The Epstein story truly will not die. I thought it was killed the moment we started killing people in Iran, but suddenly it was brought back by none other than the first lady, Melania Trump. She suddenly started denying things even though no one has accused her of anything yet. But if you listen to her, it's clear someone's about to.
The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today.
Now, if you're wondering what lies she's talking about I don't actually know because really there hasn't been a lot of reporting on Melania Trump and Epstein. She appears very rarely in the files. The only thing I've seen is an email with Ghislaine Maxwell where they're talking in a friendly way which she addresses in this statement. Really the only other thing is reporting from Michael Wolff that Trump and Melania may have been introduced by Jeffrey Epstein, although those stories have been
since retracted. And so the question is, okay if those stories have been retracted and no one's really talking about that email, what are you what are you talking about here? Like literally what lies are you trying to get ahead of? This is just a text version of the speech she gave. She talks about people defaming her reputation, saying, to be clear, I never had a relationship with Epstein or his accomplice Maxwell.
My email reply to Maxwell cannot be categorized as anything more than casual correspondence. And here's that email with Ghislaine calling her, sweet pea, thanks for your message. Actually plans changed again and I am now on my way back to New York. I leave again on Friday so still I do not think I'll have time to see you. And Melania allegedly says, I know you're busy flying
all over the world. How is Palm Beach? I can't wait to go down. So the idea that there's no relationship there, probably not true. But again, this was not something on the tip of everyone's tongue. I mean, you can look at Google search trends, like what people are interested in looking at, and it's very obvious that this was very much not a story
until she started talking about it. This is what it looks like. I mean, this thing has been dead. This is the last seven days. If you look at the past 90 days, I mean this thing has been dead. This is the last seven days if you look at the past 90 days I mean literally nothing until all of a sudden Melania Trump comes out of nowhere on the official White House
Account and all of a sudden starts throwing around denials like she's the subject of a Netflix crime docu-series So again, the whole video is bizarre She's warning people about fake images and statements about Epstein and her
numerous fake images and statements about Epstein and me have been calculating on social media for years now. Be cautious about what you believe
these images and stories are completely false. I mean again, what is she talking about that? What photos what statements? People have not been talking about this. Literally. No one's been talking about this and let me say as somebody in media this screams she got an email saying hey, we're running this story and She's trying to get ahead of it by basically, you know, this is essentially damage control of some kind. Now, I'm not saying that the story that might run is true. I'm not saying that the story will run because this is a very calculated statement to essentially threaten the people
who are thinking about running that story, which we're going to get into in a second. But I just want to be clear that there's no real reason why this would happen. I mean again the Epstein story was dead because of the war everything else going on people were distracted to have the first lady suddenly broadcasting this from the White House account. Like why would you do this unless you had an imminent need to do it? You could just wait otherwise until everyone else is denying stuff like comms 101 you don't talk about anything you don't want to bring
attention to. And two, if you're gonna issue a denial, issue it when everyone else is talking, right? You don't issue it when everyone in the theater is quiet and then you raise your hand you go, hey guys, haha, I didn't do it! You know, that's the last time. I mean, already you don't want to be issuing denials out of nowhere But if you're gonna issue them issue them when you know everybody Howard Lutnick all these guys are spitting out denials Jess Daly Bill Gates all these prominent people are issuing denials you could be the little hand be like yeah I deny it too, but to suddenly be talking about false smears when there's no story out about you yet
It just screams. Hey. I know this story is gonna drop They probably reached out for comment or something like that. And this is her way of front-running. The story is my best guess I mean, otherwise, this is a truly mystifying action that honestly I'm happy about I've been frustrated that I can't really talk about the Epstein files because Nobody's interested in it right now. Nobody's been interested in the story lately. The pressure to release the actual unredacted files.
