First off, I'm putting some dry shampoo in my hair.And if you have never tried this K 18 air wash, dry shampoo, it's insane.also it's lasted me a really long time i have like half the bottle and i bought this right after abby's wedding you're really not supposed to use a lot i definitely put like a little bit more than i should but you're only supposed to put like a couple spritzes in i bought this because at abby's wedding which was last september the bridal hairstylist told me about this product and i'm so impressed by it it's crazy you guys it's like very liquidy and it's not an aerosol as you can see it's like a normal pump I'm going to do one more.You spritz it in and then you kind of agitate your hair sometimes.I will run a blow dryer over it if I'm like in a really big rush.Right now we're not super rushed though, so I'm just going to let it air dry and it's crazy.

I touch my bangs a lot, so I feel like it kind of gets a little bit oily up here in the front.Okay, no more.We're going to leave it.But I'm telling you, it lasts such a long time.There's so much product in here.Okay, with that, I am currently getting ready because tonight we are going to a very fun event.

So TK started a pickleball club called Ones.So I'm getting ready because we're going to go to the dinner and then after we're going to go to Little Sweet Treat because it has been, I believe, a week since we went and I did eat all my candy already.So that's going to be fun.I got back from hanging out with Kay.If you guys missed the last vlog, I went down to San Diego and spent some time with Kay, which was so fun and so needed.I just love my best friends!

And that was just so cute.I will say i'm breaking out like crazy right now because my hormones are raging What can I say and guys we've been getting so many projects and things done in the house You can see behind me.There is still the massive mound of boxes and i'm gonna be honest I've been putting off organizing my bathroom and also my like makeup drawers I feel like I was doing so well with all the unpacking and then honestly, I just got tired and lazy But I am determined to get to all of this.Honestly, probably I should do it tomorrow.I need to commit I need to get it done, but the house is looking spectacular.Seriously, when I walk around, I just like smile.

I'm so happy.And we also have a really big furniture delivery coming on Monday.So we've also been getting the house prepped for that.Hold on.Gotta pluck my brows.They're looking a little Crazy out.

Okay, I plucked the longer hairs and then I'm gonna go in with my little face razor I probably should have done this before I put my sunscreen on but that's okay and just kind of clean up the tops of the brows There we go.And the mustache.Okay, honestly, I need to fully wash my face and restart my sunscreen because I've just got little hairs all over my face now, but that's okay little face wash get her nice and clean again.Okay.As I was saying, one room that we recently started to tackle that has made me so happy is our bedroom.I'd say it's about two thirds of the way done.

I still need to kind of like fill the dresser and find decor pieces and things.We've got the rug set up, did some cleaning and overall it just is so beautiful.I love waking up in this space.We put the curtains up, going to bed in this space.It's just making me very Zen and I did blog that for you guys.So I will put those clips in here.

Hi guys!Okay, today we're working on the bedroom and I have a very exciting update for you guys.I took you shopping with us at restoration hardware at the outlet and I told you that we picked up some pieces.I didn't show you guys what we got.They are here.They have arrived and they are really beautiful.

And I want to show you guys what we got.So without further ado, here you go.I'm introducing you to our new, now hear me out.They are black.And I know I've said time and time again that we are looking for furniture that is not black because we had so much black furniture before and I know, I know, I know what I said.Actually, first let me start with our bed.

So this bed was a custom made bed by Restoration Hardware.It's their cloud bed, but I got it in like a custom color, which was the black again to match the black at the old house.And here's the thing.It was a very expensive bed and I'm not gonna pay for a new bed and we have a perfectly good bed.So we're keeping it.I saw people saying like, oh my gosh, just get a new bed.

I love the bed.I think it's perfectly fine.And so we just needed to get new nightstands to go with the room.When we went to the outlet, we saw the black nightstands, and I was really just drawn to the design.Let me show you guys.It's reclaimed wood, so it's really beautiful.

It's really, really, really well made.I think this was like, it was over half off, and then another 20 % off on top of that.I also love the size of them.They're huge, if you can see, and I love to keep so many different things in my nightstand, on top of my nightstand, inside the nightstand, just like keep things organized.And also this room is really big, so the big nightstands worked really well.Again, they were a really good price.

