This Tuna Tastes Like Steak

Let's find out if the bloodline on tuna actually tastes like steak. The dark flesh on this tuna loin is what's known as the bloodline. It's known to be fishy and metallic tasting, but I've heard rumors that when grilled very specifically, it tastes like beef. Apparently, the key is to slice against the grain, leaving on some of that red tuna meat, seasoning with Montreal steak, then grilling next to a control regular slice of beef.

I was told not to flip the bloodline, just giving one side a very hard sear. The beef was good as expected, but then I tried the tuna and it was mind blowing. Exact same texture as a New York strip, with a very beefy flavor. Exact same texture as a New York strip, with a very beefy flavor.
