Bring your dog to work day getting ready This week is like so all over the place and the number one thing that I need to do is work on Ashley's bridal shower Because it is Friday.No, I'm not Friday.Sorry Saturday.Today's Wednesday So there's still most of it's done, but there's still a lot to do.We are in full made -of -honor mode Taryn has been amazing She was over the other day and we were like planning stuff.But today what I really need to do is like Put down a whole write down a whole list of just everything even if it's already done I need to write it down just so I can visualize it because last night I literally woke up in the middle of the night Wide awake and my brain was just going on all of the things.

I was like, okay.Do I need anything else?I need to order I already got this I got this I got this do we need a different table for you know, like this or do we need you know?Oh my god, we don't even have desserts Do I need to have dessert like little things like that that I was just like whoa We need to chill because my brain is everywhere and you know, we can't have that Again, everything is pretty much done.I just want to make sure it's all done and I can start packing things up because tomorrow I have pretty basic.Friday I have completely free.

So luckily I left that open just so I can like plan things, do last minute errands, all that stuff.

So this vlog is going to be heavily focused on maid of honor duties and I am excited to take you guys along the ride.

I'm also really excited because tonight Ashley got invited to aof Devil Wears Prada.Yeah, two and high.Oh my god, i'm so excited.I obviously haven't seen it yet.I don't even care if it's i'm gonna have low expectations obviously the first the first movie is just a core memory for me like I Loved that movie.

I still love that movie.It's a classic as i'm sure most of you guys agree overall I've heard good reviews, but I have heard a few people being like, oh, it wasn't that good But I feel like with sequels it's like that no matter what like it could be Such an amazing sequel and most people just compare it to the original so I want to go in with complete zero expectations i'm gonna go in Expecting it to suck and me hating it and then I think I'll be pleasantly surprised So I just want an unbiased opinion Like I don't want to be like it wasn't like obviously it's not gonna be the first one, you know So that's tonight.I'm so excited.I was actually invited to I don't even think I told you guys I was invited to the premiere in New York and I wanted to go so bad, but it was right I would have had to go from Vegas to the premiere in New York and I was just I was already I just gotten sick I literally was just like this is something I'm gonna have to pass on because I just don't have it like I want to be able to rally and do it and younger Alicia I would scream going to that premiere just got myself first sometimes, you know, sometimes you have to say no and that's okay I also was like just in New York So it's like we don't you know, so I was bummed but I got really excited when I found out about the screening cuz I was like Okay, at least I still get to see it in theaters.And yeah, so that's with Disney, but that's tonight.Oh, she's gonna come over We also have a call today with a wedding planner that we're working with for her welcome party Just to go over everything that she wants and then bachelorette stuff, too I was planning yesterday and like making a canva for everyone who's coming.

There's just so much going on I the way my brain works too is like I need to focus on the shower and then once that's done I can focus on the batch But obviously that's not how it works with wedding stuff because you need to plan everything at the same time It's so funny too because ash and rem are just like such different It's like with their aesthetics and their styles and everything.So even though I did Remy's last year like her shower I feel like Ashley's is so different Ashley's also like just so chill and I justwant it to be too much for her even like you know how it's like customary for the the groom to stop by with flowers and stuff how she was like I don't really want to do that Like I just feel like and I don't know like she's just so like her personality is just so much more reserved I just want to make sure she has a good time because in the end that's all that really matters But I am excited.I checked the weather and it's supposed to be really good.Not raining.Not super hot lots of plan Lot to plan.

