Things I’m Still Figuring Out About Living in Canada | Victoria, BC

Fue muy divertido.We have a huge renaissance fair in Maryland.The fair here in Victoria was full of costumes.It was just John and I.We were there for maybe an hour, we walked a little, we enjoyed it and it was lovely.And we had a good time.

That was great.We also got season tickets for the theater.We bought season tickets for the Belfry, which excites me a lot.It focuses on Canadian theatre and works written by Canadians and all that.And we are very, very excited.I showed the Toby's Dinner Theatre, which we went to.

And I think the equivalent here would be the Chaminos Theatre, which we went to when we stayed here last summer.We loved going to the Chaminos Theatre, but we decided to wait with the tickets from there for now and we chose the Belfry.So I'm very excited to see Women of the Fur Trade.It sounds very interesting based on the description I saw on the website.So, I'm very excited.So, John and I got the season tickets for that.

John and I also went to the Craig that Rutsch castle and we had an incredible time.I really appreciate that the kids weren't there because they would have wanted to finish quickly and we took our time.We were there for probably two hours.They really teach you the whole history of the place.No se trata solo de los dueños originales, la familia fundadora, o quienes vivieron allí, sino también de otros usos que tuvo.Por ejemplo, se usó como hospital durante la guerra.

And if you're in the area and this seems interesting to you, I highly recommend that you go see it.As for outdoor activities, we went to the park a lot that I saw with Hill because we love being there.But also, my husband John and my son John climbed Mount Finlayson.Oh my God.Well, I asked John, do you want to tell the story or do you prefer that I tell it?He said, you can tell it.

Okay.Well, my son is 15 years old.They're in great shape.My wife is in excellent shape.She goes to the gym all the time.It's fabulous, right?

As for their physical condition, they both know how to climb, not vertical rocks or anything, but they can do hiking.They're good at that.They were fighting to climb that mountain.They were really fighting.These two women with their two dogs simply passed in front of them as if nothing.They were going so fast.

We went to Canadian Tire and bought a lot of stuff.The last time I talked about Canadian Tire, a lot of my viewers from the U .S.that came from my other channel were a little upset because I didn't explain more about Canadian Tire, about what you can find in Canadian Tire, but it's a great store.So singularly Canadian and I love it a lot.So I went with Phoenix to Canadian Tire and we bought some things for his bedroom.

Then we also went to Indigo, which is a really great bookstore.If you're in the United States and you're not familiarized with...I don't know how much they have in Canada for your bed, in addition to a couple of books.We bought a heater, a French press, and a vacuum cleaner.A small one for cleaning.We bought a set of plugs and a fan.

And then we weren't...Oh, some Clorox wipes, some wipes.Also, we got a pillow and a very comfortable blanket, some books, a jar of water so that they have water in their room, some pens, and what else is there here?So they wanted to get utensils and we bought this little game of cups and there are dishes that are played in here, cute and they were not very expensive, so we ended up buying them.And other things for the home, like kitchen sponges, to wash dishes and detergent.And we got for the university.

Do you have any suggestions for something we could miss in the dorm?Besides the sheets.This is mine!And it was really fun because I had never gone shopping with a kid for college.So it was great.Now let's get to the exciting stuff.

And I have a question for me, but there are two more things I want to share with you guys.The first thing is that we're actually going to Vancouver soon.We'll take the ferry to go see Noah Cahan in concert.Noah Cahan is like our family artist.We all love Noah Cahan.

If you don't know him, my God, he's an incredible person.

There's a documentary about his life and it's so, so good.He's a human being with a big heart and I love him so much.

I'm going to play in the damn Fenway Park tonight.

Do you ever worry that this is the maximum point?Everything I think, actually.

I love his music and we are very excited to go to Vancouver to see him.And the most exciting thing, in my opinion, is that my parents are coming to visit.Actually, they're coming.They really bought the plane tickets.They're really coming.They're coming in October.

Traveling and well, at least I'll take them to E .N.Twinfields.We'll see, but I want you to see the Parliament building at night and the Pickley boats and all that.Unfortunately, they won't be here on the weekend, so they won't be able to see the Pickley boat ballet.But yes, we'll see.