So with all that being said, I know I said that I was straying away from black, So we spent a lot of time trying to find a wood nightstand that went with the room as you can see the floors Have like a bit of a red tone.It pulls more red on camera But it's definitely like a reddish tone and then also one of the beautiful parts of this room is it came with these gorgeous built -ins with So much space like so much dresser space.It's crazy.I love it and the wood here This is very very red if you could see it, so that's red.The floors are a little bit red Also again, I love all the storage here.I can't wait to fill these up with I think I'm gonna I'm gonna put my pajamas up here.

I do want to change out the hardware here, but that's just like later on down the line I'll find something that matches or that looks good with the room So all that to say I showed you guys that I pulled a couple samples of wood Stains and colors that I liked but I just wasn't loving with the reddish wood of the room Like I feel like this was too yellow.So it looks a little weird with the red I looked at some grayish ones, but then that was too gray We've been doing a lot of dark wood also throughout the house, but I wanted to do something different With that all being said we saw the black nightstands and we're like, you know What once we add like little accents and a rug it'll lighten it up It won't look too dark.And again, they were on a really good sale and the quality is really nice So overall, that's why we chose the black nightstands again, of course this room needs a lot of styling It needs rugs.It needs all the things but with that that's what we chose.I'm very happy with them again The quality is so so nice.So let's start setting up the room Okay, guys, I got an extra sticky lint roller that I'm gonna use to lint roll the bed.

I vacuum it all the time but I feel like the vacuum doesn't do as good of a job as a lint roller can.It's made for like pet hair and things like that.And let me tell you, if you've got dark furniture and you've got like, you know, pet hair and little like hairs and things showing up all the time, this is the move.I also have the chom -chom, but I feel like sometimes the chom -chom like spits out, wow, this looks brand new.It kind of spits out like dust and hair back onto the furniture.This is the move.

Highly recommend also with having a dark colored bed a lot of times like pillow feathers and things will pop up Like this is getting everything up with a swipe.

Wow.I cannot recommend this enough.

This is crazy Look at this before and after it's kind of hard to see because it's black But I'm telling you guys I vacuum this all the time.Like this is just picking Everything up all the lint and things like that.Like look at that.It looks brand new Highly recommend.

I like the texture of the black bed fabric and the wood.

which I love i've got my eye mask here I got an early copy of brooke abrick's new book called phoebe berman's gonna lose it.I cannot wait to read this I'm, so excited got my lemme sleeps there I'm, definitely gonna add again like wood accents here like a like a redwood accent would be really pretty to tie in all the colors But a little pop of color there definitely need some decor here and then also either like a plant Or i'm thinking maybe like a pop of green pillow would be really cute here And then over on this side we plugged in our google nest which I need to set up for the clock and I like to play music, check the weather, all those things, but it's looking good.Doesn't the bedroom look so good?I just love it so much.Cal had some friends over last night and I was just laying in bed all night long with the girls in our bedroom watching off campus.I think that's what it's called, which I've actually read the book series.

I loved the deal.I think it's actually one of the first books, like smart books that I read.And so far I like it.Much better foundation to start with for the makeup.So yes, with that, let me just do my makeup.I'm going to do my hair.

Tonight's attire is just which is amazing.I love that so much.I'm very excited about that.I'm just gonna wear some leggings and throw on a little sweater and we will head on over.And I'll see you when we're all dressed.We are on the way to the event.

Good morning guys, it's the next morning.Look how delicious this bagel looks.Oh my gosh.My goodness, I got this bagel when I visited Kay in San Diego and it is her goal to try every bagel shop in San Diego at some point.So this came from a place called Marigold Bagels.I believe we were in

I wanna say it was close to North Park, but I might be completely wrong.I don't really know San Diego too well.Marigold Bagels.Oh my goodness, you guys.It's fantastic.This is specifically an Asiago bagel.

And oh, are you kidding me?Look at that crunchy cheese topping.I got it really nice and toasty.And then I actually like my bagels plain with butter.I love cream cheese in general.Like I am also one of those people that likes cream cheese in my sushi.

Don't hate me.Don't hate I like a cheesecake I like it on a bagel, but I like a very thin thin thin thin layer And I feel like too often people are putting like this much cream cheese on their bagels And it's just too much for me.So I personally like just a little bit more little bit of butter on the bagel to really let the bagel flavor come through.You know, just have it be a nice pure bagel flavor.Also guys, we did something very exciting yesterday that I have to show you.As you guys know, we've been working on the kitchen and it is coming close to being done.