Also the room downstairs is supposed to be completely finished today I think they're just doing like random touch -ups and stuff So I'm so excited because then the next step for home renovations is not even renovations I guess this is because renovations like doing like demo work, right?I mean Like the kitchen was obviously a renovation.I feel like whatever you get it.The next step is moving my office back downstairs Which it's so funny because that's how it started like before we did basically unfiltered We were trying to figure out where we were gonna film it and I was like, I mean I do have this room with my office that we can use so I moved my office upstairs because of the pod but now that the pods have gone I'm like, I guess it makes more sense to move my Office downstairs and then make that a guest room which like obviously if people stay they can always like stay in my bed or something Like obviously if ashley spends the night or something she will like stay in my bed or something and that's fine But having like proper guests and stuff and even with her wedding coming up yuka's family's coming out, which I'm so excited So I just want to make sure like that's all good and stuff So I have about a month to really get everything together and in my head I'm like office needs to go downstairs.We need to make that a guest room.I need to just like organize random stuff So like that's also kind of been in the back of my head right now, and I don't know how it's May I don't know how April is gone.

That's what scares me everything is flying by and I was just thinking how like when you were a kid I Time went by so slow and I heard, so have I told you guys this before?I probably have, I'm so sorry.I saw that one of the main reasons is because like our brains are still experiencing new things.So like everything just feels slower and that's why it feels so much bigger versus when you're an adult, your brain kind of goes on autopilot.I also saw this morning, I literally quoted it on threads.I was like, wait, this explains so much because it was saying how what you're

your cortisol levels go super high one of the first things to go is your hippocampus which is how you store memories me worrying about my memory i'm like oh maybe it's simply the fact that you know I've been stressed for years, but good news the last blood work that I did They said that my cortisol levels were completely good and normal which has not been the case for truly the past decade Which is actually insane like at one point one of my biggest goals was just to get my cortisol levels down and it's crazy that it's finally Damn, so I'm like, maybe my memory isn't bad and just you know, the past 10 years I whatever, you know I don't know how I got on all that.All right makeup is done All right, you guys, we are in full planning mode.Also, Ashley just texted and she's coming over, so anything I need to say out loud, I'm gonna say it now.But main thing is I did a little mock -up of how I'm picturing her backyard with all the tables and stuff.I don't know if it'll be exactly like this, but I think it'll be decent.I'm like, okay, this table goes here, there's a tree here, table one, two, three, alcohol, little champagne tower.

So I'll be a wreck on your wedding day and I had a couple thoughts to share.So I figured I better try to get them out now because I won't on your wedding day.I'll be just a mess.I was thinking the last couple of months, I'm like, wow, I want to say something like that would be meaningful.And if I could think of one thing that I would want you, my daughter, to remember stepping into this next new season.One thing that I hope you never ever forget, with that you can open the first one, the big one.

I just want you to know how much it means to see you so happy.Honey, I feel so much joy as you're entering this new chapter of your life and this new chapter of marriage.And to see the love that you and Jackson have for each other makes my heart so happy.I love you more than what I can express in words, but I'll always just keep trying to tell you I love you for eternity.And I'm also incredibly proud of the woman you've become.And I admire so many things about you.

I admire your compassion, your kindness, your empathy for others.You even had empathy as a little girl.Like if you bring me pill bugs all rolled up, you're like, Mom, they died.

I'm just sleeping, it's okay.

But you always sought out the friend that needed a friend, even in kindergarten.And you always just put other people above yourself.Even planning Yuka's wedding and you forgot to get dressed yourself.You always put everybody first.I admire the kindness that you show to others.I admire your strength and your resilience through life when things have been tough, the resilience you've shown, and so many other things.

I've seen these qualities in you since the wonderful day that God blessed me with you on Christmas Day, and they sent you home in a red Christmas stocking.And they just continue to develop and grow, and I just respect you so much.I'm grateful for the love that you have found in Jackson.I want to remind you that you guys are a team, and please continue to nurture all the mutualyou guys have.It's beautiful.

Keep open and honest communication between you and the mutual support towards your God -given purpose on this life that you support each other.Just keep that going.Always face challenges together and always pray for Jackson.Pray together because we all need help.Remember, you guys are a team.I wish you a lifetime of love, happiness, strength, from above and a marriage filled with all God's blessings and an unwavering commitment to each other.

I thank God he picked me to be your mom.And I'm beyond grateful for the bond we share.I'm so proud and excited to see you take this next step, this new chapter, as you're starting your own new family.
