The Wedding Week Vlog!! 💍🕊️ My Sister is Married!!

Welcome to another vlog.I've missed you so much.This week is a very, very exciting week because Ashley's wedding is unbelievably soon.It is this week.We are in full maid of honor mode.I literally was just sitting here writing down all my thoughts because I have so many random to -do lists and just things happening this week even like going over my schedule this week just to make sure I don't miss anything.

I need to do a few things and like bring some things to Ashley's house.I told her and Jackson I could help by making them a really cute like projector video.It's super cute.I've seen it on Pinterest.Let me actually find it for you guys.It's super cute because it's on fabric instead of an actual just a wall or something.

I don't know if you can see it.That one's kind of hard to see.That's better to see.Obviously, they're not doing all of those.They're just gonna have one with photos of them and stuff.So Ashley sent me photos Oh my god, so Ashley sent me photos that her and Jackson liked of themselves.

So I need to make a video of that That's on my to -do list.Also, I'm wearing my merch for my Ariana Grande concert.I think it's so cute We're trying to keep stress levels pretty low.We have a lot to do this week But one thing I want to do today is go pick up some flowers because I really want to make some really cute bases for the house before Yuka and her family get here because they come tomorrow So I'm gonna do that.I have a few other things I could pick up at the store.So I think I'm gonna go to Trader Joe's or Gilson's, I'm not sure.

Speaking of opening packages, I ordered a memory card for the new camera that I got because it needed a faster one just because it does shoot in like 4K.So we got her.I also ordered more pink bags because I use these to ship out stuff from my Poshmark.Link is always down below.We've added some new stuff recently and we ran out of bags.So all good things, but I had to order more.

We got the goods guys Someone caught up with me on my outfit and I feel like it's the Ariana merch But you know when you just throw shit on like I literally just have sweatshirts.

I was like, wow Thank you, because I wouldn't You know, I I'm assuming it's the shirt I'm gonna do this really quick But I want to stop by home goods simply because there's a few corners of my house It's so funny.Like I've had years to like get my house how I want it, but When you have guests coming suddenly it's like a good motivating factor to get all the things you've wanted like done I'd love to find like a little mirror to hang on up by the stairs or in like a little small table on the stairs Landing like that the one at the top.So I'm gonna stop by home goods really quick just to see if they have anything Obviously I have I have nothing that would go bad, but I don't want the flowers to get all withered up and hot because it's 82 degrees So we're gonna do this so quick.I'm also getting hungry.So I might make some doodles when I get home That sounds really good guys.I got this parking again, but I did have to circle around once and it's only a 10 minute spot So this is good motivation because I really do need to do this quick.

Yep, but everyone hold your breath when we do it, okay?You guys, your maid of honor is stressed.So much to update.But also so little to update I'm eating some lunch right now and I haven't updated you guys since you can her family came I think I bought no.Yeah, I vlogged this morning I don't think I've vlogged anything else other than this morning when the kids were like helping me get ready was so cute It's been so fun.It's been so chaotic It's so fun being an anti -mode and it just makes me so unbelievably happy that they're here So I wish I could enjoy it a little more because I feel like my brain right now is just everywhere But once the wedding's done, I think it'll be very different and it actually worked out because today's Thursday Tomorrow is the welcome party, and then rehearsal, and then on Saturday is the actual wedding.

And today, Yuka and her family are actually visiting another family friend who lives a few hours away.So they're gone all day, which actually worked out.perfect for my schedule because today I had basically unfiltered in the morning and I just finished doing like a film video thing that Ash and Jax, they wanted like a really pretty projector with like photos of them and stuff so I just finished doing that and talking to their planner doing like last minute things.The last two main things I need to do today is write my speech.At least start it get the most of it, you know, I feel confident speaking in front of people.That's one good thing So i'm not nervous about that.

It's more just I feel like I can't even articulate how I feel I'm, not too stressed about that But that's definitely something big that I need to do And then the other thing is I simply need to pack which I started a little bit I also ordered a dress for the welcome party I was trying to like re -wear a dress because i've been really big on trying to Just use things that are already in my closet, but it just felt like this is such a special thing So obviously, I mean hello my sister is getting married Battery died.Okay.Anyway, all that to say, I ended up ordering a dress that's supposed to come tomorrow morning.So I hope that comes.If it doesn't come in time, that's okay.I'll just return it and wear something that I have.

