SATURDAY NIGHT OUT AT THE GROCERY STORE

It's 7 p .m.on a Saturday night, and we're about to go grocery shopping.And listen, I know some of y 'all are gonna be like, well, why don't you go do something fun?This is fun for me.We put the kids in bed.

My husband said, Carissa, go to the grocery store.I said, say no more.

I'm there.I'm literally there.Got a crispy ice water.Let's go get this done.Smell my grandma's perfume.Graham, you here?

Okay, first things first, we need some caramel.Oh, the berries are looking a little slim today.This will get us through the next 48 hours.And you know what?Let's get some blueberries too.Well, they actually have a few different types of organic tomatoes today.

Definitely need some of this.I'm going to be making some chicken wraps.On second thought, we'll get the big one.

Oh, the mangoes are looking good today, and they're not near the kiwis.And if your name is Lauren and your mom's name is Caroline, like, all I'm saying is, is me and your mom, we're like, I'd say we're friends now.That's all I'm saying.And she let me know that she got turkey because she's gonna make my turkey chili this week, okay?And you're gonna love it.I'm so excited.

You guys are gonna love it.I need more snacks in the house, specifically some salty ones, and these sound good.In our house, Ritz crackers are actually a food group, so we're...Like I said, we need more snacks, specifically salty.Coming back to get a second one of these.

I feel like out of all the pretzels, the sticks are the best ones.Someone asked me if I'm talking to myself, and I said yes.Yes, I am.But I'm happy doing it.

I need to grab some pancake mix, and also, if you were wondering, yes, I could have done my hair before coming, okay, but it just wasn't in the cards for today, like most days.It's not even in the deck, honestly.Wait a minute, I got this one, but wait a minute, is this early, or did we just find these from last year?I'm confused.Don't look, don't look, just keep walking, just keep walking.I'm gonna walk away, I'm walking away.

I'm being good.I don't know how much longer we're gonna have these Toy Story pouches for, so I've just been grabbing one every time I see them.I just know that I'm out of my favorite beans for my chili.You know, talking to my new friend Caroline, you know, Lauren's mom, I remembered that I'm out.I'm out of the dark red beans, so we gotta get more.

Oh, while you're looking for bacon, can I interest you in some checks?I already have bacon, but I'm gonna grab another one.I did fix my hair.It was a little bit ugly.control I will admit.A little bit of tortillas.

Some of those and some of these for quesadillas.I can sense that we're out of sour cream I just know.We're in the butter section and trust me this is gonna look really bad.Yes.On the way out looking for honey mustard and somehow I'm coming across these.Honey mustard.

You know I know I said that I was looking for honey mustard but while I'm here I also I could use more tortilla chips, because I don't know.I mean, and then there's salsa right there.I told you guys to keep me away from the salsa, but maybe I'll get beans up later.That'll do.Oh, this is just magical.That was wonderful.

And now to go home and put all that away.And I might even call Carl and ask if he wants me to pick up Chipotle on the way home, because I feel like that's what you do after you go grocery shopping.You pick up food.What a magical Saturday night.I will talk to you guys later.Bye.
