Roblox Schlep Situation Got Worse..

Okay, so I was literally in the middle of editing this video when Roblox actually released another statement against schlep and Honestly, it's it's pretty crazy This is taking the law into your hands isn't safe in the real world and it's not safe online The statement said that's why we work with law enforcement to hold bad actors accountable now I don't know why Roblox is trying to frame schlep as if he's Batman or Spider-Man, or if he's, you know, breaking into people's houses and beating them

up with a baseball bat, but like, and you can literally see him working with the police. Like if I skip forward a little bit, look right there, there they are working with the police. So like, I don't know why Roblox keeps digging themselves into this hole like I feel like Roblox is trying to gaslight us here like this is some ex-girlfriend trying to gaslight us into believing

Whatever story they keep coming up with cuz like this is this is just fundamentally not true And we know it's not true because we can literally see that it's not true I mean, there's the evidence right there Look, I'm gonna be honest. Um, like I said, I was in the middle of editing this video This was actually gonna be a fairly positive video roblox took some steps on You know taking some action against some bad actors and bad games on the platform like meep city and and now you know

We had to go and ruin it with this stupid statement. Just roll the rest of the video. What a week it's been for Roblox. We got some big news, some big updates. Let's just get into it, right? So, surprisingly, this is actually surprising.

Roblox took action against Meep City. You guys know Meep City, the online dating game. Been like that for years. Well, custom avatars and custom bios have been removed from the game. So I don't know if you guys saw this video here, but about a week ago on August 13th, I made this video seeing how long it would take for me to join a Meep City server and see something inappropriate on a fresh new account.

And I'm going to, I'm going to pause the video because I don't want to see it again. It took me about 10 seconds Okay, 10 seconds to see something bad And well, apparently roblox saw that video cuz they took some action and now if you join a meet city server You'll notice that it's actually relatively clean. I'm just gonna go ahead and mute it real quick But yeah, you're not really gonna find anything inappropriate anymore. This guy right here says I bet all the Which is weird saying I never thought that I would say that now I want to show you just how bad meep city was and what I mean by that I want to show you just how much of meep city's player base was actually online daters So here is a graph of the players for meep city guess when roblox

Removed the custom bios and custom avatars Yeah, right about right about here. And look what happened to the player count. It went from 6000 players and on average, to around 1700 players. On average, the majority of people stopped playing the game because they couldn't online date in the game anymore. That is crazy. In fact, right now, if we take a look, it's sitting at around 1,300 active players right here. So yeah, Meve City's basically just kind of dead at this point. I don't know where all the online daters are going to go, but they're

not in Meve City anymore. Now we got an update on even more countries banning Roblox. So the country of Kuwait has asked for Roblox to be banned and in fact since this tweet was published yesterday This country has since banned Roblox so Kuwait has been added to the list of Banned Roblox countries and the article even says this request follows similar bans in several countries including Qatar Oman China

Turkey and also possibly Indonesia. Indonesia has asked Roblox to open a local office and start complying with child protection regulations or else it may get banned. And if Roblox gets banned in Indonesia, that's really, really bad because Indonesia has a lot of Roblox players. I also got an update for you on this, the lawsuit filed against Roblox by the Attorney General Liz Murill

She is, or Murill, hopefully I'm saying that right, she is the Attorney General of the state of Louisiana here in the United States And of course the state of Louisiana is suing Roblox She actually appeared on the news, so Roblox was on the news today, this is Newsmax And it was like an entire 5 and a half minute segment where she basically talks about Roblox and the the dangers of The platform she said Roblox is ignoring the clear and present dangers that exist for children on their platform And are trying to cover up that by talking about the positive experiences their statements are absurdly tone-deaf

And you know I'm not gonna disagree with her on that. I think their statements are pretty tone-deaf She's given some examples of Roblox games that are... heheheheh bad for children. I don't know what this is, bro. This is a wild game.

And then of course, Public Bathroom Simulator, which we've all been complaining about. Some other games, like Still the Baby, Schoolboy Runaway, which I'm gonna be honest, I don't really see the problem in school boy runaway but either way rob a girl this thumbnail is pretty crazy not gonna lie we've got games like kidnapper story and still a girl but obviously the more this woman goes on TV and kind of talks about this the worse it gets for Roblox because you know more parents start to learn about this word starts to get out

and eventually Roblox starts to lose a lot of money in the stock market, which is already happening. Again, Roblox has already lost $12.17 billion in market share. That's a lot of money. Now, this is something interesting

and I'm sure this is gonna go super amazingly well. So the Roblox CEO, David Buzuki, he's doing a Q and a RDC 2025, and you can fill out a survey with your question that you want to ask the roadblocks CEO, you just, I guess, put in your birthday here. Uh, I was born in 1960.

Okay, check this out in the coming months roblox will launch the ability to change your avatar Directly from within any game all without having to leave or switch games. So you can customize your avatar, swap your avatar, whatever you want to do from within game. That is, that's awesome. That's amazing. Good update, Roblox.

