The police commissioner here in Western Australia has confirmed that Simon Karman was indeed known to police and he also confirmed what we have reported earlier, which is that Simon Karman had a gun licence which was suspended and that he tried to appeal that decision in court but ultimately failed.And all of that happened in the span of about two years before he last travelled to Thailand in about October last year, which is where we understand he has been staying since.in also been told is that Mr. Karman's latest trip to Thailand wasn't his first, that he was in fact a frequent visitor.And we've also been able to corroborate this information with people on the ground in Thailand as well, who've told us about the last times that they saw him visiting the country and going to Pattaya.Now, in terms of more details, about his history here in Western Australia.The police commissioner in Western Australia, Cole Blanche, has said that he's reluctant to share more details at this stage because of the ongoing investigation which is being completed by both Thai police and also Australian authorities as well.

Case and photographs have emerged of the room where Thai police alleged Mr. Karman killed the teenager.

That's right, Roz.So we've previously seen the CCTV of what Thai police allege was 17 -year -old Tunchanok Donhumla entering a condominium with Simon Carmen on the night that she allegedly disappeared.It's there where police say this alleged murder occurred.Now, we've been able to obtain photos of when one of Ms. Donhumla's friends visited the room the day after she went missing.And the photos reveal a room which is quite cluttered.There's a pile of clothes or laundry.

in the corner and quite a few empty bottles of alcohol as well.It marries up with what Thai police say was Miss Donhumla's or one of Miss Donhumla's last text messages to a friend on the night that she disappeared.Police say that she texted the friend when she arrived at Simon Karman's room and said that it was very messy.Now the investigation into this alleged murder is still ongoing.We understand Thai police are completing a forensic investigation now which still could take a few weeks but we know that all we understand that Mr. Karman is set to face a Thai court after that forensic investigation is completed.
