The "Islamic Resistance in Iraq" Shared FPV Footage Of A Strike On Camp Victory.

Well, it's official. We are now getting FPV-UAV footage recorded by extremist groups in the Middle East recording strikes on US facilities. An Iranian-backed Iraqi militia, specifically known as Khatib Hezbollah, which is part of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, basically an Iranian proxy, posted the FPV-UAV footage from a recent attack that they conducted against Victory Base, which was formerly known as Camp Victory, which is a pretty major US military logistics hub located adjacent to Baghdad International Airport in Iraq. Now, the site's long supported and hosted US forces and has served as a pretty key operational and support area in the Middle East. The attack and the video release surfaced sometime between March 14th and 15th of 2026, which this Iranian

backed militia group publicly posted all over the internet, including X, Instagram, news outlets, all kinds of stuff like that. And in the video footage, you can see this UAV navigating the base before it crashes into a small building. Now, the reason this is a significant event is because FPV UAVs are relatively low cost, they're highly precise, and they're very difficult to detect and or intercept with traditional

air defenses like what a lot of US military installations have on them, especially if they're using fiber optic guidance for jamming resistance and things like that. Now the fact they were able to use a small UAS to infiltrate the base and conduct a strike is a dangerous escalation in tactics, potentially inspired by the widespread FPV use in places like Ukraine or Malaysia or any of these other locations. What it could do is force US forces to adapt to defenses against small agile threats that

are easily able to bypass radar systems. Now so far there's been no independent confirmation of casualties or any major damage that was widely reported yet, but some analysts note that the base appeared partially evacuated or secured in advance when this thing was circling overhead.