OG Vex has left the Star program, Kindly Kian has left the Star program, and now since the last video, Thanknoodles has also left the Star program. And like look, this is a big deal. This is a big Roblox YouTuber with millions of subscribers right everybody knows Thank Noodle so this is a pretty big situation And you know it kind of sucks that this is how things have come to Stinks I I wish we could still be in it, but it's hard to support roblox at this time and state You know I mean like they just got to do better speaking of doing better For some reason you can only block 100 games on Roblox. It was found out this week that Roblox has a limitation of 100 games that parents can block.

This person tweeted and said, I have a serious question as a parent. Why is there a limit on the amount of games I can block my child from playing? And here's the image right here. Can't block experience. Your child already has the maximum number of blocked experiences.

That's kind of crazy. Now, what's weird is the guy who posted this, he put a, he put a forum post about it in the dev forum so that Roblox would see it right. And maybe increase the limit. And someone from the forum moderation team responded and said, thanks for letting us know.

We agree there is an issue and we're looking into it. So you're like, okay great This is good. Roblox is looking into this right? Well, maybe not Apparently, this is just a default message that a Roblox bot Responds with why would there be a bot that would respond by saying? Yep. This is a problem. We're looking into it Why would you have that if it's not real if it's a bot? Why would you say that like either way a hundred isn't enough?

Roblox needs to increase this or figure out a new system kind of more roblox bad news here Um, so this person tweeted I just want to point out that her name is cat girl prostate um It's insane to me that Roblox specifically tells children who use their platform to identify themselves with their real name what happened to online safety being taught in schools.

Now what she's talking about is whenever you make a display name on Roblox it says on here choose a name that people will recognize you by. Let me zoom in a little bit so you can see it. Such as your real name. And yes, this is real. If you go to change your display name, you can see right here, it says to use your real name.

I've never caught that before. I've never noticed that. Look, no matter how old you are on the internet, it is almost never a good idea to use your real government name online. And it is especially not a great idea to do that on Roblox.

So Roblox got to change this. Now Roblox actually responded to this and they said, thank you for bringing this to our attention. This messaging is only shown to our US based users who are 17 or older when they update their display names. We are working to update the current language to ensure it is clearer for all users." I don't think you should be putting your real name on there no matter how old you are, but Schlepp points out something. 17 year olds are still

minors. I don't know why Roblox has this weird thing with 17 year olds dating 17 and up bathroom simulator 17 and up real names 17 and up like if it's gonna be 17 like just make it 18 because then they're an adult like that I don't know. It's such a weird thing. I don't know why Roblox does that anyway guys don't use your real names on Roblox Okay, just just don't do it. No Roblox has posted another update since since the last video here and Look i'm not gonna read all of this they responded to quite a bit honestly again

They basically said that they're not going to be banning Bathroom and bedroom simulator games which is is again weird, like just ban them. What else are you going to do in a private bedroom and a private shower with another user? Right. Like it's going to be inappropriate. That's kind of just, you know, how it is.

But like I said last time, Roblox is debating on whether these games should be 17 or 18 plus. So it looks like Roblox might be making bathroom slash bedroom games 18 plus. Now, Roblox has another update, and honestly, this is probably a pretty good idea. Let me just show you what the update is instead of reading all this here.

So you know how whenever you click on a Roblox game, it'll say up here, it'll be like, what's the maturity level? And you have a bunch of different maturity levels on Roblox here so you have minimal maturity level mild moderate and restricted so minimal is basically E for everyone mild is like 9 plus moderate is like 13 plus and

restricted is 17 plus so like if we go back to mm2 here mm2 is moderate which means it is restricted to I believe that's 13 plus. Now there's some games on Roblox that just are not rated like this game here that, uh, that we've been using the douche slap raids and it doesn't have a rating. As you can see right here, it says content maturity, not available. And what Roblox is going to be doing is for any games that are unrated,

they're just automatically going to be restricted to 17 plus so basically any unrated games on roblox if you're a kid You're not gonna be playing them anymore and to be honest this shouldn't affect most games on roblox most big games Have a maturity rating these days so like I don't expect it to be too crazy here like again all these games have a maturity Rating it's just whenever you start looking up the weird stuff, a lot of these games have an unrated rating like, uh, like this game right here, this, uh, this R64 game, which is still not banned for some reason, by the way, but you can see it is unrated, which means it will automatically be restricted, take it out of search and limited to 17 plus

once this update goes live. Now speaking of bad games on the platform, Roblox has taken some action. So like you can no longer search up R64. It says no results found. You can no longer search up R63 again. Same thing.

No results found. And they also delisted pretty much all the bathroom games that were on Roblox. There's still a few here that they haven't taken down But like a lot of them they what the heck is that? That's just gross a lot of them. They have they have kind of like deleted here now Like I said, this is a really good start

There's still a ways to go like for example as schlep tweets out here hugger pass Which is basically smasher pass is still on roblox all of these hug games is still on Roblox. All of these HUG games are still on Roblox. Like, they got a lot of work to do, and obviously, they still gotta unban Schlepp. I ain't letting that go. Schlepp needs to be unbanned.
