The Southeast Asia Diaries: Bangkok To Chiang Mai Travel Day

This is episode 5 of the Southeast Asia Diaries, where I'm bringing you guys along as I travel through 5 different cities in 3 different countries.And today is a travel day because we are leaving Bangkok and heading somewhere else.We started the morning at our hotel's breakfast.We stayed at the Standard.I'll always share, but after I leave.Their breakfast buffet is truly amazing.

Had some Thai dishes, amazing fruit, amazing yogurt.I stopped putting heat on my hair because it just gets so frizzy anyway.

The humidity is crazy.

We had a few hours in the morning to kill before we had to go to the airport, so we decided to go get massages again.

The new Durian signs everywhere are so funny.We just picked a random spa that was open at the time we needed.I got another foot massage.She was going in.She brought this tool, she was working it.Andrew got a head massage and he literally looked like he was woken from a deep sleep.

After that, we stopped in a 7 -Eleven to pick up some goodies to try.Loved going into the convenience stores and seeing what kind of snacks and drinks people are buying.

I had to get a Toasty because everyone raved about the Toasties.

And then went back, did one last pack up and sweep of the room and then off we went.My bag was overweight so that was stressful.But also, hee hee, my bag's always overweight.Andrew's been playing this game nonstop, I'm kind of concerned.And then before we knew it, we were overlooking some mountains.Hopped in the nicest taxi ever and made it to Chiang Mai.

My baby the hotel decorated our room for engagement.So cute.Are you kidding me?

We threw our bags down did a little refresh and then we decided to walk to dinner My is much calmer than Bangkok and I also love seeing the mountains and you thought this was an arcade But it was actually just their version of a Best Buy so I walked into that for a minute Then I was walking by and I saw some doggies and we made it to dinner I have this place recommended to me a few times and I do take your guys racks when I can their cow soy Amazing.I also got this galangal dip with mushrooms and it was such a pretty restaurant and then right down the street was this ice cream shop And anytime I can get my hands on coconut ice cream I'm going to.So I had a scoop of that.While we're eating, that's all the cutest cat I've ever seen.And then went back and went to bed.