I still need to go shopping for like little decor pieces and things just to really liven up the space, but it's coming together and I'm very happy about it.Okay, listen to this crunch.Are you ready?Y 'all have a bite.As I said, we've been actively working on the kitchen and last night we did one thing that we've been waiting for since pretty much the day that we moved in.The curtain around the rest of the house.

This was the last room that we were waiting for because as you guys know, we had to clear through all the boxes.We got it all clean and organized.Guys, I can't even talk about it.Tomorrow, she turns 12.My baby, I love you so much, okay.As we know, she doesn't love being held.

Okay, sorry, it's very backlit.I love the curtains, I love the whimsy, I just love everything about them.They go to the ceiling if you can see.Oh, again, sorry, the lighting's not the best.but we put a ceiling track.Okay, I changed the settings.

So hopefully you can see what I'm talking about.It's very blown out, but the curtains are up.They're so beautiful.We decided to go for ceiling curtains.So basically the mount is on the ceiling, as you can see.So the curtains go above the window frames and they just make the space feel so much bigger.

And also I really need to steam them.That's going to take me like a whole day to do that as like a whole thing.But we went for a double ceiling mount.So the back curtain is a sheer, as you can see.So it still lets light in.Oh my, it's so blown out.

There you go.Now you can see that.The back is a sheer.So it still lets light in, but it brings privacy.And then the front one is still sheer.I didn't go for full blackout because I hate when the space is like super dark.

You can't see through it, but it still lets light through.So I'm super happy with the space.I love it so much.The only thing with curtains is obviously it covers like a little bit of the windows as you can see, like that just happens with curtains in general.

Overall, I love them so much.

I feel like they're so beautiful and just add so much whimsy and just make the space feel so light and airy.And as I said yesterday, we have a big furniture delivery coming tomorrow.We're working with a brand that I'm super excited about and this space is going to completely change.We have kitchen chairs coming in, we have rugs coming in.I cannot wait and I can't wait like half a kitchen table for there to sit at.We have the actual table.

We've just been waiting for the chairs, which is why we're always sitting at the bar.So I'm going to eat my extra crispy bagel and I'll see you very soon.Okay guys, today we are tackling the bathroom.I made myself a Genmaicha latte.It's so good.It's the new powder from Nami Matcha.

It's so good.I have so many nostalgic memories of drinking Genmaicha just growing up throughout the years.And if you don't know what Genmaicha is, it's like a green tea that you usually steep and it's got little puffed brown rice pieces in it.But this is actually like a ground up powder of it.And it's so good.It's nutty.

It's so reminiscent of so many memories that I've had from eating at different Asian restaurants with my family, like growing up after church.I feel like that honestly was like the origin of me loving tea.I love tea so much, all kinds of tea.And I love it.I will say I had Cal taste it and it wasn't his favorite.The flavor is very nutty and kind of toasty.

Mmm, I love it though, but I would say it's probably not for everybody with that today We are officially going to tackle the bathroom now.I do need to leave to go record for you today in a few hours So I'm really really hoping that I can get it done before then and also I'm still in the midst of Organizing and getting my glam room together.So I also need to figure out like what's going in the glam room What's going in the bathroom all those sorts of things.It is quite messy right now and I feel like I should show you.All right, this is what the countertop was looking like.I am not proud at all of this It's honestly stressing me out and something cool about this bathroom.

It's so messy you guys i'm getting stressed showing you right now Also, we have the boxes obviously, but there isn't a built -in vanity back here.So you could always do your makeup back there, but wanted to.I think what I'm gonna do is actually make it like a little skincare area and have all my skincare products there and then do a little skincare moment with you guys.And I do have a little chair also coming tomorrow for there, so that's gonna be super cute.My aunt brought us over.She got Cal and I both our own box of the Costco brand.

These are the Clean Skin Club dupes.She got us these and then also she was able to find the Costco makeup wipes, which I was looking for the last time I went to Costco, could not find them.Super excited about these.And with that guys, I'm just going to attempt to get this all clean.I also bought these little drawer organizer things or dividers to try to help organize all the drawers.We have so much space up here, which is so nice.