Remember they said they released them in full, but they are actually redactions on top of the redactions. There just wasn't a lot of momentum for that. And it just seemed like people stopped caring the moment we had all these other issues. And so this would be the biggest tactical error of all time. It might still be unless you had to respond to something and so I think the only question in my mind personally is like well what story
is possibly gonna come out and will it come out with all of these kind of threats because this is a very lawyered statement it's obvious this was carefully prepared and parts of it specifically call out different elements of defamation. They say, hey they're trying to defame my reputation. They start talking about her good name. They talk about these outlets wanting to gain financially and then
specifically this statement right here, my attorneys and I have fought these unfounded and baseless lies with success and will continue to maintain my sound reputation without hesitation. That is a direct call out to anyone who's thinking about publishing,
hey, we've done it in the past, we're basically gonna sue you if you report on this because of my great reputation. Basically beware, we will come at you with obviously the full, you know, financial and political support of her name. And here's more of what she said.
My attorneys and I have fought these unfound and baseless lies with success and will continue to maintain my sound reputation without hesitation. To date, several individuals and companies have been legally obligated to publicly apologize and retract their lies about me, such as Daily Beast, James Carville, and HarperCollins UK. Get started freesaying, hey, we've already had people retract in the past, but that brings us back to, you know, the question of, hey, we've already had people retract in the past, but that brings us back to you know The question of well, then what lies are you talking about the need to stop if you've already had retractions, right? What lies about the disgraceful? Jeffrey Epstein linking to you are we still discussing here? And that's why it has to be a new story because she's saying we've already
Defended all these stories in the past, of course signaling to anyone who's gonna drop this story hey you know maybe think twice about coming at me because we're gonna come back at you twice as hard. Now the most interesting other part of this story was the posture related to Epstein itself. Obviously we know the administration's official story this whole time is that it was all a hoax. Epstein worked alone. He only trafficked to himself and so you would expect that she would kind of toe the line and I think what is so interesting about this
statement is one, breaking the cone of silence in the first place like the whole thing where they just don't talk about Epstein unless they have to and you can see in the last 30 days the interest in Epstein was waning until all of a sudden this statement brought it all back up and so obviously that goes against it but so does her characterization of Epstein himself, which I found really interesting. She aligns herself totally on the sides of one the people who were abused who say there was more than just Epstein and
two she explicitly says it herself. She's like, yeah, Epstein was definitely not alone. And we know she can't just mean Ghislaine Maxwell either because of what she says immediately afterwards.
Epstein was not alone. Several prominent male executives resigned from their powerful positions after this matter became widely politicized. Of course, this doesn't amount to guilt, but we still must work openly and transparently to uncover the truth.
Again, I can't imagine a more direct shot at the way this has all been handled by the FBI and DOJ. She's basically saying, hey, we still need to uncover the truth. Meanwhile, the DOJ is like, there is no truth to uncover. They're saying, oh, we've already released all the files. That's Dodd Blanch's position. And Melania is saying, we still got to uncover it.
He didn't work alone. These guys all resigned. You know, we got to find out the truth of if they were guilty. the outside this is a very confusing statement and it's kind of a mystery like you have to put together why a statement like this would be made why it would be made now and I think the only logical conclusion that I or really anyone online this is not exactly a hot take to imagine that there's a story
coming I just happen to think it's like insanely obvious because I've seen people wonder like oh that's pretty dumb that she addressed this and it's like no no the only reason she would address this is if she had to address it, but obviously I'm happy about it Everyone who's cared about this story is happy She brought it up and in that way she's kind of done everyone a favor Everyone except for all the people who didn't want this to get brought back up
I mean in some ways she's just thrown them right under the bus and been like yeah, there's definitely wrong stuff that was happening in these Epstein files We need transparency. We need to listen to the victims, but you know I wasn't part of it and I think it's interesting She calls out Congress saying that we need to listen to the victims of Epstein
I call on Congress to provide the women who have been victimized by Epstein with the public hearing specifically centered around the survivors.
Again, you kind of can't imagine a position more against this administration, which is just their whole thing has been Barry, Barry, Barry. We don't care. We don't care. Even though they ran on releasing all this stuff. It's interesting to watch her come out and like the complete opposite direction. Like, yeah, we need more hearings. We need sworn testimony. We need all this stuff. It's interesting to watch her come out in like the complete opposite direction like, yeah we need more hearings, we need sworn testimony, we need all this stuff,
we need investigation. But even though I'm aligned with all of that, just remember this is all in the wider context of getting ahead of something. What? I don't know, but I think we're going to find out wider context of getting ahead of something. What? I don't know, but I think we're going to find out very soon.
