So you know the mentality that I got to teach in my household is I'm raising killers.You know what I'm saying?When you walk in the gym and it's 150, 200 people, and 50 or 75 of those 100 people is rooting against you, and a guy is coming into the game to try to play dirty against you, hey man, I need you being ready to get your feet out.And what I'm trying to explain to you is in that TMZ video, guess what Big Perk was trying to do?Walk over and deescalate a situation.Walk over and show good sportsmanship.

And all of a sudden, me trying to be a teddy bear, trying to be Mr. Friendly, somebody pop off and start talking noise to me.And you know what I said to myself?From that point forward, when I walk into the gym, I'm gonna mind my business, but all gloves are off.I'm going in to protect me and protect mine.

Hold on.First of all, respectfully, One has nothing to do with the other.Let me explain.Number one, number one, I've actually been to about two or three AAU games this year, including going to see Marcus Spears' son.So let's get that out the way first.It's just that you got a little bit more time on your hand than I do.

So, you know, I'm usually on the air when y 'all at these games. Let's not forget that. I'm home, I'm working. Okay, that's number one, right? That's number one. In other words, you try to de -escalate a situation, you responding to somebody disrespecting you while you're trying to de -escalate the situation is entirely different than walking in with no intent to show sportsmanship. There's two different things. I would sit up there and be ready to retaliate myself if somebody came at me the wrong way, but they can't do that.first.I'm not gonna walk in automatically being dismissive and disrespectful, particularly when I'm a leader and I'm representing kids too.So we gotta keep that in mind as well.Number three, look at the sport of boxing.I've seen Mike Tyson put people to sleep and then go over to see if they were okay when he was the one that put them to sleep.

I've seen numerous fighters do stuff like that.I just saw, I just saw Justin Gaethje.I mean, I mean, he put it on a little Poria.I mean, and Poria is something special.Make no mistake about it, but really, really jacked him up.But once it's over, you went to see, yeah, I hope you are.

It's business.You understand?So there's a difference.There's nothing wrong with it.We're not saying that you can't do it, but it's important to recognize that professionalism and sportsmanship should come along.We shouldn't be on the air.

Talking to kids about in sportsmanship.Come on, you can go out there and be determined to kick somebody's ass.And once you've completed the mission, yo man, respect and keep it moving.That's it.There's nothing wrong with that.Now, if they're disrespectful to you, that's different, but you're, you don't walk in there with that intent.