But it did feel extra special.So I wanted to have a special dress to go for the welcome party.Obviously, I already have my maid of honor dress.It's hitting me. I need to sit and go over my list of like my packing list.So I want to do that I'm, really glad I got that video done.I feel like that was kind of over my head and then the speech I honestly I think i'm gonna pack a little bit I'm gonna write my list, I'm gonna pack a little bit, go to the speech, and then once I feel like I've done enough there, I'm gonna come back to packing, because yes.

And then some of us are staying at the actual venue for the night before and the night after, which I'm really excited for.So I think I just need to think and plan for that more so for myself, because it's not just like, I mean, I can come back here if I need anything, and I can have people bring stuff if I need them to, but realistically, tomorrow after noon, or one -ish, yeah, after 12 -ish, I won't be back to my house until after the wedding.So that's where I'm like, I need my packing list to be very thorough.It did work out that they're not here today.Cause I get so distracted with the kids in the best way though.Like when I hear like Auntie Lita, I'm like, what do you need?

And I put all my own stuff away.So this is good.They definitely need to sit and focus.I have a ton of packages.I'm not sure if anything is needed for this weekend because I think Ashley still has had some things shipped here.So I need to open those.

Well, I need to see what they are first and then I'll, whatever, you get it.Even though I'm not hungry right now because I'm stressed I should eat so I'm eating chicken quinoa and asparagus I like I literally vlogged a little bit yesterday I told them I stress ate because I was like there's so much that we need to get done It's obviously the next day well not obviously, but it is the next day today is the welcome party Yuka's here I feel like I always have to say it because sometimes I'll be like, oh my niece and my nephew, my relatives, my like, you know, my sister in Japan.They're like, wait, what?And I always have to explain it, but the real ones know who've been here for a while.Yuka lived with us for like two years and every single time we go to Japan, obviously I go to see them.Yes.

Hello everyone.Most of you may know me.If you don't, my name is Alicia.Most importantly, I am Ashley's little sister.Growing up, I never had to question if I had a friend or if someone was in my corner.I had a built -in best friend, and who knew twin telepathy still worked with a three -year age gap?

Ashley.Oops.I don't think you'll ever know, truly, how proud I get when people ask me or say like, oh, you're Ashley's sister, right?And it's always been that way, ever since I can remember.You're my soulmate.You're the Elsa to my Anna.

So a little story.The year is 2003.It's one of the many countless, countless, countless nights that I'm way too afraid to sleep by myself in my room.So I grab my pillow and I run across the hallway into Ashley's room.I beg her, can I please sleep in your bed?And she says yes, kind of reluctantly because she's very aware that this has happened the past four nights.

And she knows she's not going to get a lot of sleep.It's a twin bed and it's really small.But you always, always have to put others first, including me, a lot in your life.Deep down, I knew the truth though.It wouldn't last for long until you just tell me I can't.And because I know you would never tell me how you actually feel because you always put other people first, I run back to my room and I grab my whole mattress.

And I drag it across that hall and put it on the floor in your room.And that has happened too many times for me even to count.I think that's where our love for Sister Sleepover started.And of course, like clockwork, the giggles start way past our bedtime, and the conversation frequently would steer towards our future weddings.What do we want our dresses to look like?Yours is beautiful.

How do we even want to be proposed to?What's our future husband going to look like?But one thing was for sure, and it was certain, the biggest deal breaker of them all was that our husbands would be forced to be best friends.I know.Because there's no you without me, and there's no them without us.Now, of course, we did fight a lot, as sisters do.

So I just want you to know that I do forgive you.for taking a squirt gun and spraying water in my newborn face when mom caught you saying take her back where she came from mommy.It was our very first fight.And then I knew we'd be besties.I am sorry though for tattling to mom when you skipped math tutoring in high school.You got grounded and it was really bad.

I'm also sorry for that one time when I punched you for beating me in Mario Kart.We get competitive.However, one thing I'm not sorry for is being extremely, extremely rude to any guy that you brought home.Because to me, it was simple.If they couldn't put up with me being an annoying little sister, they didn't deserve you.because you are the most incredible soul with the biggest heart and we must protect you at all costs.

There was one person who wasn't fazed by my very protective younger sibling energy.One person who would end up laughing obnoxiously in my face when they whooped my ass at Mario Party.Someone who eventually felt like a very protective big brother.Jackson.We met for the first time, I did not fact check this, but I believe in fall 2021.But little do you know, I have been praying for you for years and years and years.

My parents, much longer than that.But I really hope you know that you've always been a part of the McDonald family, whether you knew it or not.Even when you were bartending at Lucky's and you were probably sneaking some free drinks to impress some girl, we were thinking of you.We were also thinking how damn lucky you are, because look at her.I also want to thank you for being not a stepfather, but a father who stepped up to Chloe May.
