Something Massive Just Happened in Canadian Politics
Beginning of the race, I didn't know if she would... make it this far.
stalls in the first quarter. Now this headline here has got Mark Carney's name all over it, but also David Eby, and this is well a photo of Vancouver, David Eby running massive deficits ever since he took over from John Horgan.Real conservative leadership is not only needed federally, but also in British Columbia, which brings us to the BC conservative leadership race.
The individual in second place has 4514 points, 49%.The individual in first place has 4 ,696 .51, 51%.Ladies and gentlemen, your next leader and Premier of British Columbia, Kerry -Lynne Finlay.
We have Carrie Lynn Finlay won with 51 % versus Caroline Elliott with 49%.This was an absolute clincher. This is such a pivotal moment in Canadian history because currently the BC Conservatives lead in the polls by quite a bit.The BC NDP is down to 36 % that you can see this is all respondents is 804 people and the Conservatives this was without a leader at 46%.You throw in Carrie Lynn Finlay there now and David Eby's got a serious problem. So going to the next election if she can win
in the glasses, that's Corey Tenneck the second that he realizes that his horse in the race didn't win.So Korey Tanek here, I can only imagine he's pissed off. He's right there. Why is he wearing sunglasses indoors? This guy's a goof. This guy had every advantage.
Not only having the experience, he has his own campaign firm. He's done this for years. He's got the backing of people like Brett Wilson, Dragons Den, who's absolutely flush with cash, millions of dollars.I don't know how much he put into this, but I know they're running a lot of big Facebook ads, tons of money being pushed into this. And he lost. You might say this is campaign malpractice, to use his own words, that he used against Pierre Polyev.
dirty tactics and suspicious things that happened like Carrie Lynn Finlay getting accused of this, that and the other right at the very end of the race with no proof. You've got Billboard Chris resharing this one from David Denhoff.Well, as he said, that aged like milk. We've got City News, very leftist woke City News posting this.political science at the University of Fraser Valley, says Finley's election does not represent a consensus choice.Instantly trying to discredit, the NDP came out and tried to discredit her immediately.
The left do not like that she won.Was it close? You bet it was.But the grassroots won this. Now before we go on here, we need to establish what the establishment is that I refer to in this video. That's Corey Taneki.
It's what the same thing that Mark Carney did during his leadership run here and his campaign to be prime minister. It's these dirty tactics where they pull people, find out elbows up is a term that people would resonate with. They hire Mike Myers for what was it?$50 ,000.Run fear campaigns to scare Canadians.I mean, during his events, here he had his people throw people out that they didn't want there this is the establishment and that our old relationship with the united states is over this kind of rhetoric these strategies using fear to scare people to get elected.
Corey Tinek runs the same sort of strategies exclusive inside the campaign that won Doug Ford his third majority. Now that we've established what we're talking about. So I want to break down what happened here, because this is unbelievable.Starting at the bottom here, you can see back in December, there's a couple of polls here. But really, we've got to start after Aaron Gunn decided to not run for the B .C.
leadership race, because otherwise Aaron Gunn, they knew he would win.So Gunn steps out.And what do we see?We see a poll here from Palace Data that shows Caroline Elliott at 16 percent.KFL is at 3 percent. You're a former 2%, you've got Millibar at 9%.
Then you go forward, KFL goes up to 7%, Elliott at 15, and Elliott eventually goes up to 30%.There's a key piece of information here is when you look at Carrie Lynn Finley, she went from 7 to 8 to 21%.What happened in here?Well, I'll tell you what happened. There's a stacking of things. And I saw this interesting on Global News.
They mentioned this stuff, but they don't really have a clue.
Richard, when this race started, it seemed that the front runners that were talked about a lot were Caroline Elliott and Peter Millibar at the time.It does seem like KLF, Carolyn Finley, seemed like a dark horse in the beginning, but she is now definitely seen as one of the, as Keith mentioned, one of the top three.
Yeah, she's gobbled up that common sense vote, the grassroots.support of the Conservative Party. She's speaking to those who are frustrated with the mainstreaming of this party. They want to see what they believe.is this pure blue Conservative. And Carrie Lynn Findlay has been a Conservative MP, her husband Brent Chapman is in the caucus, so it's part of this Conservative purity test that we have seen play out throughout the entirety of this campaign.
And when we talk about those second and third votes, they can add up very quickly.
So they just go into talking about the votes here. They basically saying that she gobbled up votes. She was a dark horse. They don't really know why. What happened between 7 % and 21 % in the matter of going from March to April. Now, if you've been watching this channel for a while, you know, I dropped some nukes on most of these candidates because most of them are liberals.
