Thousands of migrants cross into Spain's Ceuta enclave from Morocco

A mass border crossing took place on Thursday at Spain's North African city of Ceuta.According to Spain's public broadcaster, between 2 ,000 and 3 ,000 people made the crossing from Morocco to Ceuta.mostly from the sea, overwhelming authorities at the city's breakwater.Ceuta is one of two Spanish autonomous territories located in North Africa, marking the only land borders between Africa and the European Union.Following this migration event, Spain's armed forces is sending dozens of people to bolster local police.