So much more space than the last house, but I just don't even know where to begin.So I'm going to wrinkle it, let's go.Okay updates wait now.I'm sounding like I'm screaming.I probably am Hello Okay.Lots of updates.

I started cleaning the bathroom as you saw.The only thing is something that we've come to find while cleaning and like organizing and unpacking from all the boxes in the house is that we labeled them, but then I swear sometimes I'll be like doing the kitchen and I find something that's for the closet or like I'm in the garage and I find something that's for Cal's closet.Like, I don't know what happened on moving day, but I started going through some of the boxes that were reachable for me and I was finding things for the laundry room.So I got that all sorted.I organized my drawers and then I wanted to get to the mountain of boxes.but I obviously couldn't reach them.

And today was Cal's rest day because he's been doing so much in the house and I didn't want to bother him and make him help me when I know he was resting.So we're going to tackle the rest of the bathroom tomorrow.But I did get cleaning on my dresser.I had some lunch.Now we're here at the studio because we're going to record.And when I pulled up, look what Mr. Tommy Fortman had for me.

I think it was like our third date.He was like, I can cook two things.

I can cook turkey burgers and I can cook quesadillas.And I was like, I love both, but I'll take a turkey burger.And I remember he brought like special buns that he bought from his local bakery.And the trick is you grate zucchini into it and it makes it extra moist, delicious.You can't even taste it.I mean, I like the taste of zucchini, but maybe if you're hiding it for your kids, they make great meatballs.

I like to make extra and then use them for breakfast, like in a breakfast bowl or they're just a linch.

here she comes, here she comes.Come here, come here, come here, come here.That's my baby.It's Daisy Mae's 12th birthday, you guys.I have to be honest, I have been so nervous about this day since the day that I got her.It's also crazy because if you guys remember the vlog where I got Daisy, that means that you've been watching for almost 12 years now, which is crazy.

Crazy if you guys didn't know I got Daisy when I was in college I was I believe 19 right after my first year of college And it was the best thing that I ever did for myself I mean she is my best friend, and she's been with me through every stage of life I mean from college till now like so much has happened And she's been with me every step of the way every place that I've lived every friend that I've made She's always been with me, and I love her so much, and I know this is kind of morbid I want to have, you know, a bit of an honest conversation.When I first got Daisy, again, I was a teenager, which is so crazy.And I just, I love her so much, but I looked up the life expectancy of her breed.And again, sorry, this is kind of morbid, but, and I know also life expectancies of dogs aren't always accurate.It's just obviously an estimate.I mean, I don't know if you guys remember this I got Daisy and very early on I think she was maybe like six months old maybe she got parvo Which was genuinely one of the scariest things I've ever gone through in my life and again being a teenager I had no idea what to do and that was just so scary because I remember my mom had to sit me down and be like hey there is a very large chance that Daisy doesn't make this and I Hadn't even let myself like get there mentally.

I was just it was a whole thing, but she's a little trooper she's my little fighter and I remember always looking up the life expectancy of Amalshi.She's a Maltese Shih Tzu.And I've unfortunately also lost both of my family dogs.over the past couple of years.And that was really, really hard.But obviously Daisy is my dog, my best friend.

Again, she's been with me for 12 years now.Online says that the life expectancy of a Maltese is 12 to 14 years.So I've been honestly like dreading this day for so long.She's totally healthy.We try to give her the best food possible.She takes her supplements.

We get her checked up very frequently.If I ever find anything, I take her immediately to the vet to get it looked at.to make sure she's as healthy as possible, but it is something that I've been honestly dreading for 12 years now.I'm very happy that she's made it this long, and I love her so much, and I hope she has so many more years still with us, but it's an emotional day.

I'm excited, and I'm happy, and I love her so much, but I'm also really sad because she's getting older.

Okay, so on the schedule, wow, I look very pale.I feel as though I should do some like self -tanner or sit in the sun very soon.On the schedule for today, I do have an appointment to go see my PCOS doctor, which also guys, PCOS just recently got a new name.It's actually now called PMOS, which I need to get in the habit of saying PMOS because I say PCOS so much.I believe it's been renamed to polyendocrine metabolic.ovarian syndrome.