I don't like what they stand for.I don't like the DEI working with coastal First Nations or former liberals for years donating to the liberals 50, 60 times, whatever.Like that's not someone who should be running the Conservative Party.I didn't like where it was going. It was quite obvious that Carrie Lynn Finlay was the only real conservative with experience that should be running the party. There was a couple other people that were conservative, Warren Ham and a couple others, they dropped out.

Get started freeOnce I got a good sense of everyone, I decided I was going to go full in on helping Carrie Lynn Finlay.I wanted to see how much reach and how much influence does someone on social media really have.I'm not someone who likes to boast about my numbers, this, that and the other, but I have the most watched political, long form political podcast in Canada based on long form views.I've got big reach on YouTube as well as pretty big reach on Facebook, but not as much on I've only got 40 -something thousand followers on X, but I knew that Mark Nixon has a huge audience.I started dropping bombs on some of these candidates.I reached out to Mark Nixon.
I got him on board.I dropped a video on Caroline Elliott, on Peter Millibar, on Yuri Fulmer.Mark Nixon dropped one on Ian Black.I knew if the two of us could start snowballing things on X, then other people would join in, and that's exactly what happened.Pointing out the numbers, I mean, this video alone here, BC leadership race thrown into chaos, 121 ,000.So when you get videos with 121 ,000 people, and I get it, I make content for all of Canada, you still have thousands of people who see that and vote?
We can change things around here with social media and our platforms.I mean, he's re -sharing some of my stuff here, 14 ,000 views. You've got another one here, 45 ,000 views.British Columbia has a superhero.Carrie Lynn Finlay just went full action hero.Mark Nixon has a massive audience here, 116 ,000 followers.
Did an interview with her. This is the power of social media where we can fight back against the big establishment now.And this leadership race has proven that. We've got Billboard Chris sharing this interview here, 101 ,000 views on Twitter.Bruce McGonigal. We've got massive accounts like Table Salt, 47 ,000.
Not to mention my numerous other videos here.This one's got 88 ,000.Another one was 66 ,000.These are on Facebook.This one's got 92 ,000.This one's got 73 ,000.
Not to mention Anthony Russo stirring things up.This video has got 60 ,000 views when he stepped down from Caroline Elliott's team because of what happened with the leadership race and then buying out all the tickets to the event, the Juno News debate. He didn't like that. He's got another one here, 28 ,000 views. He's got a bunch of videos. They're all getting lots of views on this.
This is what the grassroots looks like when it's everyday Canadians who have a voice, who have a strong strong platform who is who in this race. Then they go to the Juno news debate, which you can see here didn't affect Caroline Elliott that much, even though she decided not to show up, they bought out the entire arena for the crowd, because then you can have a favorable crowd cheering for thecandidate that you like and booing or whatever the other. It's a dirty tactic. She doesn't show up.And that was between these two here.
So she went from 21 % to 24%.She actually increased.I mean, they're running tons of Facebook ads to get her support. The Juno news debate happens.Everyone has a general idea of these people and then can listen to them with that information in mind.People then start talking to their friends.
Carrie Lynn Finley had an excellent debate on the Juno news debate and she goes from 8 % to 21%.This is a matter of three weeks. And then from there, she campaigned all across the province. We kept on pushing stuff out on social media. We kept on bringing on people. We had Anthony Russo, who stuck by his morals, buying out the whole audience.
He didn't like that.He left Team Elliot. He joined Team Finlay.Just kept on snowballing people like Billboard Chris.A whole bunch of people just joined in.And despite Corey Tanek, with all this money, all this experience, Dragon's Den, Brett Wilson, all of that did not win.
Let me show you what I think would happen here.So this is a massive victory.Carrie worked her butt off.We used our social platforms to help platform her at the start to get her name out there and just get people to know what she stands for.And this worked. We beat the establishment, just social media, hard work and grassroots.
She didn't have this huge financial behemoth behind her like the other guys, not even just Elliott's campaign, but there's other campaigns. They had a lot of money behind them. And I should say, I have a ton of information about all these candidates, probably more than they all realize.Like I know a lot about all the inner inside stuff, all the dirty stuff, a lot of stuff I can't say.Let me tell you, like we're talking real grassroots here and we beat them.We got guys like Corey Tanek here who had all the advantages.
Look at this article here from October 6th, 2025.Clients of lobby firm connected to Premier, his nephew given tens of millions in training funds.Group represented by lobbying firm owned. So this is talking about Doug Ford and it says here $100 million in grant money. This is coming from Trillium Analysis found. So Trillium Analysis, it's this website here, the same article.
