourselves or if someone's driving it for us.

I think we're actually driving it ourselves which oh no they'll get it.

I don't know if maybe this is our boat something like this or one of these over here.

either way i'm kind of excited he was showing us the views that you see on the little trip out and it looks insane yeah i take it danny's just trying to moor us up i don't know why i'm absolutely terrified that something's gonna go wrong oh i'm such a wuss when it comes to stuff like this Is it?

Has it hit the floor?Yeah, defo.If you let go of the rope, it's not going to go.Oh, I see what you mean, yeah.Can you not wrap it around?Wait, don't you wrap it around those silver bits?

Yeah, when it's tight, you have to do that.Anyway, we just found somewhere we thought we'd want to stop because it looks quite nice and clear here.Well, not quite, it's so clear, look.You can literally see how nice.And no one else is here, so I thought it was quite chill.

I'm at the YouTube helm, but Zoe's at the actual helm.Wherever you like.When I was going, Zoe didn't want me to go fast.But when she's at the wheel, it's full throttle.Yeah, it's the flies.They keep biting me.

I just said to Danny, I feel like this road vlog has been a disaster.And I had a feeling it might be because we went up to nothing.We had zero plans.We wanted to chill.But I also kind of wanted to bring you on that chilling journey with me because I feel like we never chill together.But he was just like, oh, well, get your vlogging camera out now.

I'm like, I haven't even brought it with me.Like, that's how bad I've been.Like, I've not even got my vlogging camera with me.So POA right now, me and Danny are actually on a bar crawl in Lindos.This was someone's idea.This was Danny's idea for us to go on a bar crawl in Lindos.

We're at our second bar.I've had two, no, I've had three.I've had two and a half.Had an aperol before we left the hotel.and then i've had like one and a half mojitos because we shared one we have three between us now we're at our next bar and we've just ordered a frozen pina colada we've not really had like me and danny occasionally like a little bit of a fun day and we've not really had like a fun day we haven't done it we're like we've tried butwe like we have dinner and then we just want to go to bed yeah yeah yeah whereas we've said no dinner oh wow these are cool thank you thank you so much oh there it goes that's okay i mean i mean not pineapple all over me maybe maybe out of it yeah so like we've been going out for dinner and booking dinner um but the second we had dinner we were like oh we're tired we want to go home whereas we know a lot of people that can like go out for dinner and then sort of carry on their evening and like have some drinks and stuff second of me Danny eat because the amount we like to eat we then just want to go home so we thought what we would do tonight is we'd have some drinks and then just get like food later maybe this is all i've been thinking about the five days we were away was coming back to our boy he's absolutely chuffed he's had the best little holiday at his daycare bless him he's a good boy Danny's got the eggs out on the

lawn because we've had our grass put in just what he's always wanted this is literally what you've always wanted isn't it Yeah, I'll turn your music back up now.Guys I have just edited back my roads vlog and I am fully aware that all we did in it was eat.I didn't show you anything else but that is because we really didn't get up to much else.We chilled by the pool, we chilled by the beach and we had some food and I just thought I'd bring you along for the ride and I picked up my camera whenever I remember to pick up my camera.But we are back home and not for long.We got back last night and in about an hour and a half, two hours we're heading to the Lake District for the weekend because We've actually got, I've got an aquathon tomorrow, Danny's got a triathlon tomorrow, and we're staying at the hotel we got married at.

I'm going to vlog the whole thing as well, but yeah, I cannot wait.I cannot wait to go there.We've been wanting to go there since we got married, we've not managed to get back yet.And obviously it's our two year anniversary in a few days time.So it'd be lovely to go back there and celebrate and do this race together, take Otis with us as well.We actually, when we were away let me just move because i don't think you can hear danny's music on the um on the speaker we actually when we were in rose unfortunately had some really really sad news that my dad's eldest my dad's eldest fizzler i think he might have been on the vlog maybe a couple of times but unfortunately um he had to be put to sleep which was really really sad he was 16 he's had the most incredible life um and he was yeah he was the best dog he was actually like mine and molly's dog when we were growing up so that was really really sad but i also think it was completely the right thing to do like he was

a really poorly dog.Like he was just like becoming super unhappy and yeah, it was a hard decision for my dad and Carlos to make, but they definitely made the right one.But yeah, it was super sad, which is why I just said that Otis had the best time at daycare because he obviously was meant to spend a few days with my dad.But when I realized that's what my dad was doing, I probably thought it wasn't best to bombard him with Otis during that time.So yeah, he spent the, five days of daycare first time we had loads of updates from daycare and yeah i'm it's such a relief that we found somewhere nice that we can send him to that we trust and we like him going i'm gonna bring this vlog to a close i hope you enjoy is very different to what i would normally post and i'm sorry i didn't really show you too much but do you know what it's just background noise and like i said very different to what i would be posting about normally and i really hope you've enjoyed watching that side last little clip you saw in rose was me eating a gyros i think it wasn't that late to be honest it was probably like 11 o 'clock midnight.It was a lovely gear off, so I had a few cocktails, a few Coronas I'm sure you saw and yeah Danny and I like to do things like that every now and then, keeps us young.