I think that's what it's called, which is amazing because not everybody with PCOS has cysts on your ovaries.And I know that caused a lot of people to not be able to get the correct diagnosis or have doctors not listen to them or maybe even had trouble getting prescribed the right medication.So this is awesome.And I have my appointment with my doctor today.I tried to go last week, if you guys remember, but I got the time wrong, but I have my appointment with my doctor today.I'm really excited to see her.

I haven't seen her in a little while, just with the craziness of the move and everything that was going on last month.So I'm excited to check in with her.I will say my body's definitely been kind of going through stress, so it's a good time to go check in.And then the furniture delivery will be coming later today.I'm so excited about that.With that, I'm gonna make some breakfast and I'll see you very soon.

Hello guys, okay back in the car got my blood drawn.I also got an ultrasound today We'll do an ultrasound and blood work I'd say every other appointment or so kind of just depends and changes whenever she's feeling that it's a good time to do it No, I'm not pregnant, but we do it just to check up on everything make sure you know My vitals are good make sure that my supplements are working make sure my medications working all those things.Oh, it's getting hot in here But we're back.I love her so much.She's so sweet and just I'm so grateful for her I know I talked about it a lot But she just she changed my life in so many ways that I cannot even describe and it's been officially coming up on three years Next month, which is crazy since I found her and I'm just so grateful I didn't realize I was getting blood work done today And I definitely should have drink more water this morning before coming in and I forgot my water bottle at home Which if you're watching five big sips, I wish I had a water bottle on me. I don't I have very small veins as it is So when I know I'm getting my blood work done I'll drink like a ton of water before going in to make it easier for the nerves to find my veins.This morning I didn't know, I was running out the door, didn't drink enough water, and that's my fault.

But the nurses are so sweet.And what the?Let's go run to the grocery store We're gonna pick up a few things that we need and then let's get back home and we're gonna work on the bathroom today We're actually gonna finish the bathroom and the bedroom today.I'm determined.Whoa.Oh also last night.

Look I did new nails I've been obsessed with the impress press on the medium length.How cute are these?They look like I went to an actual nail tech and spent like so long getting my nails doneThis took me like a fourth of a smosh video.I'm not even kidding.Yay.

All right, let's go Okay at the grocery store getting lots of fresh veggies picking out some potatoes.I'm gonna do some of these little like Dutch I think these are Dutch baby potatoes Gonna do some of these.I'm gonna make a chicken dish tonight.And then I also want to grab a couple Japanese sweet potatoes because I've been on a kick lately.They're just so yummy.I'm gonna do like two of these.

We got some cheese I got some medium cheddar some mild cheddar and some American all delicious.Love me some cheese got some mini cucumbers.I got one of my Favorite hot sauces that I haven't had in so long.I love this specifically on like breakfast tacos breakfast burritos breakfast, whatever It's the yellow bird habanero hot sauce.It is spicy, but it's really good.

I also got this ponzu It was a yuzu ponzu and I love ponzu even more than soy sauce.

So I got thatI've got these gorgeous bananas back there.I got some yogurt my pantry land sisters plain yogurt I'm gonna use this for yogurt bowls use this for Smoothies, whatever.I got a bunch of kale.I'm on the side of tick -tock where that girl is cutting her meals with kale If you know what I'm talking about, you know, I'm talking about specifically.I got dinosaur kale I think I'm just gonna saute it and then keep it in the fridge because this is also gonna cook down to like very little I just love dinosaur kale.

I love kale period.I think dinosaur is my favorite kind of kale delish Got some baby bellow mushrooms.I thought it was Bella bellow.I got the eggs as you could see here They're beautiful.Look at this pretty green one.I don't know what kind of chicken this comes from Absolutely gorgeous and one little blue one so cute I really eventually one day want to have chicken so I can have fresh eggs But also I'm kind of scared of birds.

Oh, we got some plums.We got some peaches It is the time of the best produce of the year Excited about these also excited about my heirloom tomatoes if you guys have been watching for a while You know how much I love heirloom tomatoes and tomato season.My mouth is watering.I got these three little guys I like the smaller ones rather than like the giant ones just because they're easier to Finish and also kind of keep when you don't use an entire tomato for a meal if that makes sense They're easier to wrap up and put in the fridge Japanese potatoes.I got some my talking mushrooms These look a little crazy if you could see but they're delicious.They're so so yummy and these are gonna go great with dinner I also got some chicken Chicken breasts, chicken thighs, and chicken cutlets that are currently in the fridge because I wanted to get them nice and cold.

