ruining an entire SMP with TNT minecarts

This is the Money SMP, a 6 day long, torturous event where 30 content creators compete for thousands of dollars. And with all of that on the line, you'd expect the event to be competitive, fair, and balanced.

WRONG!

Because the event organizers made a massive mistake. TNT minecarts were allowed in the event, and they were not nerfed. Now if you didn't know, TNT minecarts are like, stupidly strong in Minecraft. You don't see me using them that often in videos, because most of the servers that I play on nerf minecarts. For example, Hoplite makes minecarts deal a fraction of the damage that they normally

do, and Strength SMP just doesn't allow them at all. But in Money SMP, minecarts were allowed and unaltered. Not only that, the game's difficulty would be set to hard, making them even stronger than they normally would be. Now, I joined this event to make a video where I used many different types of traps to win, and you'll see me attempt to use these traps that take actual skill. However, as the event progresses, the power of TNT Minecarts became too strong for me

to resist. And let's just say, some insane shit ended up happening. I hope you guys enjoy the video. Money SMP is a team based event, and I'm representing Blue Team. Our team captain is Floatives, the best Minecraft player in this entire event. We were gonna rely on him to carry us. The rest of our team consisted of smart players, reliable warriors, and Chuck

motherfucking nasty. In order to win the event you have to get the most amount of money as a team and you can get money by killing other players, capturing points, and winning events. For the first day of Money SMP, we played it safe. We geared up in a cave and got ready for the first event, Control Points. During every day of the event, Control Points would open up and teams would fight over these Control Points to try and earn money. I didn't know how these Control Points worked, so I wouldn't be able to trap them just yet.

But as we run over to our first Control Point, I realized that this would be a perfect opportunity to gather data. So as we waited for the point to capture, or for another team to come contest us, I took mental notes of the structure around me, figuring out different ways I could trap this place. After capturing the point with no resistance, we went to the next one, And that's when I realized something. All these control points were exactly the same. It was the same structure copy and pasted throughout the map, which was really good

news for me. If a trap worked on one control point, then it would also work on another control point since they're the same. So as my teammates sat on the point to capture it I decided to scout ahead. Oh my god, he does so much!

Woo! I fucking crapped on him! With purple team out of the way, we went and claimed the third point, for free. Or, well, pretty much for free. You see, one of the green team members, LuigiTuan, decided to try and 1v1 floatives and that went about as well as you'd expect.

So after killing rose thunder and earning our team $20 I went back to our base and logged off for the night and I woke up the next morning with the plan I was going to trap the control points the control points event happened every day Meaning people would come back and forth to the same control point. So by putting traps right outside of the control points, there would be a higher likelihood I'd be able to use them. But why not build traps inside of the control point? Well you see, the admins prevented that. When you place a block inside of a control point, it's automatically broken after 5 seconds. This means I wouldn't

be able to trap the control points. Or can I? My friend Shadow was on my livestream, and he realized a fatal flaw in the admin's plan to stop me from trapping the control points. And that was the ceiling. It was completely open, meaning I could drop things down on the control points from the sky. But if I bridge over the control point, the blocks will decay, dropping them onto the floor and giving the players below a heads up that I'm above them. However, if we use a block like

glass, a block that doesn't drop when it gets destroyed, there would be no trace of me. So with that plan in mind, I gathered all the resources to create a flying machine, and we headed over to the first point. I'm still standing. Did you see me? And this right here marked the beginning of the end. The entire server now knows the power of the TNT minecart. And the difference between minecart traps and redstone traps is that anybody can make a minecart trap. They are incredibly easy to build with little to no memorization needed, and they're miles more effective than something like a flat ground. My fear was that if other players began utilizing minecart traps, then nobody would chase anyone

in the overworld. Meaning all of my traps would be useless. You might have to leave, I'm not gonna lie. And there you have it. Other teams are already using minecarts. If I want to trap anybody with my already existing traps, I need to do it now, before everyone starts using minecarts.

to drop them from a tree. Now if you're wondering why I'm playing Ark Raiders, it's because my game actually crashed right before I was about to trap everybody in the vent. So let's just move on to day 4. The day started with control points, and after noticing Purple Team was trying to capture a point, we decided to try and steal it from them. Even though the purple team abandoned the point, floatives decided it would be a good It looks like he's trying to run in a very specific direction by the way. Just be careful. Yeah. I'm just gonna use TNT minecarts to win. Fl0tiv1e spotted Red team on a control point. So I went back to the base and grabbed some TNT minecarts. I was gonna try and sneak onto the roof and drop a minecart from above.

The money SMP staff had the genius idea of just putting the 5 teams in an arena. Now that might not seem like a bad idea at first, until you realize that

whoever fights first, just loses. So let me show you how this event panned out. doing anything there was no typing no mouse-clicking nothing like yo this is dead ass the worst event ever created

I'm tempted I'm actually tempted to go naked and turn off my stream and just walk out of my room like I'm tempted to do it now I'm not gonna waste your time because this event ended up lasting FOUR FUCKING HOURS it was four hours of

standing around doing absolutely fucking nothing this was the most torturous piece of shit that I've been 4 HOURS OF STANDING AROUND DOING ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOTHING. THIS WAS THE MOST TORTUROUS PIECE OF SHIT THAT I'VE BEEN A PART OF. GENUINELY. I'VE NEVER GOTTEN THIS ANGRY AT MINECRAFT. IT WAS 4 HOURS OF DOING NOTHING.

So uh, yeah. I'm not gonna waste your time with any of that. because we decided it would be a good idea to sacrifice me. Because this event just turned into a game of cross-team whoever seems strongest. So, instead of fighting, it was the mathematically correct decision to sacrifice myself to the weaker team. So fucking lame. And that's how my money SMP ended. Oh, and then we got cross-teamed on anyways and lost.
