They accidentally made a phone that could see through clothes. You see what happened was is OnePlus put an infrared camera on the OnePlus 8 Pro. And people started to realize, wait, if you point it at thin plastics, you can just see through them. Because the plastic was blocking out the visible wavelengths that we can see, but it wasn't blocking out the infrared waves that the camera was picking up on.

And it wasn't just thin plastic that was having this issue, it was also synthetic fibers, like the ones in your clothes. So they had to very quickly get rid of this feature. So they had to very quickly get rid of this feature.
