Senator Fetterman hospitalized after falling on his face near Pennsylvania home

Senator John Fetterman is recovering this morning after he suffered a fall near his home in Pennsylvania. Fetterman's office said he was hospitalized in Pittsburgh out of an abundance of caution after a heart issue caused him to fall and scrape his face while taking a walk. Officials said he had a ventricular fibrillation event, a rapid, chaotic heart rhythm that caused lightheadedness.
