Spend My Last Day In New England With Me

It is our last and final day of our New England summer road trip.The morning started in Newport.Went for a lovely stroll around town, but we shouldn't have been strolling.We should have been getting in line for Kodo because this is one of the craziest lines I've ever seen.While Andrew waited in Kodo, I went to the Nitro Bar and then met him there.Back in line.

The line outside just leads to the line inside.It's actually crazy.We finally made it to the front.These are very viral.Everyone loves them.They're like actually ginormous.

And they do other things as well besides cinnamon rolls.They do sourdough donuts.And then I also got a pizza bagel from Nitro Bar.So we were having a little bit of a feast.After that, we strolled by the water because I needed to find a sticker.Buy a sticker any place that I go.

And then I stick it on my luggage.Fun little memory from each spot.Store had really cute hats, but I resisted.Then we walked over, looked at all the boats.Also peep my bag, how cute.Wait, can we talk about the fashion of New England?

I feel like it's the same as the South.The preppy nautical look fully skips the tri -state area.So the hydrangeas here are just perfection.At this point we hit the road and I wanted to go get a Connecticut lobster roll.There's like four or five places that were consistently coming up.We landed on the Lobster Landing, which was this cute little house and had a really nice area to sit.

So we got a lobster roll.They had a sausage sandwich, some lobster bisque.

I honestly thought this was gonna fill us up, but it did not.So we debated where should we eat next?You know what?I have never had true New Haven pizza.So we waited in line for it.My findings are that it's so similar to Jersey pizza.

I really loved it.It was super nostalgic for me.Just a bit less structured.And then we had a bit of a drive home, so took our rental car back.And that wraps up our road trip.
