You can tell by the big smile on my face, the energy here, the fans.I'll tell you what, no one here is feeling like an underdog now, like we felt coming into this game.2 -0, Aaron Klinda and Connor Metcalf may have found a way to the back of that net, but they've also found a way to the hearts of every Aussie fan here in Parramatta Square, and I'm sure across the country, and Vancouver, and all across the world. You'll start to see some of the fans behind me now.Just amazing, amazing energy.People are jumping up and down.

Nabil, you are making fast friends there. There is so much energy. And of course, people should be celebrating. The party has just begun and it's great to see you.that there is so much to celebrate. We'll go now to Costa Jarritos, who is joining us from Fed Square in Melbourne.
We've had some stunning goals on debut, Costa, including that 75th minute by Connor Metcalf. He actually trained with Melbourne City before going international. So what did the crowd think when he scored?
What an incredible match there are some 7 ,000 mad soccer ruse fans some dress head -to -toe in green and gold that are leaving now, but it was ecstatic Electricity in the air when those two goals were scored not one but two Defying all the odds and so many fans he come in with a little bit of trepidation bit of anxiety a few nerves Of course the first World Cup game in four years and coming up against a really good Turkish side as well but those anxieties quickly disappeared with those two goals.Streamers, blown -up kangaroos, flying up in the air, people screaming, chanting. We had former Socceroo and legend Craig Foster here egging on the crowd as well. There was a small contingent of Turkish fans as well and the crowd was mostly well -behaved and I'm sure those fans will now make their way off to pubs and other entertainment precincts in the CBE tonight. But what a spectacular result for the Socceroos today.
Certainly lots of celebrations to be had.The Socceroos have blasted out of the blocks there at the World Cup.Our reporters Kosta Harutos joining us there from FedSquare in Melbourne and Nabil Amna Shah in Sydney where there is a lot of celebration being had.