But for dinner, I think I'm gonna do like a creamy leek maitake mushroom potato moment.We got the potatoes there, mushrooms here.They're really delicious and gorgeous.I'm gonna do these with the baby bellows.Got some green onions, always have green onions on hand.As I said, leeks, I love leeks so much.

They are so dirty, in case you didn't know.Oh no, it's on my new hat.Gotta move that they're delicious.They're just very dirty.

So I'm gonna have to clean these very very well I did get a hot plate for lunch, but now I'm feeling something sweet.So I think I'm gonna make

a Strawberry protein smoothie and I'll have this for lunch tomorrow, but I got of course the miso cod some rice Some veggies potatoes as you saw my favorite got you a pepper miracle noodles.I got this red pepper hummus.It looks like vodka sauce It's hummus and I thought this would be good with the cucumbers And then I also have been loving their turkey meatballs with their vodka sauce I'll just eat like a couple of these as like a protein II snack and they're so good and I like to keep the extra vodka sauce and then use that for other things later and lastly milk half -and -half Heavy cream just to have in the fridge.So that's everything we got and I'm gonna make my smoothie Well, I'm gonna put this away and then make my smoothie.Also, these are the vibes right now.I fully opened the doors Are you having a good birthday my love?

I also made a very delicious smoothie, and here is frozen strawberries, frozen blueberries, some Greek yogurt.What else did I do?Coconut water, Chia seeds and protein powder and that's it and it's really yummy It honestly tastes identical to the chris jenner smoothie from arowan.I'm not kidding.It's spot on Also, I had a little coconut water left.So what I did is I put a ton of chia seeds in here I'd say probably a quarter cup of chia seeds and some more water and then if you can see the chia seeds have become gelatinous Like so because i've heard that you're not supposed to just throw like raw chia seeds into your smoothies It can be really tough on your stomach.

They're also a great source of fiber by the way.So what I did isI'm gonna little snack.I was feeling now a little salty snack so I made myself some of the bread from earlier and then also a couple eggs and I made them over easy so that I could take the bread and go like this.Truly one of the best bites in the entire world.Hello guys!

Okay, I've just been getting some work done around the house and now I'm gonna start making dinner.I'm watching Heart of Dixie and I've got the stove going and I'm so happy.The sun is starting to set.It's just like a perfect, beautiful night.I'm starting on my chicken recipe and I'm trying to figure out how I wanna do this.I think what I'm gonna do is cook the veggies and the cream sauce and things in one pot.

The girls are all playing.So I can keep the chicken crispy and I'll cook the chicken separately.I think that's what I'm gonna do.I'm just playing around in the kitchen right now.I'm so excited to be cooking together.again in our kitchen.

It's slowly coming together.Also the furniture is on the way.So it'd also be really nice if we could sit and eat our dinner at the kitchen table tonight when the chairs come in.I'm not sure how that's going to go, but maybe that's my dream for tonight.

I think I'm just going to do onions.

We got the sauce over here.I added the kale in.Oh my god, my mouth is watering.You know what I realized also?This is kind of like a mixture of Marry Me Chicken and Zuppa Toscana Soup.It's like those two had a baby.

It's all gonna rest and then we're gonna serve it up.Not my best plating job.I should have put the saucy mixture down first and then the chicken on top.But honestly, it smells amazing.We gotta do a bite.I'm just gonna use this mini fork that I was using to taste with.

The chicken breast is so juicy.Little bit of everything in a bite.That legitimately tastes like a restaurant.

I didn't end up doing the leeks.I'm gonna save the leeks for something else since I did so much onion and they're in the same family.Wow, 10 out of 10 guys.Mm -hmm.Look how juicy that chicken breast is.Can you see it?

Oh, yeah, we're making leftovers now and Someone can smell it.We had a good amount of leftovers So I chopped up the chicken the leftover chicken and then I put it on top of the leftover sauce put a little more sauce on top and now we've got Lunches for the next couple days or dinners or just something and auntie got us these really cute.It's the brand super cubes their casserole like little mini casserole individual casual dishes How many times can I say casserole you can cook in them or also?like reheating them and it comes at the same time.lid moment, which is really nice.And now these will go straight into the fridge, and then when I wanna reheat, I can just pop the top off and throw it in the oven, and it's ready.
