This GPU Scam Might Be the Worst…

I wasn't going to make a video about this yet another GPU scam that I keep seeing everywhere, but I now know why I kept seeing it. This is insane. Someone on Reddit posted a few weeks ago that instead of getting the RTX 5080 that they paid for from Best Buy, they were shipped a GPU box that was filled with a bunch of rocks. We're at the point these days where something like that isn't even a surprise anymore, but here's what happened next. I thought for sure Best Buy would just naturally take care of the customer and the story would be over.

But apparently Best Buy denied the support claim and this dude was out of luck. Instead of taking care of the customer, the buyer had to go to a physical Best Buy store, file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, start the process of a credit card chargeback,

and even file a police report. After all of that, a real investigation started. And at some point in the FedEx tracking system, the package magically gained three pounds. Best Buy then finally refunded the GPU for the buyer, and he ended up getting this tattoo of the AcesTuff logo, which his GPU was supposed to have, and he put it on a bunch of rocks. That is why I kept seeing this story in my Reddit feed. That is why I kept seeing this story in my Reddit feed.