Clients of lobbying firm connected to Premier Ford and his nephew have been hugely successful.and applying for it.No kidding! This guy is Doug Ford's campaign manager and is getting a hundred million dollars for his firm? For training? So basically anyone he brings on board, they can just get paid by taxpayers then?
Was he doing the same thing in British Columbia?and everyone can get paid?Is that what's going on?This seems pretty slimy and unethical. How is this legal?Something doesn't smell right.
$100 million in Skills Development Fund grant traced to lobbyists with ties to Ontario Premier.Ontario Public Accounts indicates the company got about $1 million in the 2024 -2025 year to train its staff. The company doesn't respond to requests for comments from CTV News.I mean, how is that money really dished out?Does anyone who helped the campaign, okay, we're going to train staff. Here's your salary.
Here's some money. Thanks for helping us out.It goes on to say here, CTV News identified 12 organizations that were represented by Rubicon, which is Corey's next strategy firm to secure SDF grants totaled $85 million. They had all the advantages and they lost. And we can throw on top, we got the poly market results here where Caroline Elliott was a favorite to win here, 75%.This is only just based on how much money people put into this.
So if you spend a bunch of money on her, then it'll just push this number up.So clearly, I think that's what happened just to try to sway public opinion.Didn't work. And here's another clip of Global News. They don't really know what happened.

Get started freeSo let's talk a little bit more about Carrie Lynn Finlay and how in the beginning of the race, I didn't know if she would make it this far.You know, there were a lot of candidates who dropped out.But now, as you said, she's a contender. What was the evolution now? What was the thing that drove her to where she is now?
I think she was promoting a kind of an unambiguous conservative message. And I think she also performed well in the early debates. And I think there was maybe a race between her and Fulmer as to who was going to get that pool of votes. And I think she managed to eclipse that. We'll see if I'm right on that.
support here is mostly like Vancouver.I mean, this is the Liberal stronghold, so I'm not surprised. And then Ian Black here took over Richmond and Coquitlam. And then you've got a little bit of Uri Fulmer here and Millibar basically had almost no support except for where he's from, so Kamloops. Then Kerry Lynn Finlay took the rest of British Columbia, almost all of Vancouver Island except for downtown Victoria here. With that, Kerry takes over the leadership.
Once she beats David Eby, she will run this province as a strong conservative province focused on economic development, approving projects, mines, whatever you You name it, that builds the economy, gets rid of the deficit, big business, which will help us with America. Now, obviously, this timeline isn't going to be short here.David Eby still has, I don't know, two years or so before he has to call election.Likely that will happen sooner because his caucus is fracturing and not agreeing on everything going through there with DRIPA.The second she wins, they come up with this.Even conservative MLAs don't support Carrie Lynn Finley and her Trump style politics.
Then it goes on to mention Peter Milibar.I mean, the biggest takeaway here is the Trump style politics and says here she's the most extreme. But Mark Carney just said, make America great again. He said MAGA.So what do people who support Mark Carney in British Columbia, what do they do?You have absolute chaos in people's minds here because you have a lot of people who are just worried about their own property that they won't even listen to this nonsense anymore.
They can see a $13 billion deficit, David Eby running the country into the ground, refusing to work with the Americans, pulling stumbling Jews off the shelves only for from red state.and not blue states, like complete toddler. These kind of tactics are the same ones that the liberals use, and centrist voters will recognize this, and it turns them off.I mean, they're sick and tired of the DRIPA stuff. We've got Brad West here, who's the mayor of Port Coquitlam, sums this up.Beautifully says In fact, it's part of the reason we're plagued by the same challenges year over year, decade over decade.
We need to firmly turn the page on this era and leave it behind.I'm sure a lot of centrist voters are recognizing this. And that's why you see these huge numbers of people who joined the B .C.Conservative Party, bought memberships and voted in this race because they are tired of the DRIPA, the reconciliation nonsense. And you have these deals being done with bands like the Haida Gwaii or Komox.
And then you see another band saying, hey, that's part of that's my land or I to deal that good and based on their laws they can reopen these things up and try to get a better deal for themselves. The deals will never end.Canadians are going absolutely broke because of this and average everyday Canadians who don't have any part in this and are just feeling the effects of the grocery store are sick and tired of it.
And to end this episode off on a lighter note here we've got a black bear trapped in someone's SUV out in Whistler.
Just a bear hanging out in an SUV.I can only imagine theinterior is absolutely annihilated.
So there's a bear in your truck.
Did Yohki find any honey in there? That's the question.
