
Sinaloa Cartels Allegedly Threaten Violence Against American Citizens in Baja California

The Sinaloa Cartel's Los Chapitos faction, which is led by the sons of imprisoned drug lord Joaquin El Chapo Guzman, have reportedly issued threats directly against US citizens in Mexico's popular tourist destinations, particularly in Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo areas
in Baja, California. According to a couple of different reports, two narco banners known as Narcomantas were hung in Baja, California on Sunday, October 5th of 2025, explicitly addressing FBI Director Kash Patel and US Drug Enforcement Administration Director Terry Cole,
as well as some Mexican officials as well. The banners allegedly signed by Los Chapitas warned of retaliatory violence against American tourists and residents starting that same day in direct response to recent US lab raids, weapons seizures, and financial sanctions
