The Coast Guard rescued a snowmobiler stranded on ice near Michigan's Mackinac Island

A snowmobile rescued from a chunk of ice in Michigan. The man drifted about a mile from Mackinac Island. A team of rescuers battled whiteout conditions and waist-deep snow drifts to reach him. Authorities say it was a dangerous, coordinated effort between several agencies, to reach him.
